Job 9
1 And Job answers and says:
ଏଥିରେ ଆୟୁବ ଉତ୍ତର କରି କହିଲା,
2 “Truly I have known that [it is] so, But how is man righteous with God?
“ଏହା ସତ୍ୟ ବୋଲି ମୁଁ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଜାଣେ; ମାତ୍ର କିପରି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ହୋଇପାରେ?
3 If he delights to strive with Him—He does not answer him one of a thousand.
ସେ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ବାଦାନୁବାଦ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କଲେ, ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସହସ୍ର କଥା ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଗୋଟିକର ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
4 Wise in heart and strong in power—Who has hardened toward Him and is at peace?
ସେ ମନରେ ଜ୍ଞାନବାନ ଓ ବଳରେ ପରାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ; କିଏ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣାକୁ ପ୍ରବଳ କରି ମଙ୍ଗଳ ପାଇଅଛି?
5 Who is removing mountains, And they have not known, Who has overturned them in His anger.
ସେ ପର୍ବତଗଣକୁ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର କରନ୍ତି, ସେ ଆପଣା କ୍ରୋଧରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓଲଟାଇ ପକାଇବା ବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ତାହା ଜାଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
6 Who is shaking earth from its place, And its pillars move themselves.
ସେ ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ସ୍ୱ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ହଲାଇ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ତହିଁର ସ୍ତମ୍ଭମାନ ଟଳଟଳ ହୁଏ।
7 Who is commanding to the sun, and it does not rise, And the stars He seals up.
ସେ ବାରଣ କଲେ, ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଉଦିତ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ ଓ ସେ ତାରାଗଣକୁ ବନ୍ଦ କରି ମୁଦ୍ରାଙ୍କିତ କରନ୍ତି।
8 Stretching out the heavens by Himself, And treading on the heights of the sea,
ସେ ଏକାକୀ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳ ପ୍ରସାରନ୍ତି ଓ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ତରଙ୍ଗ ଉପରେ ଗମନ କରନ୍ତି।
9 Making the Great Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, And the inner chambers of the south.
ସେ ସପ୍ତର୍ଷି, ମୃଗଶୀର୍ଷ ଓ କୃତ୍ତିକା ଓ ଦକ୍ଷିଣସ୍ଥ ମଣ୍ଡଳ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରନ୍ତି।
10 Doing great things until there is no searching, And wonderful, until there is no numbering.
ସେ ଅନୁଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ମହାକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଓ ଅସଂଖ୍ୟ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରିୟା କରନ୍ତି।
11 Behold, He goes over by me, and I do not see, And He passes on, and I do not attend to it.
ଦେଖ, ସେ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଗମନ କରନ୍ତି, ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖେ ନାହିଁ; ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ଚାଲିଗଲେ, ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନେ ନାହିଁ।
12 Behold, He snatches away, who brings it back? Who says to Him, What [are] You doing?
ଦେଖ, ସେ ଶିକାର ଧରିଲେ, କିଏ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ନିବାରଣ କରିପାରେ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ କଅଣ କରୁଅଛ, ଏହା କିଏ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିବ?
13 God does not turn back His anger, Proud helpers have bowed under Him.
ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆପଣା କ୍ରୋଧ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାହାର କରିବେ ନାହିଁ; ରାହବର ସହାୟଗଣ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଦ ତଳେ ନତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
14 How much less do I answer Him? Choose out my words with Him?
ତେବେ ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କେତେ ଅଳ୍ପ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବି? ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁକ୍ତି କରିବାକୁ ଆପଣା କଥା ବାଛିବି?
15 Whom, though I were righteous, I do not answer, For my judgment I make supplication.
ମୁଁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ହେଲେ ହେଁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ବିପକ୍ଷ ନିକଟରେ ବିନତି କରନ୍ତି।
16 Though I had called and He answers me, I do not believe that He gives ear [to] my voice.
ଯଦି ମୁଁ ଡାକିଥାʼନ୍ତି ଓ ସେ ମୋତେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇଥାʼନ୍ତେ, ତେବେ ହେଁ ସେ ମୋʼ ରବରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କଲେ ବୋଲି ମୁଁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
17 Because He bruises me with a storm, And has multiplied my wounds for nothing.
କାରଣ ସେ ବତାସରେ ମୋତେ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାନ୍ତି ଓ ଅକାରଣରେ ମୋହର କ୍ଷତ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରନ୍ତି।
18 He does not permit me to refresh my spirit, But fills me with bitter things.
ସେ ମୋତେ ନିଶ୍ୱାସ ମାରିବାକୁ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ମୋତେ ତିକ୍ତତାରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରନ୍ତି।
19 If of power, behold, the Strong One; And if of judgment—who convenes me?
ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିକ୍ରମୀର ବଳର କଥା କହିଲେ, ଦେଖ, ସେ ଅଛନ୍ତି! ଓ ବିଚାରର କଥା କହିଲେ, କିଏ ମୋʼ ପାଇଁ ସମୟ ନିରୂପଣ କରିବ?
