Job 22
1 And Eliphaz the Temanite answers and says:
১তেতিয়া তৈমনীয়া ইলীফজে পুনৰায় উত্তৰ কৰি ক’লে,
2 “Is a man profitable to God, Because a wise man is profitable to himself?
২মানুহ জানো ঈশ্বৰৰ উপকাৰী হব পাৰে? বাস্তৱিক জ্ঞানী মানুহ নিজৰেইহে উপকাৰী হয়।
3 Is it a delight to the Mighty One That you are righteous? Is it gain, That you make your ways perfect?
৩তুমি ধাৰ্মিক হলে সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনাৰ কিবা হিত হব নে? তুমি সিদ্ধ আচৰণ কৰিলে তেওঁৰ কি লাভ হব?
4 Because of your reverence Does He reason [with] you? He enters with you into judgment:
৪তেওঁলৈ তোমাৰ কি ভয়, তাৰ কাৰণেহে তেওঁ জানো তোমাক অনুযোগ কৰে? তাৰ নিমিত্তেহে জানো তেওঁ তোমাৰ লগত বিচাৰত সোমাব?
5 Is your wickedness not abundant? And there is no end to your iniquities.
৫তোমাৰ দুষ্টতা অধিক নহয় নে? তোমাৰ অপৰাধ অসীম নহয় নে?
6 For you take a pledge of your brother for nothing, And you strip off the garments of the naked.
৬কিয়নো তুমি অকাৰণতে নিজ ভাইৰ পৰা বন্ধক ল’লা, আৰু বস্ত্ৰহীনৰ পৰাও বস্ত্ৰ কাঢ়ি ল’লা।
7 You do not cause the weary to drink water, And you withhold bread from the hungry.
৭তুমি তৃষ্ণাতুৰ লোকক পানী নিদিলা, আৰু ক্ষুধাতুৰ লোকৰ আহাৰ আটক কৰিলা।
8 As for the man of arm—he has the earth, And the accepted of face—he dwells in it.
৮কিন্তু দেশখন পৰাক্ৰমী জনাৰেই আছিল; আৰু মৰ্য্যদাৱান জনাই তাত বাস কৰিছিল।
9 You have sent widows away empty, And the arms of the fatherless are bruised.
৯তুমি বিধৱাসকলক শুদা হাতে বিদায় দিলা; আৰু পিতৃহীনসকলৰ বাহু ভঙা হ’ল।
10 Therefore snares [are] all around you, And sudden fear troubles you.
১০এই হেতুকে তোমাৰ চাৰিওফালে ফান্দ আছে; আৰু আকস্মিক ত্ৰাসে তোমাক বিহ্বল কৰিছে।
11 Or darkness—you do not see, And abundance of waters covers you.
১১তুমি আন্ধাৰ দেখা নাই নে? তোমাক তল নিওঁতা ঢল-পানী জানো দেখা নোপোৱা?
12 Is God not high [in] the heavens? And see the summit of the stars, That they are high.
১২ঈশ্বৰ নিচেই ওখত থকা স্বৰ্গত নাই নে? সকলোতকৈ ওপৰত থকা তৰাবোৰ চোৱা, সেইবোৰ কিমান ওখত আছে?
13 And you have said, How has God known? Does He judge through thickness?
১৩তুমি কৈছা, “ঈশ্বৰে কি জানে? ঘন মেঘৰ মাজেদি তেওঁ জানো বিচাৰ কৰিব পাৰে?
14 Thick clouds [are] a secret place to Him, And He does not see, And He habitually walks [above] the circle of the heavens.
১৪ঘন মেঘে আঁৰ কৰি ধৰাত, তেওঁ দেখিবলৈ নাপায়, কেৱল আকাশ-মণ্ডল ফুৰি থাকে।”
15 Do you observe the path of the age, That men of iniquity have trodden,
১৫তুমি পুৰণি পথকে ধৰি থাকিবা নে, যি পথেৰে দুৰ্জনবোৰে খোজকাঢ়ে -
16 Who have been cut down unexpectedly? A flood is poured out on their foundation.
১৬সিহঁতক অকালতে ধৰি নিয়া হৈছিল; আৰু সিহঁতৰ ভিত্তিমূল বান-পানীয়ে উটাই নিছিল।
17 Those saying to God, Turn aside from us, And what does the Mighty One do to them?
১৭সেই সময়ত সিহঁতে ঈশ্বৰক কৈছিল, “আমাৰ পৰা দূৰ হোৱা;” আৰু “সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনাই আমাৰ অৰ্থে কি কৰিব পাৰে?”
