Job 2
1 And the day is, that sons of God come to station themselves by YHWH, and there also comes Satan in their midst to station himself by YHWH.
Wata rana kuma mala’iku suka sāke kawo kansu gaban Ubangiji, sai Shaiɗan shi ma ya zo tare da su yă nuna kansa a gabansa.
2 And YHWH says to Satan, “From where have you come?” And Satan answers YHWH and says, “From going to and fro in the land, and from walking up and down in it.”
Sai Ubangiji ya ce wa Shaiɗan, “Daga ina ka fito?” Shaiɗan ya amsa wa Ubangiji ya ce, “Daga yawo a duniya ina kai da kawowa a cikinta.”
3 And YHWH says to Satan, “Have you set your heart to My servant Job because there is none like him in the land, a man perfect and upright, fearing God and turning aside from evil? And still he is keeping hold on his integrity, and you move Me against him to swallow him up for nothing!”
Sai Ubangiji ya ce wa Shaiɗan, “Ko ka ga bawana Ayuba? A cikin duniya babu wani kamar sa; shi marar laifi ne, adali kuma, mutum ne mai tsoron Allah ba ruwansa da mugunta. Kuma har yanzu bai fasa zama mai aminci ba duk da wahalar da ka sa na bari ka ba shi ba tare da wani dalili ba.”
4 And Satan answers YHWH and says, “A skin for a skin, and all that a man has he gives for his life.
Shaiɗan ya amsa ya ce, “Fata don fata! Mutum zai iya rabuwa da duk abin da yake da shi domin ransa.
5 Yet, put forth Your hand now, and strike to his bone and to his flesh—if not, he blesses You to Your face!”
Ka ɗan taɓa lafiyar jikinsa ka gani ba shakka zai la’anta ka kana ji kana gani.”
6 And YHWH says to Satan, “Behold, he [is] in your hand; only take care of his life.”
Ubangiji ya ce wa Shaiɗan, “To, shi ke nan, duk abin da yake da shi yana hannunka, amma kada ka taɓa shi, shi kansa.”
7 And Satan goes forth from the presence of YHWH, and strikes Job with a severe ulcer from the sole of his foot to his crown.
Sai Shaiɗan ya bar Ubangiji, ya je ya sa wa Ayuba ƙuraje masu zafi a jikinsa daga tafin ƙafafunsa har zuwa kansa.
8 And he takes to him a potsherd to scrape himself with it, and he is sitting in the midst of the ashes.
Sai Ayuba ya ɗauki kaskon tukunya yana ta sosa ƙurajen da shi, yayinda yake zaune cikin toka.
9 And his wife says to him, “You are still keeping hold on your integrity: bless God and die.”
Matarsa ta ce masa, “Har yanzu kana nan da amincinka? Ka la’anta Allah ka mutu!”
10 And he says to her, “As one of the foolish women speaks, you speak; indeed, do we receive the good from God, and we do not receive the bad?” In all this Job has not sinned with his lips.
Ya amsa ya ce, “Kina magana kamar wawiya. Alheri kaɗai za mu dinga samu daga Allah ban da wahala?” A cikin wannan duka Ayuba bai yi zunubi ba cikin maganarsa.
11 And three of the friends of Job hear of all this evil that has come on him, and they each come in from his place—Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite—and they have met together to come to bemoan him, and to comfort him;
Lokacin da abokan Ayuba su uku wato, Elifaz mutumin Teman, Bildad mutumin Shuwa, da Zofar mutumin Na’ama suka ji wahalar da ta auka wa Ayuba, sai suka shirya suka bar gidajensu suka je don su ta’azantar da shi.
12 and they lift up their eyes from afar and have not discerned him, and they lift up their voice and weep, and each tears his robe, and sprinkle dust on their heads—heavenward.
Sa’ad da suka gan shi daga nesa, da ƙyar suka gane shi; sai suka fara kuka da ƙarfi, suka yayyaga tufafinsu suka zuba toka a kawunansu,
13 And they sit with him on the earth seven days and seven nights, and there is none speaking to him a word when they have seen that the pain has been very great.
sai suka zauna da shi a ƙasa har kwana bakwai. Ba wanda ya ce masa kome, don sun ga tsananin wahalar da yake ciki.