20 If I am righteous, my mouth declares me wicked; [If] I am perfect, it declares me perverse.
ମୁଁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ହେଲେ ହେଁ ମୋର ନିଜ ମୁଖ ମୋତେ ଦୋଷୀ କରିବ। ମୁଁ ସିଦ୍ଧ ହେଲେ ହେଁ ମୋତେ କୁଟିଳ ବୋଲି ତାହା ପ୍ରମାଣ କରିବ।
21 I am perfect; I do not know my soul, I despise my life.
ମୁଁ ସିଦ୍ଧ, ମୁଁ ଆପଣାକୁ ମାନ୍ୟ କରେ ନାହିଁ; ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଜୀବନକୁ ତୁଚ୍ଛ କରେ।
22 It is the same thing, therefore I said, He is consuming the perfect and the wicked.
ସବୁ ତ ସମାନ; ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ କହେ, ସେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଓ ଦୁଷ୍ଟକୁ ସଂହାର କରନ୍ତି।
23 If a scourge puts to death suddenly, He laughs at the trial of the innocent.
ଯଦି କୋରଡ଼ା ହଠାତ୍ ମାରି ପକାଏ, ସେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷର ପରୀକ୍ଷାରେ ହସିବେ।
24 Earth has been given Into the hand of the wicked. He covers the faces of her judges, If not—where, who [is] he?
ପୃଥିବୀ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପିତ ହୋଇଅଛି; ସେ ତହିଁର ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତୃଗଣର ମୁଖ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରନ୍ତି; ଯଦି ସେ ନ କରନ୍ତି, ତେବେ ଆଉ କିଏ?
25 My days have been swifter than a runner, They have fled, they have not seen good,
ମୋହର ଦିନସବୁ ଡାକ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଶୀଘ୍ରଗାମୀ; ତାହାସବୁ ପଳାଇଯାଏ, କୌଣସି ମଙ୍ଗଳର ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଏ ନାହିଁ।
26 They have passed on with ships of reed, As an eagle darts on food.
ତାହାସବୁ ବେଗଗାମୀ ଜାହାଜ ପରି ଓ ଶିକାର ଉପରେ ଝାମ୍ପ ମାରିବା ଉତ୍କ୍ରୋଶ ପକ୍ଷୀ ପରି ଚାଲିଯାଏ।
27 Though I say, I forget my talking, I forsake my corner, and I brighten up!
ଯଦି ମୁଁ କହେ, ‘ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ବିଳାପ ଭୁଲିଯିବି, ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ବିଷଣ୍ଣ ମୁଖ ଦୂର କରି ହୃଷ୍ଟଚିତ୍ତ ହେବି;’
28 I have been afraid of all my griefs, I have known that You do not acquit me.
ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ସକଳ ଦୁଃଖ ବିଷୟରେ ଭୀତ ହୁଏ, ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷ ଜ୍ଞାନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
29 I become wicked; why [is] this? I labor [in] vain.
ମୁଁ ଦୋଷୀକୃତ ହେବି; ତେବେ ମୁଁ କାହିଁକି ବୃଥା ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରୁଅଛି?
30 If I have washed myself with snow-water, And purified my hands with soap,
ଯଦି ମୁଁ ହିମଜଳରେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଧୌତ କରେ ଓ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ଅତିଶୟ ପରିଷ୍କାର କରେ,
31 Then You dip me in corruption, And my garments have detested me.
ତେବେ ହେଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଗର୍ତ୍ତରେ ମଗ୍ନ କରିବ ଓ ମୋହର ନିଜ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ମୋତେ ଘୃଣା କରିବ।
32 But if a man like myself—I answer Him, We come together into judgment.
କାରଣ ସେ ମୋʼ ପରି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ନୁହନ୍ତି ଯେ, ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏକତ୍ର ବିଚାର ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆସିବା।
33 If there were a mediator between us, He places his hand on us both.
ଆମ୍ଭ ଦୁହିଁଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ହସ୍ତାର୍ପଣ କରିବାକୁ ସମର୍ଥ କୌଣସି ମଧ୍ୟସ୍ଥ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନାହିଁ।
34 He turns aside His rod from off me, And His terror does not make me afraid,
ସେ ମୋʼ ଠାରୁ ଆପଣା ଯଷ୍ଟି ଦୂର କରନ୍ତୁ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଭୟଙ୍କରତା ମୋତେ ଭୀତ ନ କରୁ;
35 I speak, and do not fear Him, but I am not right with myself.”
ତେବେ ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ ନ କରି କଥା କହିବି; କାରଣ ମୁଁ ନିଜେ ସେହିପରି ନୁହେଁ।
