Jeremiah 6
1 “Strengthen yourselves, sons of Benjamin, From the midst of Jerusalem, And blow a horn in Tekoa, And lift up a flame over Beth-Haccerem, For evil has been seen from the north, And great destruction.
১“হে বিন্যামীনৰ সন্তান সকল, তোমালোকে যিৰূচালেমৰ মাজৰ পৰা ৰক্ষাৰ পাবৰ বাবে পলোৱা, আৰু তকোৱাত শিঙা বজোৱা। আৰু বৈৎহক্কেৰমত এক নিচান তোলা; কিয়নো উত্তৰ ফালৰ পৰা এক অমঙ্গল আৰু মহাসংহাৰে দেখা দিছে।
2 I have cut off the lovely and delicate one, The daughter of Zion.
২সুন্দৰী আৰু আলসুৱা চিয়োন জীয়াৰীক মই সংহাৰ কৰিম।
3 Shepherds and their droves come to her, They have struck tents by her all around, They have each fed [in] his own station.”
৩মেৰ-ছাগ ৰখীয়াবোৰে নিজ নিজ জাক লগত লৈ তাইৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিব; তেওঁলোকে তাইৰ বিৰুদ্ধে চাৰিওফালে নিজ নিজ তম্বু তৰিব, আৰু প্ৰতিজনে নিজ নিজ ঠাইত চৰিব।
4 “Sanctify the battle against her, Rise, and we go up at noon. Woe to us, for the day has turned, For the shades of evening are stretched out,
৪তোমালোকে তাইৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধৰ আয়োজন কৰা। “আমি উঠি দুপৰীয়া যাত্ৰা কৰোঁহক। কি দুখৰ বিষয়! চোৱা, দিনৰ শেষ হৈছে, এনে কি, সন্ধিয়া বেলাৰ ছাঁ দীঘলীয়া হৈছে।
5 Rise, and we go up by night, And we destroy her palaces.”
৫আমি উঠি ৰাতি যাত্ৰা কৰি তাইৰ অট্ৰালিকাবোৰ নষ্ট কৰোঁহক।”
6 For thus said YHWH of Hosts: “Cut down her wood, And pour out a mound against Jerusalem, She [is] the city to be inspected, She [is] full of oppression in her midst.
৬কিয়নো বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এইদৰে কৈছে: তোমালোকে কাঠ কাটি যিৰূচালেমৰ অহিতে দ’ম বান্ধা। সেয়ে দণ্ড পাবলগীয়া নগৰী; তাৰ মাজত সম্পূৰ্ণ অত্যাচাৰ আছে।
7 As the digging of a well, is [for] its waters, So she has dug [for] her wickedness, Violence and spoil is heard in her, Sickness and striking [are] continually before My face.
৭যেনকৈ ভুমুকে নিজৰ শীতল পানী উলিয়াই থাকে, তেনেকৈ তাই নিজৰ দুষ্টতা উলিয়াই থাকে। তাইৰ মাজত অত্যাচাৰ আৰু লুটৰ কথা শুনা যায়; নৰিয়া পৰা আৰু ঘা লগা সদায় মোৰ চকুত পৰে।
8 Be instructed, O Jerusalem, Lest My soul be alienated from you, Lest I make you a desolation, A land [that is] not inhabited.”
৮হে যিৰূচালেম, সতৰ্ক হোৱা, নহ’লে মোৰ মন তোমাৰ পৰা নিলগত হব; নহ’লে মই তোমাক উচ্ছন্ন ঠাই আৰু নিবাসীহীন দেশ কৰিম।
9 Thus said YHWH of Hosts: “They surely glean, as a vine, the remnant of Israel, Put your hand back, as a gatherer to the baskets.”
৯বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: যে তেওঁলোকে দ্ৰাক্ষাফলৰ দৰে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ অৱশিষ্টখিনি সম্পূৰ্ণকৈ গোটাব। দ্ৰাক্ষাগুটি চপাওঁতা জনৰ নিচিনা তুমি বাৰে বাৰে পাচিলৈ হাত নিয়া।
10 To whom do I speak, and testify, and they hear? Behold, their ear [is] uncircumcised, And they are not able to attend. Behold, a word of YHWH has been to them for a reproach, They do not delight in it.
