< Job 12 >
1 And Job answers and says:
Nanoiñe ami’ty hoe t’Iobe:
2 “Truly—you [are] the people, and wisdom dies with you.
Toe inahareo avao ro ondaty, vaho hitrao-pihomak’ ama’ areo ty hihitse.
3 I also have a heart like you, I am not fallen more than you, And with whom is there not like these?
Fa toe mahilala ka iraho, tsy inahareo avao; Tsy zai’ areo iraho. Ia ty tsy mahafohiñe o raha rezao?
4 I am a laughter to his friend: He calls to God, and He answers him, A laughter [is] the perfect righteous one.
Fiankahafa’ o rañekoo iraho: Kanjie’e t’i Andrianañahare, vaho toiñe’e, Fitohafañe i vañoñe tsy aman-kilay.
5 A torch—despised in the thoughts of the secure Is prepared for those sliding with the feet.
Tsambolitio’ ty miagaregañe ty failo, ie nihentseñañe ho a o mipolititse am-pandiao.
6 The tents of spoilers are at peace, And those provoking God have confidence, Into whose hand God has brought.
Mierañerañe ty kiboho-malaso, le tsi-añoleñañe ty manigìk’ an’Andrianañahare, o mitintiñe ty ndrahare’e am-pità’eo.
7 And yet, now ask [one of] the beasts, And it shows you, And a bird of the heavens, And it declares to you.
Fe añontaneo o bibio, hampandrendreha’ iareo; naho o voro-mitiliñeo, hitalilia’ iareo;
8 Or talk to the earth, and it shows you, And fishes of the sea recount to you:
ke misaontsia ami’ty tane toy, hañòha’e azo, apoho hitaroña’ o fian-driakeo.
9 Who has not known in all these, That the hand of YHWH has done this?
Ia amy rezay ro tsy mahafohiñe t’ie nanoem-pità’ Iehovà?
10 In whose hand [is] the breath of every living thing, And the spirit of all flesh of man.
Kila am-pità’e ao ty fiai’ ze veloñe, naho ty kofò’ ze hene ondaty.
11 Does the ear not try words? And the palate taste food for itself?
Tsy mpitsò-bolañe hao ty ravembia, manahake ty fitsopehan-dañilañy ty mahakama?
12 With the very aged [is] wisdom, And [with] length of days [is] understanding.
Amo antetseo hao ty hihitse, amo lava’ androo hao ty hilala?
13 With Him [are] wisdom and might, To Him [are] counsel and understanding.
Aman’Añahare o hihitse naho haozarañeo; ama’e o fanoroañe naho hilalao.
14 Behold, He breaks down, and it is not built up, He shuts against a man, And it is not opened.
Heheke, mandrotsake re, le tsy hamboareñe ka; agabe’e ao t’indaty, vaho tsy ho hahañe ka.
15 Behold, He keeps in the waters, and they are dried up, And He sends them forth, And they overturn the land.
Hehe te kalaña’e o ranoo, le maike; irahe’e ka iereo, le añinahinà’e ty tane.
16 With Him [are] strength and wisdom, His the deceived and deceiver.
Ama’e ty hafatrarañe naho ty hilala; aze ty finitake naho ty mpamitake
17 Causing counselors to go away [as] a spoil, Indeed, He makes fools of judges.
Ampañaveloa’e tsy aman-kana o mpanoroo, vaho ampigege’e o mpizakao.
18 He has opened the bands of kings, And He binds a girdle on their loins.
Abala’e ty kitambem-panjaka vaho diaña’e sokotry ty vania’e.
19 Causing ministers to go away [as] a spoil And strong ones He overthrows.
Asese’e tsy aman-kana o mpisoroñeo naho gorè’e ty fanalolahy.
20 Turning aside the lip of the steadfast, And the reason of the aged He takes away.
Ampitsiñe’e ty lañona’ o matoeo, naho afaha’e ty hilala’o antetseo.
21 Pouring contempt on princes, And the girdle of the mighty He made feeble.
Ampidoaña’e inje o ana-donakeo naho abala’e ty sadia’ o maozatseo.
22 Removing deep things out of darkness, And He brings out to light death-shade.
Ventabentare’e o raha mietak’ añ’ieñeo, aboa’e an-kazavàñe o talinjon-kavilasio.
23 Magnifying the nations, and He destroys them, Spreading out the nations, and He quiets them.
Onjone’e o fifeheañeo naho rotsahe’e; atratrañahe’e o fifelehañeo vaho asese’e an-drohy añe.
24 Turning aside the heart Of the heads of the people of the land, And He causes them to wander In vacancy—no way!
Ampimotsoe’e arofo o mpiaolo’ ty tane toio, vaho ampirerererè’e an-dratraratra tsy aman-dalañe añe.
25 They feel darkness, and not light, He causes them to wander as a drunkard.”
Ie mijimejime añ’ ieñe ao tsy an-kazavàñe; midaleandaleañe hoe jike.
