Jeremiah 36
1 And it comes to pass, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, this word has been to Jeremiah from YHWH, saying,
१यहूदाचा राजा योशीया याचा मुलगा यहोयाकीम याच्या कारकिर्दीच्या चौथ्या वर्षात असे झाले की, यिर्मयाकडे परमेश्वरापासून वचन आले. ते म्हणाले,
2 “Take a roll of a scroll to yourself, and you have written on it all the words that I have spoken to you concerning Israel, and concerning Judah, and concerning all the nations, from the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah, even to this day;
२तू आपणासाठी गुंडाळी घे आणि यहूदा, इस्राएल आणि इतर राष्ट्रे यांच्याविषयी मी तुला सांगितलेले सर्व वचने त्यावर लिही. योशीयाच्या दिवसापासून आतापर्यंत मी तुला सांगितलेली प्रत्येकगोष्ट लिही.
3 perhaps the house of Israel so hears all the evil that I am thinking of doing to them, so that they each turn back from his evil way, and I have been propitious to their iniquity, and to their sin.”
३कदाचित यहूदाचे लोक मी जे अरिष्ट त्यांच्यावर आणण्याचे योजले आहे, ते ऐकतील. कदाचित प्रत्येकजण आपल्या कुमार्गापासून वळेल, मग मी त्यांच्या अन्यायाची व पापांची क्षमा करीन.
4 And Jeremiah calls Baruch son of Neriah, and Baruch writes from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of YHWH, that He has spoken to him, on a roll of a scroll.
४मग यिर्मयाने नेरीयाचा मुलगा बारूख याला बोलावले आणि परमेश्वराने त्याच्याशी बोललेली सर्व वचने यिर्मयाने सांगितली व बारूखाने पटावर लिहून काढली.
5 And Jeremiah commands Baruch, saying, “I am restrained, I am not able to enter the house of YHWH;
५पुढे यिर्मयाने बारूखाला आज्ञा दिली. तो म्हणाला, “मला मनाई आहे आणि मी परमेश्वराच्या घरात जाऊ शकत नाही.
6 but you have entered—and you have read in the scroll that you have written from my mouth, the words of YHWH, in the ears of the people, in the house of YHWH, in the day of the fast, and you also read them in the ears of all Judah who are coming in from their cities;
६म्हणून तू जा आणि मी सांगितल्याप्रमाणे तू जे पटावर लिहीले ते वाच. परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरात उपवासाच्या दिवशी, लोकांस ऐकू येतील आणि यहूदा नगरांतून आलेल्या सर्व लोकांस ऐकू येतील अशी वाचून दाखव.
7 perhaps their supplication so falls before YHWH, and they each turn back from his evil way, for the anger and the fury that YHWH has spoken concerning this people [is] great.”
७कदाचित् ते परमेश्वरापुढे आपली दयेची विनंती सादर करतील. कदाचित प्रत्येक व्यक्ती आपल्या कुमार्गापासून वळेल, कारण परमेश्वराचा जो क्रोध व कोप या लोकांविरूद्ध सांगितला आहे तो भयंकर आहे.”
8 And Baruch son of Neriah does according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, to read in the scroll the words of YHWH in the house of YHWH.
८म्हणून यिर्मयाने संदेष्ट्याने नेरीयाचा मुलगा बारूख याला जे आज्ञापिले होते ती प्रत्येकगोष्ट केली. त्याने परमेश्वराची वचने त्या गुंडाळीतून मोठ्याने परमेश्वराच्या घरात वाचली.
9 And it comes to pass, in the fifth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, they proclaimed a fast before YHWH to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people who are coming in from cities of Judah to Jerusalem;
९योशीयाचा पुत्र यहोयाकीम राजाच्या कारकिर्दीच्या पाचव्या वर्षाच्या नवव्या महिन्यात यरूशलेमेतल्या सर्व लोकांनी व जे सर्व लोक यहूदाच्या नगरांतून यरूशलेमेस आले त्यांनीही परमेश्वराच्या आदरासाठी उपासाची घोषणा केली.
10 and Baruch reads in the scroll the words of Jeremiah in the house of YHWH, in the chamber of Gemariah son of Shaphan the scribe, in the higher court, at the opening of the New Gate of the house of YHWH, in the ears of all the people.
१०तेव्हा बारूखाने मोठ्याने यिर्मयाची गुंडाळीवरील वचने परमेश्वराच्या घरात शाफान लेखकाचा मुलगा गमऱ्या याच्या खोलीत, वरील अंगणात, नव्या दाराच्या प्रवेशाजवळ सर्व लोकांच्या कानी पडतील अशी वाचली.
