Jeremiah 7
1 The word that has been to Jeremiah from YHWH, saying,
१यिर्मयासाठी परमेश्वराकडून जे वचन आले ते असे, ते म्हणाले:
2 “Stand in the gate of the house of YHWH, and you have proclaimed this word there, and have said, Hear a word of YHWH, all you of Judah, who are coming in at these gates, to bow before YHWH.”
२यिर्मया, परमेश्वराच्या घराच्या दारात उभा राहा आणि हे वचन घोषीत कर! “हे यहूदातील लोकहो, जे तुम्ही सर्व परमेश्वराची उपासना करायला या दारातून आत जाता, ते तुम्ही परमेश्वराचे वचन ऐका!
3 Thus said YHWH of Hosts, God of Israel: “Amend your ways, and your doings, And I cause you to dwell in this place.
३सेनाधीश परमेश्वर, इस्राएलाचा देव, असे म्हणतो, ‘तुम्ही आपली वाट नीट करा आणि चांगले ते करण्याचा प्रयत्न करा. आणि तुम्ही असे केल्यास मी तुम्हास या ठिकाणी राहू देईन
4 Do not trust for yourselves To the words of falsehood, saying, The temple of YHWH! The temple of YHWH! These [are] the temple of YHWH!
४“परमेश्वराचे मंदिर, परमेश्वराचे मंदिर, परमेश्वराचे मंदिर हे आहे. असे खोटे बोलणाऱ्या वाईट गोष्टींस स्वत: स सोपवून देऊ नकोस.
5 For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, If you thoroughly do judgment Between a man and his neighbor,
५कारण जर तू आपला मार्ग नीट केलास आणि चांगले ते केलेस, जर तू शेजारी आणि मनुष्यांमध्ये पुर्णपणे न्याय केला,
6 You do not oppress sojourner, fatherless, and widow, And innocent blood is not shed in this place, And [you] do not walk after other gods, for evil to yourselves,
६जर तू देशात राहणाऱ्याचे, अनाथाचे, आणि विधवेचे शोषण करणार नाहीस, आणि या स्थानात निर्दोष रक्त पाडणार नाहीस आणि स्वत: चे नुकसान करून घ्यायला इतर देवतांच्या मागे चालणार नाहीस,
7 Then I have caused you to dwell in this place, In the land that I gave to your fathers, From age even to age.
७तर या स्थानात, जे राष्ट्र पुरातन काळी तुमच्या या पूर्वजांना मी सर्वकाळासाठी दिला होता, त्यामध्ये मी तुला राहू देईन.
8 Behold, you are trusting for yourselves On the words of falsehood, so as not to profit.
८पाहा! तुम्ही फसव्या गोष्टींवर विश्वास ठेवत आहात, जे तुमची काहीएक मदत करु शकत नाही.
9 Stealing, murdering, and committing adultery, And swearing to falsehood, and giving incense to Ba‘al, And going after other gods whom you did not know.
९तुम्ही चोरी, खून आणि व्यभिचार आणि खोटी शपथ वाहाल आणि बालमुर्तीस धूप जाळाल आणि ज्या देवांना तुम्ही जाणले नाही त्यांच्या मागे चालाल,
10 And you have come in and stood before Me, In this house on which My Name is called, And have said, We have been delivered, In order to do all these abominations.
१०मग ज्या घरात माझ्या नावाची घोषणा होते, तिथे तुम्ही येऊन माझ्या समोर उभे राहून असे म्हणाल का आम्ही तारले गेलो आहोत? म्हणजे तुम्ही हे सर्व घृणीत काम पुन्हा कराल.
11 Has this house, On which My Name is called, Been a den of burglars in your eyes? Even I, behold, have seen,” A declaration of YHWH.
११ज्या घराला माझे नाव आहे, ते तुमच्या दृष्टीने दुसरे काही नसून लुटारूंना लपण्याची जागा आहे का? पाहा, माझ्या दृष्टीस असे आले आहे, असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
12 “But go now to My place that [is] in Shiloh, Where I caused My Name to dwell at first, And see that which I have done to it, For the wickedess of My people Israel.
१२तर तुम्ही शिलो येथील जे माझे ठिकाण होते तेथे जा, ज्यात पहिल्याने माझे नाव वसविले आणि त्याचे मी आपले लोक, इस्राएल यांच्या दुष्कृत्यांमुळे जे केले ते पाहा.
