Job 25

1 And Bildad the Shuhite answers and says:

Então respondeu Bildad o suhita, e disse:

2 “The rule and fear [are] with Him, Making peace in His high places.

Com elle estão dominio e temor; elle faz paz nas suas alturas.

3 Is their [any] number to His troops? And on whom does His light not arise?

Porventura teem numero as suas tropas? e sobre quem não surge a sua luz?

4 And what? Is man righteous with God? And what? Is he pure—born of a woman?

Como pois seria justo o homem para com Deus? e como seria puro aquelle que nasce da mulher?

5 Behold—to the moon, and it does not shine, And stars have not been pure in His eyes.

Olha, até a lua não resplandece, e as estrellas não são puras aos seus olhos.

6 How much less man—a grub, And the son of man—a worm!”

E quanto menos o homem, que é um verme, e o filho do homem, que é um bicho.