11 And Michaiah son of Gemariah, son of Shaphan, hears all the words of YHWH from off the scroll,
११आता शाफानाचा मुलगा गमऱ्या, याचा मुलगा मीखाया परमेश्वराची सर्व वचने त्या पुस्तकातून ऐकली.
12 and he goes down [to] the house of the king, to the chamber of the scribe, and behold, there all the heads are sitting: Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan son of Acbor, and Gemariah son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah son of Hananiah, and all the heads.
१२तो खाली राजाच्या घरात चिटणीसाच्या खोलीत गेला. तेव्हा पाहा, सर्व अधिकारी, लेखक अलीशामा, शमायाचा मुलगा दलाया, अखबोरचा मुलगा एलनाथान, शाफानाचा मुलगा गमऱ्या व हनन्याचा मुलगा सिद्कीया आणि सर्व वरिष्ठ अधिकारी तेथे बसले होते.
13 And Micaiah declares to them all the words that he has heard when Baruch reads in the scroll in the ears of the people;
१३तेव्हा बारूख लोकांच्या कानी पडेल असे पुस्तकातून वाचत असताना जी सर्व वचने मीखायाने ऐकली ती त्याने त्यांना कळवली.
14 and all the heads send to Baruch, Jehudi son of Nethaniah, son of Shelemiah, son of Cushi, saying, “Take in your hand the scroll, which you have read in the ears of the people, and come.” And Baruch son of Neriah takes the scroll in his hand and comes to them,
१४मग त्या सर्व अधिकाऱ्यांनी बारूखाकडे कूशीचा मुलगा शलेम्या याचा मुलगा नथन्या याचा मुलगा यहूदी याला पाठवून सांगितले की, “ज्या गुंडाळीतून तू लोकांच्या कानी पडेल असे वाचले ती तू आपल्या हाती घेऊन ये.” नेरीयाचा मुलगा बारूख ती गुंडाळी आपल्या हातात घेऊन त्यांच्याजवळ आला.
15 and they say to him, “Please sit down and read it in our ears,” and Baruch reads [it] in their ears,
१५मग ते त्यास म्हणाले, “खाली बस आणि आम्हास ऐकण्यासाठी वाचून दाखव.” म्हणून बारूखाने तो पट वाचला.
16 and it comes to pass, when they hear all the words, they have been afraid—one to another—and say to Baruch, “We surely declare all these words to the king.”
१६असे झाले की, जेव्हा त्यांनी सर्व वचने ऐकली तेव्हा प्रत्येक मनुष्य भयभीत होऊन एकमेकांकडे वळले. ते बारूखाला म्हणाले, “आम्ही ही सर्व वचने खचित राजाला कळवतो.”
17 And they asked Baruch, saying, “Please declare to us, how did you write all these words from his mouth?”
१७मग ते बारूखाला म्हणाले, “तू यिर्मायाच्या तोंडची सर्व वचने कशी लिहीली, हे आम्हास सांग?”
18 And Baruch says to them, “He pronounces from his mouth all these words to me, and I am writing on the scroll with ink.”
१८बारूख त्यांना म्हणाला, “त्याने ही सर्व वचने मला सांगितली व मी ते शाईने या पटावर लिहिली.”
19 And the heads say to Baruch, “Go, be hidden, you and Jeremiah, and let no one know where you [are].”
१९मग ते अधिकारी बारूखाला म्हणाले, “जा, तू स्वतः आणि यिर्मयासुद्धा लपून राहा. तुम्ही कोठे आहात हे कोणालाही कळू देऊ नका.”
20 And they go to the king, to the court, and they have laid up the scroll in the chamber of Elishama the scribe, and they declare all the words in the ears of the king.
२०मग त्यांनी ती गुंडाळी अलीशामा चिटणीसाच्या खोलीत ठेवली आणि ते चौकात राजाकडे गेले व त्यांनी त्यास ही वचने कळवली.
21 And the king sends Jehudi to take the scroll, and he takes it out of the chamber of Elishama the scribe, and Jehudi reads it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the heads who are standing by the king;
२१राजाने यहूदीला ती गुंडाळी आणण्यासाठी पाठविले. यहूदीने अलीशामा चिटणीसाच्या खोलीतून गुंडाळी घेतली. नंतर यहूदीने तो राजाला व त्याच्या बाजूला उभ्या असलेल्या अधिकाऱ्यांना मोठ्याने वाचून दाखविला.
22 and the king is sitting in the winter-house, in the ninth month, and the stove is burning before him,
२२आता तो नवव्या महिना होता म्हणून राजा हिवाळ्याच्या घरात बसला होता आणि त्याच्यासमोर शेगडी पेटलेली होती.