13 And now, because of your doing all these works,” A declaration of YHWH, “And I speak to you, rising early and speaking, And you have not listened, And I call you, and you have not answered,
१३इस्राएलाच्या लोकांनो, तुम्हीही सर्व दुष्कृत्ये करीत होता.” परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो! मी पुन्हा पुन्हा तुमच्याशी बोललो, पण तुम्ही माझे ऐकण्यास नकार दिला. मी तुम्हास बोलाविले, पण तुम्ही उत्तर दिले नाही.
14 I also have done to the house on which My Name is called, In which you are trusting, And to the place that I gave to you, and to your fathers, As I have done to Shiloh.
१४म्हणून, शिलोचे जसे मी केले, त्याचप्रकारे ज्या घरास माझे नाव आहे आणि ज्यावर तुम्ही विश्वास ठेवता व जे ठिकाण मी तुम्हास व तुमच्या पूर्वजांना दिले तसे करीन.
15 And I have cast you from before My face, As I have cast out all your brothers, The whole seed of Ephraim.
१५एफ्राईममधील तुमच्या भावांना मी माझ्यापासून जसे दूर केले, तसे मी तुम्हास माझ्यापासून दूर करीन.
16 And you do not pray for this people, Nor lift up crying and prayer for them, Nor intercede with Me, for I do not hear you.
१६यिर्मया, तुला सांगतो, या लोकांसाठी प्रार्थना करु नकोस आणि त्यांच्यासाठी याचना व आळवणीही करु नकोस किंवा त्यांच्या मदतीकरिता मला विनवू नकोस. कारण मी तुझी प्रार्थना ऐकणार नाही.
17 Are you not seeing what they are doing In cities of Judah, and in streets of Jerusalem?
१७ते लोक यहूदा शहरात, आणि यरूशलेमेच्या रस्त्यावर ते काय करीत आहेत हे तुला दिसत नाही काय?
18 The sons are gathering wood, And the fathers are causing the fire to burn, And the women are kneading dough, To make cakes to the queen of the heavens, And to pour out drink-offerings to other gods, So as to provoke Me to anger.
१८मला संताप आणावा म्हणून मुले लाकडे गोळा करत आहेत आणि वडील सरपण पेटवत आहे. स्त्रिया आकाशाच्या राणीसाठी कणीक मळत आहे आणि इतर दैवतांना अर्पण करण्यासाठी म्हणून पेयार्पणे ओतत आहेत.
19 Are they provoking Me to anger?” A declaration of YHWH, “Is it not themselves, For the shame of their own faces?”
१९परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, ते मला राग आणतात काय? “ते स्वत: लाच संताप आणत आहेत. म्हणजे त्यांच्यावर लाज यावी.
20 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: “Behold, My anger and My fury is poured out on this place, On man, and beast, and on tree of the field, And on fruit of the ground, And it has burned, and it is not quenched.”
२०यास्तव परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, मी या जागेवर माझा संताप मनुष्यांवर, प्राण्यांवर, झाडांवर आणि पिकांवर येईल, तो जाळून टाकणार आणि कोणीही तो विझवू शकणार नाही.”
21 Thus said YHWH of Hosts, God of Israel: “Add your burnt-offerings to your sacrifices and eat flesh.
२१सेनाधीश परमेश्वर, इस्राएलचा देव असे म्हणतो, तुम्ही आपली होमार्पणे आपल्या यज्ञास जोडा आणि मांस खा.
22 For I did not speak with your fathers, Nor did I command them in the day of My bringing them out of the land of Egypt, Concerning the matters of burnt-offering and sacrifice,
२२कारण मी जेव्हा तुमच्या पूर्वजांना मिसरमधून बाहेर आणले, तेव्हा मी त्यांच्या कडे काहीएक मागीतले नाही, मी त्यांना होमार्पणे आणि यज्ञ यांबद्दल आज्ञा दिली नाही.
23 But this thing I commanded them, saying, Listen to My voice, And I have been to you for God, And you are to Me for a people, And have walked in all the way that I command you, So that it is well for you.
२३मी त्यांना फक्त पुढील आज्ञा दिली. माझी आज्ञा पाळा मग मी तुमचा देव होईन व तुम्ही माझे लोक व्हाल. तर मी आज्ञा केलेल्या सर्व मार्गात चाला, म्हणजे तुमचे चांगले होईल.
24 And they have not listened, nor inclined their ear, And they walk in the counsels, [And] in the stubbornness, of their evil hearts, And are backward and not forward.