18 And He has filled their houses [with] good (And the counsel of the wicked Has been far from me).
১৮তথাপি তেওঁ সিহঁতৰ ঘৰবোৰ উত্তম উত্তম দ্ৰব্যেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ কৰিছিল; কিন্তু দুষ্টবোৰৰ আলচ মোৰ পৰা দূৰত থাকে।
19 The righteous see and they rejoice, And the innocent mocks at them:
১৯তাকে দেখি ধাৰ্মিকসকলে আনন্দ কৰে; আৰু নিৰ্দ্দোষী লোকে সিহঁতক খেঁজেলিয়াই,
20 Surely our substance has not been cut off, And fire has consumed their excellence.
২০আৰু কয়, “আমাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উঠাবোৰ নিশ্চয়ে বিনষ্ট হল; আৰু সিহঁতৰ প্ৰচুৰ সম্পত্তি অগ্নিয়ে গ্রাস কৰিলে।”
21 Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace, Thereby your increase [is] good.
২১এতিয়া তুমি তেৱেঁ সৈতে পৰিচয় কৰি শাস্তি লাভ কৰা; তাকে কৰিলে তোমাৰ মঙ্গল হব।
22 Please receive a law from His mouth, And set His sayings in your heart.
২২তেওঁৰ মুখৰ পৰা ব্যৱস্থা গ্ৰহণ কৰা, আৰু তেওঁৰ বাক্যবোৰ তোমাৰ হৃদয়ত ৰাখা।
23 If you return to the Mighty you are built up, You put iniquity far from your tents.
২৩যদি তুমি সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনালৈ ঘূৰা, আৰু তোমাৰ তম্বুৰ পৰা অধৰ্ম দূৰ কৰা, তেন্তে তুমি পুনৰায় উন্নতি লাভ কৰিবা।
24 So as to set a defense on the dust, And a covering on a rock of the valleys.
২৪তোমাৰ বহুমূল্য ধন ধূলিত ৰাখা, আৰু ওফীৰৰ সোণ জুৰিৰ শিলবোৰৰ মাজত পেলোৱা;
25 And the Mighty has been your defense, And silver [is] strength to you.
২৫তাতে সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনা তোমাৰ বহুমূল্য ধন হ’ব, আৰু তেওঁ তোমাৰ উজ্জ্বল ৰূপস্বৰূপ হব।
26 For then you delight yourself on the Mighty, And lift up your face to God,
২৬কিয়নো তেতিয়া তুমি সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনাত আনন্দ কৰিবা, আৰু ঈশ্বৰলৈ মুখ তুলিবা।
27 You make supplication to Him, And He hears you, And you complete your vows.
২৭তুমি তেওঁৰ আগত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিলে তেওঁ শুনিব; তাতে তেওঁ তোমাৰ সঙ্কল্প সিদ্ধ কৰিব।
28 And you decree a saying, And it is established to you, And light has shone on your ways.
২৮তুমি কোনো বিষয় মনত স্থিৰ কৰিলে, সেয়ে তোমালৈ সিদ্ধ হ’ব; আৰু তোমাৰ পথত পোহৰ পৰিব।
29 For they have made low, And you say, Lift up. And He saves the bowed down of eyes.
২৯বিপদৰ কালত তুমি কবা, উন্নতি হব; আৰু অধোমুখক তেওঁ নিস্তাৰ কৰিব।
30 He delivers the one [who is] not innocent, Indeed, he has been delivered By the cleanness of your hands.”
৩০তেওঁ নিৰ্দ্দোষী নোহোৱা জনকো উদ্ধাৰ কৰিব; এনে কি, সি তোমাৰ হাতৰ যোগেদি পবিত্ৰতাৰ উদ্ধাৰ পাব।”
