< Job 7 >

1 “Is there not warfare to man on earth? And his days as the days of a hired worker?
Boni, bomoi ya moto awa na se ezali kaka bomoi ya pasi te? Mikolo ya bomoi na ye ezali penza mikolo ya mongamba te?
2 As a servant desires the shadow, And as a hired worker expects his wage,
Ndenge mowumbu azelaka pio ya pokwa to ndenge mongamba azelaka makasi lifuti na ye,
3 So I have been caused to inherit months of vanity, And they numbered nights of misery to me.
ngai nazwaki lokola libula, basanza ya pamba mpe babutu ya pasi na pasi.
4 If I lay down, then I have said, When do I rise, And evening has been measured? And I have been full of tossings until dawn.
Soki kaka nalali, nakomi komituna: ‹ Tango nini nakolamuka? › Mpe soki kaka nalamuki: ‹ Tango nini butu ekoya? › Nalembi komitungisa tango nyonso.
5 My flesh has been clothed [with] worms, And a clod of dust, My skin has been shriveled and is loathsome,
Nkusu mpe makwanza ezipi nzoto na ngai, poso ya nzoto na ngai ezoki-zoki bapota mpe ekomi kolumba solo.
6 My days swifter than a loom, And they are consumed without hope.
Mikolo ya bomoi na ngai ezali koleka mbangu penza koleka tonga oyo mosali bilamba asalelaka; nakomi na suka, mpe elikya na ngai nyonso esili.
7 Remember that my life [is] a breath, My eye does not turn back to see good.
Oh Nkolo, kobosana te ete bomoi na ngai ezali kaka pema ya pamba! Miso na ngai ekomona lisusu bolamu te.
8 The eye of my beholder does not behold me. Your eyes [are] on me—and I am not.
Liso oyo ezali komona ngai sik’oyo ekotikala komona ngai lisusu te; okoluka ngai, kasi nakozala lisusu te.
9 A cloud has been consumed, and it goes, So he who is going down to Sheol does not come up. (Sheol h7585)
Ndenge mapata ekendaka mpe elimwaka, ndenge wana mpe moto oyo akendaka na mboka ya bakufi azongaka lisusu te. (Sheol h7585)
10 He does not turn to his house again, Nor does his place discern him again.
Akozonga lisusu te na ndako na ye, mpe ndako na ye ekoyeba ye lisusu te.
11 Also I do not withhold my mouth—I speak in the distress of my spirit, I talk in the bitterness of my soul.
Yango wana, nakokanga monoko na ngai te, molimo na ngai ekoloba kaka na mawa, mpe motema na ngai ekolela kaka pasi na ngai.
12 Am I a sea [monster], or a dragon, That You set a watch over me?
Boni, nakomi ebale to elima ya mayi mpo ete batiela ngai bikangiseli?
13 When I said, My bed comforts me, In my talking He takes away my couch.
Nakanisaka ete soki nalali, mbeto na ngai ekobondisa ngai mpe pongi ekokitisa pasi na ngai;
14 And You have frightened me with dreams, And You terrify me from visions,
nzokande, ozali lisusu kotungisa ngai na bandoto ya mabe mpe kobangisa ngai na bimoniseli ya somo.
15 And my soul chooses strangling, Death rather than my bones.
Malamu bafina ngai kingo mpe nakufa, pamba te kufa ezali na litomba koleka bomoi oyo.
16 I have wasted away—I do not live for all time. Cease from me, for my days [are] vanity.
Nayini bomoi na ngai; nawumela libela te na bomoi! Tika ngai kimia, pamba te mikolo na ngai ezanga na yango tina.
17 What [is] man that You magnify him? And that You set Your heart to him?
Moto azali penza nani mpo ete okanisaka ye, mpo ete olandelaka ye na bokebi,
18 And inspect him in the mornings, [And] in the evenings try him?
mpo ete otalaka ye tango nyonso mpe omekaka ye tango nyonso?
19 How long do You not look from me? You do not desist until I swallow my spittle.
Mpo na nini okoki kolongola miso na Yo te likolo na ngai? Mpo na nini okoki kotika ngai kimia te ata mpo na ngonga moke?
20 I have sinned, what do I do to You, O watcher of man? Why have You set me for a mark to You, And I am for a burden to myself—and what?
Oh Mokeli na ngai, soki nasali lisumu, eloko nini ngai nasali Yo? Mpo na nini oponi kaka kobeta ngai? Boni, nakomi mokumba mpo na Yo?
21 You do not take away my transgression, And [do not] cause my iniquity to pass away, Because now, I lie down in dust, And You have sought me—and I am not!”
Mpo na nini ozali kolimbisa mabunga na ngai te mpe ozali kobosana masumu na ngai te? Kala mingi te, nakokende kolala na putulu; okoluka ngai, kasi nakozala lisusu te. »