১০তোমালোকে শুনিবৰ কাৰণে মই কাৰ আগত কম, আৰু সাক্ষ্য দিম? চোৱা, তেওঁলোকৰ কাণ অচুন্নৎ, তেওঁলোকে শুনিব নোৱাৰে; চোৱা! যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য তেওঁলোকৰ ধিক্কাৰৰ বিষয় হৈছে; তেওঁলোকে তাত একো সন্তোষ নাপায়।
11 And I have been filled with the fury of YHWH (I have been weary of containing), “To pour [it] on the suckling in the street, And on the assembly of youths together, For even husband with wife are captured, [The] elderly with one full of days,
১১এই হেতুকে মই যিহোৱাৰ ক্ৰোধেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ হৈছোঁ; মই তাক আটক কৰি ৰাখিবলৈ ক্লান্ত হৈছোঁ। আলিত শিশুসকলৰ ওপৰত, আৰু ডেকাসকলৰ সভাৰ ওপৰত তাক একেবাৰে ঢালি দিয়া। কিয়নো ভাৰ্য্যাৰে সৈতে স্বামী, সম্পূৰ্ণ আয়ুসপ্ৰাপ্ত লোকৰ সৈতে বৃদ্ধ, সকলোকে ধৰা যাব।
12 And their houses have been turned to others, Fields and wives together, For I stretch out My hand against the inhabitants of the land,” A declaration of YHWH.
১২তেওঁলোকৰ ঘৰবোৰ, পথাৰবোৰ আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ মহিলাসকলক অন্যক দিয়া যাব। কাৰণ যিহোৱাই কৈছে, মই দেশনিবাসীসকলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে মোৰ হাত মেলিম।
13 “For from their least to their greatest, Everyone is gaining dishonest gain, And from prophet even to priest, Everyone is dealing falsely,
১৩কিয়নো তেওঁলোকৰ সৰুৰ পৰা বৰলৈকে প্ৰতিজন লোভত আসক্ত, আৰু ভাববাদীৰ পৰা পুৰোহিতলৈকে প্ৰতিজনে প্ৰবঞ্চনা কাৰ্য কৰে।
14 And they heal the breach of the daughter of My people slightly, Saying, Peace, peace! And there is no peace.
১৪যেতিয়া কোনো ‘শান্তি! নাই, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে শান্তি! বুলি কৈ মোৰ প্ৰজাসকলৰ ঘা সামান্যৰূপে সুস্থ কৰিলে।
15 They were ashamed when they did abomination! Indeed, they are not at all ashamed, Indeed, they have not known blushing, Therefore they fall among those falling, In the time I have inspected them, They stumble,” said YHWH.
১৫তেওঁলোক ঘিণলগীয়া কাৰ্য কৰাত তেওঁলোকে লাজ পাওক ছাৰি মুখ বিবৰ্ণ কৰিবলৈ জনা নাই; সেই কাৰণে তেওঁলোকে পতিত হোৱা লোকসকলৰ মাজত পতিত হব। যিহোৱাই কৈছে, মই তেওঁলোকক দণ্ড দিয়াৰ সময়ত তেওঁলোকে উজুটি খাই পৰিব।”
16 Thus said YHWH: “Stand by the ways and see, and ask for paths of old, Where [is] this—the good way? And go in it, And find rest for yourselves. And they say, We do not go.
১৬যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: যে, তোমালোকে চাৰিআলিৰ মূৰত থিয় হৈ চোৱা; আৰু প্ৰাচীন পথবোৰৰ বিষয়ে সোধা, ‘উত্তম পথ কোনটো? আৰু তাত চলা; তাতে তোমালোকৰ প্ৰাণত বিশ্ৰাম পাবলৈ এটি ঠাই বিচাৰি লোৱা; কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, আমি তাত নচলোঁ।
17 And I have raised up watchmen for you, Attend to the voice of the horn. And they say, We do not attend.
১৭শিঙাৰ শব্দলৈ কাণ পাতিবা বুলি কৈ, মই তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত প্ৰহৰীবোৰ নিযুক্ত কৰিলোঁ; কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “আমি কাণ নাপাতিম।”
18 Therefore hear, O nations, and know, O congregation, That which [is] on them.
১৮এই হেতুকে হে জাতি সমূহ, শুনা! হে মণ্ডলী, তেওঁলোকৰ অন্তৰত কি আছে, তাক বুজা।
19 Hear, O earth, behold, I am bringing evil on this people, The fruit of their plans, For they gave no attention to My words, And My law—they kick against it.
১৯শুনা, হে পৃথিৱী! চোৱা, মই এই জাতিৰ ওপৰত অমঙ্গল ঘটাম, তেওঁলোকৰ কল্পনাবোৰৰ ফল দিম। কিয়নো তেওঁলোকে মোৰ বাক্যলৈ কাণ দিয়া নাই, আৰু মোৰ ব্যৱস্থা অগ্ৰাহ্য কৰিলে।
20 Why [is] this to Me? Frankincense comes from Sheba, And the sweet cane from a far-off land, Your burnt-offerings [are] not for acceptance, And your sacrifices have not been sweet to Me.”