२४पण तुमच्या पूर्वजांनी माझे ऐकले नाही. ते त्यांच्या दुष्ट अंतःकरणाच्या, त्यांच्या स्वतःच्या हट्टी योजनांनुसार जगले. म्हणून ते पुढे येण्याऐवजी मागे गेले.
25 Even from the day when your fathers Went out of the land of Egypt until this day, I send all My servants the prophets to you, Daily rising early and sending,
२५तुमच्या पूर्वजांनी मिसर सोडला त्या दिवसापासून आजवर मी माझे सेवक तुमच्याकडे पाठवले आहेत. माझे सेवक संदेष्टे आहेत. मी पुन्हा पुन्हा त्यांना तुमच्याकडे पाठवले.
26 And they have not listened to Me, Nor inclined their ear—and they harden their neck, They have done evil above their fathers.
२६पण त्यांनी माझे ऐकले नाही, त्यांनी लक्ष दिले नाही. त्यांनी आपली मान ताठ केली. ते त्यांच्या पूर्वजांपेक्षा अधिक दुष्ट होते
27 And you have spoken all these words to them, And they do not listen to you, And you have called to them, And they do not answer you.
२७“तर त्यांना हे वचन सांगितले तरी ते तुझे ऐकणार नाहीत. तू त्यांना या गोष्टी घोषीत केल्या तरी ते तुला उत्तर देणार नाहीत.
28 And you have said to them: This [is] the nation that has not listened, To the voice of its God YHWH, Nor have they accepted instruction, Steadfastness has perished, Indeed, it has been cut off from their mouth.
२८म्हणून तू त्यांना पुढील गोष्टी सांग. ज्या राष्ट्रांने परमेश्वराचे म्हणजेच त्यांच्या देवाच्या आज्ञा पाळल्या नाहीत आणि शिक्षा घेतली नाही, ते हेच आहे. सत्यता ही त्यांच्या मुखातून छेदून टाकलेली आहे.
29 Cut off your crown, and cast [it] away, And lift up lamentation on high places, For YHWH has rejected, And He leaves the generation of His wrath.
२९हे यरूशलेमे, तुझे केस कापून दूर फेकून दे. उजाड डोंगरमाथ्यावर जाऊन शोकगीत गा. कारण परमेश्वराने रागाच्या भरात या पिढीला नाकारले आणि सोडले आहे.
30 For the sons of Judah Have done evil in My eyes,” A declaration of YHWH, “They have set their abominations in the house On which My Name is called—to defile it,
३०कारण परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, यहूदाच्या लोकांस पापे करताना मी पाहिले आहे.” त्यांनी वापरण्यात नसलेल्या गोष्टी, ज्या घराला माझे नाव आहे, ते भ्रष्ट करायला ठेवल्या आहेत.
31 And have built the high places of Tophet, That [are] in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, To burn their sons and their daughters with fire, Which I did not command, Nor did it come up on My heart.
३१आणि त्यांनी बेन हिन्नोमच्या दरीत तोफेतची उच्चस्थाने बांधली आहेत. त्याठिकाणी ते स्वत: च्या मुलामुलींना अग्नीत जाळण्यासाठी देत असत. अशी आज्ञा मी दिलेली नाही आणि असे काही माझ्या मनातही आले नाही.
32 Therefore, behold, days are coming,” A declaration of YHWH, “And it is no longer said, The Tophet, And, Valley of the Son of Hinnom, But, Valley of the Slaughter, And they have buried in Tophet—without place.
३२परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, पाहा, असे दिवस येत आहेत. “पुन्हा कधीही तोफेत व बेन हिन्नोमची दरी असे म्हटले जाणार नाही, तर तिला ते संहाराची दरी म्हणतील. की आणखी एका मृतालाही पुरण्यास जागा राहणार नाही इतकी वेळ येईपर्यंत ते तोफेतमध्ये मृतांना पुरतील.
33 And the carcass of this people has been for food To a bird of the heavens, and to a beast of the earth, And there is none troubling.
३३प्रेते आकाशातील पक्ष्यांचे आणि पृथ्वीवरील पशूस अन्न असे होतील. आणि त्यांना हाकलायला तेथे कोणीही नसेल.
34 And I have caused to cease from cities of Judah, And from streets of Jerusalem, The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, Voice of bridegroom, and voice of bride, For the land becomes a desolation!”
३४यहूदाच्या गावांतील व यरूशलेमेच्या रस्त्यांवरील उल्हासाच्या व आनंदाच्या कल्लोळांचा मी शेवट करीन. वधू वरांचा शब्द उमटणार नाही, कारण भूमी ओसाड होईल.”
