Job 9
1 And Job answers and says:
Ijob respondis kaj diris:
2 “Truly I have known that [it is] so, But how is man righteous with God?
Certe, mi scias, ke tiel estas; Kaj kiel povas homo esti prava koncerne Dion?
3 If he delights to strive with Him—He does not answer him one of a thousand.
Se li volus havi kun Li juĝan disputon, Li ne povus respondi al Li eĉ unu kontraŭ mil.
4 Wise in heart and strong in power—Who has hardened toward Him and is at peace?
Li estas saĝa per Sia koro kaj potenca per Sia forto; Kiu kuraĝus stari kontraŭ Li kaj restus sendifekta?
5 Who is removing mountains, And they have not known, Who has overturned them in His anger.
Li forŝovas montojn, kaj ili eĉ ne rimarkas, Ke Li renversis ilin en Sia kolero;
6 Who is shaking earth from its place, And its pillars move themselves.
Li skuas la teron de ĝia loko, Ke ĝiaj kolonoj tremas;
7 Who is commanding to the sun, and it does not rise, And the stars He seals up.
Li diras al la suno, kaj ĝi ne leviĝas, Kaj la stelojn Li sigelfermas;
8 Stretching out the heavens by Himself, And treading on the heights of the sea,
Li sola etendas la ĉielon, Kaj Li iras sur la altaĵoj de la maro;
9 Making the Great Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, And the inner chambers of the south.
Li kreis la Grandan Ursinon, Orionon, kaj Plejadojn, Kaj la stelojn de la sudo;
10 Doing great things until there is no searching, And wonderful, until there is no numbering.
Li faras neesploreblajn grandaĵojn, Kaj nekalkuleblajn mirindaĵojn.
11 Behold, He goes over by me, and I do not see, And He passes on, and I do not attend to it.
Jen Li preteriros preter mi, kaj mi tion eĉ ne vidos; Li pasos, kaj mi eĉ ne rimarkos Lin.
12 Behold, He snatches away, who brings it back? Who says to Him, What [are] You doing?
Kiam Li kaptas, kiu malpermesus al Li? Kiu dirus al Li: Kion Vi faras?
13 God does not turn back His anger, Proud helpers have bowed under Him.
Li estas Dio, kaj Lian koleron oni ne povas haltigi; Sub Li fleksiĝas la helpantoj de Rahab.
14 How much less do I answer Him? Choose out my words with Him?
Des pli ĉu mi povus respondi al Li, Ĉu mi povus elekti vortojn kontraŭ Li?
15 Whom, though I were righteous, I do not answer, For my judgment I make supplication.
Eĉ se mi estus prava, mi ne respondus; Sed mi nur petegus mian juĝanton.
16 Though I had called and He answers me, I do not believe that He gives ear [to] my voice.
Se mi vokus kaj Li respondus, Mi ne kredus, ke Li aŭdis mian voĉon,
17 Because He bruises me with a storm, And has multiplied my wounds for nothing.
Li, kiu povas frakasi min per ventego Kaj fari al mi senkulpe multe da vundoj.
18 He does not permit me to refresh my spirit, But fills me with bitter things.
Li ne permesas al mi trankviligi mian spiriton, Sed Li satigas min per maldolĉo.
19 If of power, behold, the Strong One; And if of judgment—who convenes me?
Se oni volas forton, Li estas potenca; Se oni volas juĝon, kiu alvokos min?
20 If I am righteous, my mouth declares me wicked; [If] I am perfect, it declares me perverse.
Se mi montros mian pravecon, mia propra buŝo min kondamnos; Se mi montros min virtulo, Li montros min malbonagulo.
21 I am perfect; I do not know my soul, I despise my life.
Mi estas senkulpa; mi ne zorgas pri mia animo, Mi abomenas mian vivon.
22 It is the same thing, therefore I said, He is consuming the perfect and the wicked.
Ĉio estas egala; tial mi diras: Senkulpulon kaj malpiulon Li ambaŭ pereigas.
23 If a scourge puts to death suddenly, He laughs at the trial of the innocent.
Kiam vipo subite ekbatas, Li ridas ĉe la elprovado de senkulpuloj.
24 Earth has been given Into the hand of the wicked. He covers the faces of her judges, If not—where, who [is] he?
La tero estas transdonita en la manon de malpiulo; La vizaĝon de ĝiaj juĝistoj Li kovras. Se ne Li, tiam kiu?
25 My days have been swifter than a runner, They have fled, they have not seen good,
Miaj tagoj estis pli rapidpiedaj ol kuristo; Ili forkuris, ne vidis bonon;
26 They have passed on with ships of reed, As an eagle darts on food.
Ili forkuris, kiel ŝipetoj el kano, Kiel aglo flugas al manĝotaĵo.
27 Though I say, I forget my talking, I forsake my corner, and I brighten up!
Se mi ekpensas: Mi forgesos mian plendon, Mi farlasos mian mienon, kaj mi min gajigos:
28 I have been afraid of all my griefs, I have known that You do not acquit me.
Tiam mi ektremas pro ĉiuj miaj suferoj; Mi scias, ke Vi ne rigardos min kiel senkulpan.
29 I become wicked; why [is] this? I labor [in] vain.
Mi restos ja malprava; Por kio do mi vane min turmentas?
30 If I have washed myself with snow-water, And purified my hands with soap,
Se mi lavus min per neĝa akvo Kaj purigus miajn manojn per lesivo,
31 Then You dip me in corruption, And my garments have detested me.
Eĉ tiam Vi trempus min en koto, Kaj miaj vestoj min abomenus.
32 But if a man like myself—I answer Him, We come together into judgment.
Ĉar Li ne estas homo simile al mi, Ke mi povu respondi al Li, Ke ni povu ambaŭ iri al juĝo.
33 If there were a mediator between us, He places his hand on us both.
Ne ekzistas inter ni arbitracianto, Kiu povus meti sian manon sur nin ambaŭ.
34 He turns aside His rod from off me, And His terror does not make me afraid,
Li forigu de mi Sian vergon, Kaj Lia teruro ne timigu min;
35 I speak, and do not fear Him, but I am not right with myself.”
Tiam mi ekparolos, kaj ne timos Lin, Ĉar ne tia mi estas en mi mem.
