Job 42
1 And Job answers YHWH and says:
Kisha Ayubu akamjibu Yahweh na kusema,
2 “You have known that [for] all things You are able, And no purpose is withheld from You.
“Ninajua kwamba unaweza kufanya mambo yote, ya kuwa hakuna kusudi lako linaweza kuzuiliwa.
3 [You said], Who [is] this hiding counsel without knowledge? Therefore, I have declared, and do not understand, Too wonderful for me, and I do not know.
Ni nani huyo ambaye pasipo maarifa huificha mipango? Kwa kweli nilisema mambo ambayo sikuyaelewa, mambo magumu kwangu kuyafahamu, ambayo juu yake sikujua chochote.
4 Please hear, and I speak; [You said], I ask you, and you cause Me to know.
Uliniambia, 'Sikiliza sasa, nami nitasema; nitakuuliza mambo, nawe utaniambia.'
5 By the hearing of the ear I heard You, And now my eye has seen You.
Nimekuwa nikikusikia kwa usikivu wa sikio langu, lakini sasa jicho langu linakuona wewe.
6 Therefore I loathe [it], And I have sighed on dust and ashes.”
Basi ninajidharau mwenyewe; ninatubu kwa mavumbi na majivu.”
7 And it comes to pass after YHWH’s speaking these words to Job, that YHWH says to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My anger has burned against you and against your two friends, because you have not spoken correctly concerning Me, like My servant Job.
Ilitokea baada ya kuwa amekwisha kusema maneno hata kwa Ayubu, Yahweh alimwambia Elifazi Mtemani, “Ghadhabu yangu imewaka dhidi yako na dhidi ya marafiki zako wawili kwa kuwa hamkusema maneno ya haki juu yangu kama alivyofanya mtumishi wangu Ayubu.
8 And now, take seven bullocks and seven rams for yourselves, and go to My servant Job, and you have caused a burnt-offering to ascend for yourselves; and Job My servant prays for you, for surely I accept his face, so as not to do folly with you, because you have not spoken correctly concerning Me, like My servant Job.”
Sasa basi, jitwalieni mafahari saba na mabeberu saba, kisha mmwendee mtumishi wangu Ayubu na mtoe sadaka ya kuteketezwa kwa ajili yenu. Ndipo Mtumishi wangu Ayubu atawaombea ninyi, nami nitayapokea maombi yake, ili kwamba nisiwashughulikie sawasawa na upumbavu wenu. Maana hamkusema mambo ya haki juu yangu, kama alivyofanya mtumishi wangu Ayubu.”
9 And they go—Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, Zophar the Naamathite—and do as YHWH has spoken to them; and YHWH accepts the face of Job.
Basi Elifazi Mtemani, Bildadi Mshuhi na Zofari Mnaamathi walienda na kufanya kama vile Yahweh alivyowaamuru, na Mungu alimtakabali Ayubu.
10 And YHWH has turned [to] the captivity of Job in his praying for his friends, and YHWH adds [to] all that Job has—to double.
Na wakati Ayubu alimpowaombea rafiki zake, Yahweh alirejeza bahati yake. Yahweh alimjalia mara mbili ya kile alichokimiliki hapo awali.
11 And all his brothers come to him, and all his sisters, and all his former acquaintances, and they eat bread with him in his house, and bemoan him, and comfort him concerning all the calamity that YHWH had brought on him, and they each gave to him one kesitah, and each one ring of gold.
Ndipo ndugu zake na Ayubu, na wale jamaa zake wote walikuwa wanajuana naye hapo mwanzo, walikuja hapo kwake na kula chakula pamoja naye katika nyumba yake. Waliomboleza pamoja naye na walimfariji kwa ajili majanga yote ambayo Yahweh alikuwa ameyaleta juu yake. Kila mtu alimpa Ayubu kipande cha fedha na pete ya dhahabu.
12 And YHWH has blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning, and he has fourteen thousand of a flock, and six thousand camels, and one thousand pairs of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.
Yahweh aliubarikiwa mwisho wa maisha ya Ayubu kuliko mwanzo wake; alikuwa na kondoo kumi na nne elfu, ngamia elfu sita, jozi elfu moja, na punda jike elfu moja.
13 And he has seven sons and three daughters;
Pia alikuwa na wana saba na mabinti watatu.
14 and he calls the name of the first Jemima, and the name of the second Kezia, and the name of the third Keren-Happuch.
Binti wa kwanza alimwita Yemima, na wa pili Kezia, na wa tatu Kerenihapuki.
15 And there have not been found women [as] beautiful as the daughters of Job in all the land, and their father gives to them an inheritance in the midst of their brothers.
Katika nchi yote hawakupatikana wanawake wazuri kama mabinti wa Ayubu. Baba yao aliwapa urithi miongoni mwa kaka zao.
16 And Job lives after this one hundred and forty years, and sees his sons, and his sons’ sons, four generations;
Baada ya haya, Ayubu aliishi miaka 140; aliwaona wana wake na wana wa wanawe, hata kizazi cha nne.
17 and Job dies, aged and satisfied [with] days.
Basi Ayubu alifariki, akiwa mzee na akijawa na siku nyingi.
