< Job 9 >
1 And Job answers and says:
Dia namaly Joba ka nanao hoe:
2 “Truly I have known that [it is] so, But how is man righteous with God?
Fantatro tokoa fa izany no izy; Fa aiza no hahamarina ny zanak’ olombelona eo anatrehan’ Andriamanitra?
3 If he delights to strive with Him—He does not answer him one of a thousand.
Raha te-hifandahatra aminy izy, dia tsy mahavaly teny Azy na dia iray amin’ ny arivo aza.
4 Wise in heart and strong in power—Who has hardened toward Him and is at peace?
Hendry am-po Izy sady matanjaka amin’ ny hery; iza no nikiry nanohitra Azy ka tsy naninona?
5 Who is removing mountains, And they have not known, Who has overturned them in His anger.
Izay mamindra tendrombohitra, nefa ireny tsy mahalala akory, izay mamadika azy amin’ ny fahatezerany,
6 Who is shaking earth from its place, And its pillars move themselves.
Ary mampihorohoro ny tany ho afaka amin’ ny fitoerany, ka mihozongozona ny andriny;
7 Who is commanding to the sun, and it does not rise, And the stars He seals up.
Mandidy ny masoandro Izy, ka tsy miposaka iny, ary manisy tombo-kase manafina ny kintana;
8 Stretching out the heavens by Himself, And treading on the heights of the sea,
Sady Izy irery ihany no mamelatra ny lanitra sy mandia ny onjan-dranomasina;
9 Making the Great Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, And the inner chambers of the south.
Manao ireo kintana lehibe Izy, dia ny Bera sy ny Telonohorefy ary ny Ikotokelimiadilaona sy ireo kintana maro any atsimo,
10 Doing great things until there is no searching, And wonderful, until there is no numbering.
Ary manao zava-dehibe tsy takatry ny saina, eny, fahagagana tsy hita isa.
11 Behold, He goes over by me, and I do not see, And He passes on, and I do not attend to it.
Indro, mandalo ahy Izy, nefa tsy hitako; Ary mihelina Izy, nefa tsy fantatro.
12 Behold, He snatches away, who brings it back? Who says to Him, What [are] You doing?
Indro, mipaoka Izy, ka iza no mahasakana Azy? Iza no hanao aminy hoe: Inona no ataonao?
13 God does not turn back His anger, Proud helpers have bowed under Him.
Andriamanitra tsy mampitony ny fahatezerany; Ny mpanampy an-dRahaba aza dia mitanondrika eo ambaniny.
14 How much less do I answer Him? Choose out my words with Him?
Mainka fa izaho tsy mahavaly Azy, na mahafidy teny hifandaharako aminy;
15 Whom, though I were righteous, I do not answer, For my judgment I make supplication.
Fa na dia marina aza aho, dia tsy hahavaly tsy akory; Hifona amin’ Ilay manana ady amiko no hany heriko.
16 Though I had called and He answers me, I do not believe that He gives ear [to] my voice.
Raha mba niantso aho, ka namaly ahy aza Izy, dia tsy ho nino aho fa hanaiky ny fitarainako Izy.
17 Because He bruises me with a storm, And has multiplied my wounds for nothing.
Fa manorotoro ahy amin’ ny tafio-drivotra Izy ka manamaro ny feriko tsy ahoan-tsy ahoana.
18 He does not permit me to refresh my spirit, But fills me with bitter things.
Sady tsy avelany haka aina akory aho, fa vokisany zava-mangidy.
19 If of power, behold, the Strong One; And if of judgment—who convenes me?
Raha ny amin’ ny herin’ ny mahery, dia: Indro ary! Ary ny amin’ ny fitsarana: Iza no hifandahatra amiko?
20 If I am righteous, my mouth declares me wicked; [If] I am perfect, it declares me perverse.
Na dia marina aza aho, dia hanameloka ahy ihany ny vavako; Ary na dia tsy manan-tsiny aza aho, dia hanao ahy ho meloka Izy.
21 I am perfect; I do not know my soul, I despise my life.
Marina aho, ataoko tsinontsinona ny aiko; Tsy ahoako izay ho velona.
22 It is the same thing, therefore I said, He is consuming the perfect and the wicked.
Tsy misy hafa aminy, ka izany no nanaovako hoe: Ny marina sy ny meloka dia samy aringany avokoa.
23 If a scourge puts to death suddenly, He laughs at the trial of the innocent.
Raha misy loza mahafaty tampoka, dia mihomehy ny fizahan-toetra ny marina Izy.
24 Earth has been given Into the hand of the wicked. He covers the faces of her judges, If not—where, who [is] he?
Ny tany efa voatolotra ho eo an-tànan’ ny ratsy fanahy; Manarona ny tavan’ ny mpitsara eo Izy; Raha tsy Izy no manao izany, dia iza, kosa ary?
25 My days have been swifter than a runner, They have fled, they have not seen good,
Ny androko dia faingana noho ny tsimandoa; Lasa ireny ka tsy nahita soa akory.
26 They have passed on with ships of reed, As an eagle darts on food.
Mihelina tahaka ny lakana faingam-pandeha izy, tahaka ny voromahery mipaoka hanina.
27 Though I say, I forget my talking, I forsake my corner, and I brighten up!
Raha hoy izaho: Hanadino ny alaheloko aho, hitsahatra tsy hanjonitra aho ka ho miramirana,
28 I have been afraid of all my griefs, I have known that You do not acquit me.
Dia mahatsiravina ahy ny fahoriako rehetra; Fantatro fa tsy hataonao ho tsy manan-tsiny aho.
29 I become wicked; why [is] this? I labor [in] vain.
Tsy maintsy hatao ho meloka ihany aho, koa nahoana aho no hanasa-tena foana?
30 If I have washed myself with snow-water, And purified my hands with soap,
Na dia mandro amin’ ny oram-panala aza aho ka manadio ny tanako amin’ ny ranon-davenona,
31 Then You dip me in corruption, And my garments have detested me.
Dia hanitrika ahy any am-pahitra miaraka amin’ izay Hianao, ka hataon’ ny fitafiako ho zava-betaveta aho.
32 But if a man like myself—I answer Him, We come together into judgment.
Fa tsy olona tahaka ahy Izy ka ho azoko valiana hifanatrehanay amin’ ny fitsarana.
33 If there were a mediator between us, He places his hand on us both.
Tsy misy mpanelanelana anay Hametraka ny tànany aminay roa tonta.
34 He turns aside His rod from off me, And His terror does not make me afraid,
Aoka hanaisotra ny tsorakazony amiko Izy, ary aoka tsy hampahatsiravina ahy ny fampitahorany,
35 I speak, and do not fear Him, but I am not right with myself.”
Dia hiteny aho ka tsy hatahotra Azy; Fa fantatro fa tsy hatahotra foana aho.