23 and it comes to pass, when Jehudi reads three or four leaves, he cuts it out with the scribe’s knife, and has cast [it] into the fire that [is] on the stove, until the consumption of all the scroll by the fire that [is] on the stove.
२३तेव्हा असे झाले की, यहूदीने तीन चार पाने वाचल्यावर राजाने चाकूने ते कापले आणि ती सर्व गुंडाळी शेगडीतल्या विस्तवात नष्ट होऊन जाईपर्यंत त्याने त्यामध्ये फेकून दिली.
24 And the king and all his servants who are hearing all these words have not been afraid, nor torn their garments.
२४परंतु राजाने व त्याच्या सेवकांनी ही सर्व वचने ऐकले तरी ते घाबरले नाहीत, त्यांनी आपले वस्त्रेही फाडली नाहीत.
25 And also Elnathan, and Delaiah, and Gemariah have interceded with the king not to burn the scroll, and he has not listened to them.
२५राजाने ती गुंडाळी जाळू नये म्हणून एलनाथान, दलाया व गमऱ्या यांनी त्यास विनंती केली, पण राजाने त्यांचे ऐकले नाही.
26 And the king commands Jerahmeel son of Hammelek, and Seraiah son of Azriel, and Shelemiah son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet, and YHWH hides them.
२६यहोयाकीम राजाने लेखक बारूखाला व यिर्मया संदेष्ट्याला अटक करण्यासाठी हम्मेलेखाचा मुलगा यरहमेल व अज्रीएलाचा मुलगा सराया व अब्देलचा मुलगा शलेम्या यांना आज्ञा केली. पण त्यांना परमेश्वराने लपविले होते.
27 And there is a word of YHWH to Jeremiah—after the king’s burning the scroll, even the words that Baruch has written from the mouth of Jeremiah—saying:
२७नंतर राजाने गुंडाळी व जी वचने बारूखाने यिर्मयाच्या मुखापासून ऐकून लिहीली होती ती जाळल्यावर यिर्मयाकडे परमेश्वराचे वचन आले. ते म्हणाले,
28 “Turn, take another scroll to yourself, and write on it all the former words that were on the first scroll that Jehoiakim king of Judah burned,
२८परत जा, तू आपल्यासाठी दुसरी गुंडाळी घे आणि जी मुळची वचने पहिल्या गुंडाळीत होती, जी यहूदाचा राजा यहोयाकीम याने जाळली, ती सर्व त्यामध्ये लिही.
29 and say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus said YHWH: You have burned this scroll, saying, Why have you written on it, saying, The king of Babylon surely comes in, and has destroyed this land, and caused man and beast to cease from it?
२९मग तू यहूदाचा राजा यहोयाकीम ह्याला सांग परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, तू ही गुंडाळी जाळली व म्हणालास, खचित “बाबेलाचा राजा येईल आणि या देशाचा नाश करील व यातले माणसे व पशू या दोघांचाही नाश करील, असे हिच्यात तू का लिहीले आहे?”
30 Therefore, thus said YHWH concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah: He has none sitting on the throne of David, and his carcass is cast out to heat by day, and to cold by night;
३०म्हणून, यहूदाचा राजा यहोयाकीम याच्याविषयी परमेश्वर म्हणतो, त्यास दावीदाच्या सिंहासनावर बसायला कोणी राहणार नाही. तर त्याचे प्रेत दिवसातल्या उन्हात आणि रात्रीतल्या थंडीत बाहेर टाकण्यात येईल.
31 and I have charged on him, and on his seed, and on his servants, their iniquity; and I have brought in on them, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the men of Judah, all the evil that I have spoken to them, and they did not listen.”
३१कारण मी त्याला, त्याच्या वंशजाला व त्याच्या सेवकांना त्यांच्या अन्यायामुळे मी शिक्षा करीन आणि जे सर्व अरिष्ट मी त्यांच्यावर व यरूशलेमेमध्ये राहणाऱ्यांवर व यहूदाच्या प्रत्येक व्यक्तीवर आणीन.
32 And Jeremiah has taken another scroll, and gives it to Baruch son of Neriah the scribe, and he writes on it from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim king of Judah has burned in the fire; and again there were added to them many words like these.
३२मग यिर्मयाने दुसरी गुंडाळी घेतली व ती नेरीयाचा मुलगा बारूख लेखकाला दिली. आणि जी गुंडाळी यहूदाचा राजा यहोयाकीम ह्याने अग्नीत जाळली होती तिच्यातील सर्व वचने त्याने यिर्मयाच्या तोंडून ऐकून तिच्यात लिहीली. आणखी त्यामध्ये तशाच दुसऱ्या पुष्कळ वचनांची भर घातली.