২০চিবাৰ পৰা মোৰ ওচৰলৈ কুন্দুৰু, আৰু দূৰ দেশৰ পৰা সুগন্ধি বচ কি অভিপ্ৰায়েৰে আহিছে? তোমালোকৰ হোম-বলিবোৰ গ্ৰহণীয় নহয়, নাইবা তোমালোকৰ মঙ্গলাৰ্থক বলি মোৰ সন্তোষজনক নহয়।
21 Therefore, thus said YHWH: “Behold, I give stumbling blocks to this people, And fathers and sons have stumbled against them together, The neighbor and his friend perish.”
২১এই হেতুকে যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: চোৱা, মই এই জাতিৰ আগত উজুটি খোৱা মূঢ়া থম; তেতিয়া বাপেক আৰু পুতেকহঁতে একে সময়ত তাত উজুটি খাই পৰিব। ওচৰ-চুবুৰীয়া আৰু তাৰ বন্ধু বিনষ্ট হ’ব।
22 Thus said YHWH: “Behold, a people has come from a north country, And a great nation is stirred up from the sides of the earth.
২২যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: চোৱা, উত্তৰ দেশৰ পৰা এক জাতি আহিছে, পৃথিৱীৰ অন্তভাগৰ পৰা এক মহাজাতি উত্তেজিত হৈছে।
23 They take hold of bow and javelin, It [is] fierce, and they have no mercy, Their voice sounds as a sea, And they ride on horses, Set in array as a man of war, Against you, O daughter of Zion.”
২৩তেওঁলোকে ধনু আৰু বৰছা ধৰিব। তেওঁলোক নিষ্ঠুৰ আৰু দয়াহীন; তেওঁলোকৰ শব্দ সমুদ্ৰৰ গৰ্জ্জনৰ নিচিনা, আৰু তেওঁলোক ঘোঁৰাত উঠে; হে চিয়োন-জীয়াৰী, তোমাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে তেওঁলোক প্ৰতিজনে যুদ্ধাৰুৰ দৰে সাজু হৈ আছে।
24 We have heard its sound, our hands have been feeble, Distress has seized us, pain as of a travailing woman.
২৪আমি তেওঁলোকৰ যশস্যা শুনিছোঁ। আমাৰ হাত দুৰ্ব্বল হ’ল। যাতনাই, প্ৰসৱকাৰীণীৰ বেদনাৰ দৰে বেদনাই আমাক ধৰিছে।
25 Do not go forth to the field, And do not walk in the way, For the enemy has a sword, Fear [is] all around.
২৫পথাৰলৈ নাযাবা, আৰু ৰাজআলিত অহা-যোৱা নকৰিবা, কিয়নো শত্ৰূ তৰোৱাল, চাৰিওফালে ত্ৰাসৰ সৃষ্টি কৰি আছে।
26 O daughter of my people, Gird on sackcloth, And roll yourself in ashes, Make mourning [as for] an only one, A most bitter lamentation, For the spoiler suddenly comes against us.
২৬হে মোৰ জাতিস্বৰূপা জীয়াৰী, কঁকালত চট বান্ধা, আৰু ছাইত বাগৰা; একেটি পুত্ৰৰ মৃত্যুৰ বাবে শোক কৰাৰ দৰে শোক কৰা। আৰু অত্যন্ত বিলাপ কৰা, কিয়নো বিনষ্ট কৰোঁতাই অকস্মাতে আমাৰ ওপৰত আক্ৰমণ চলাব।
27 “I have given you a watchtower, A fortress among My people, And you know, and have tried their way.
২৭মোৰ প্ৰজাসকলৰ পথ পৰীক্ষা কৰি জানিবৰ বাবে, মই তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত তোমাক পৰীক্ষক কৰি দুৰ্গস্বৰূপে স্থাপন কৰিলোঁ।
28 All of them are turned aside by apostates, Walking slanderously—bronze and iron, All of them are corrupters.
২৮তেওঁলোক সকলোৱেই অতিশয় বিদ্ৰোহী আৰু পৰচৰ্চ্চাকাৰী। তেওঁলোক পিতল আৰু লোহাস্বৰূপ; তেওঁলোক সকলো দুৰাচাৰী।
29 The bellows have been burned, The lead has been consumed by fire, A refiner has refined in vain, And the wicked have not been drawn away.
২৯ভাতীয়ে বৰকৈ তাও দিছে; সীহ জুইত নষ্ট হৈছে; লোকে মিছাকৈয়ে খপি থাকিছে; কিয়নো ভাঁজস্বৰূপ দুষ্টবোৰক বাহিৰ কৰা নাযায়।
30 They have called them rejected silver, For YHWH has kicked against them!”
৩০যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোকক অগ্ৰাহ্য কৰা বাবে, মানুহে তেওঁলোকক “পেলনীয়া ৰূপ” বুলিব’!”
