Jeremiah 11
1 The word that has been to Jeremiah from YHWH, saying,
१यिर्मयाला परमेश्वराकडून मिळालेले वचन, ते म्हणाले:
2 “Hear the words of this covenant, and you have spoken to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
२“यिर्मया, या कराराची वचने ऐक, आणि यहूदाच्या प्रत्येक मनुष्यास आणि यरूशलेममध्ये राहणाऱ्या हे घोषीत कर.
3 and you have said to them, Thus said YHWH God of Israel: Cursed [is] the man who does not obey the words of this covenant,
३त्यांना असे सांग की, परमेश्वर, इस्राएलचा देव असे म्हणतो ‘जो कोणी या कराराची वचने ऐकत नाही, तो शापित असो.’
4 That I commanded your fathers, In the day of My bringing them out from the land of Egypt, Out of the iron furnace, saying, Listen to My voice, and you have done them, According to all that I command you, And you have been to Me for a people, And I am to you for God,
४तुमच्या पूर्वजांना मिसर देशातून, लोखंडाच्या भट्टीतून बाहेर काढून आणले, त्यावेळी मी त्यांना हा करार आज्ञापिला आणि ही वचने आचरनात आणा, तर तुम्ही माझे व्हाल व मी तुमचा देव होईन.
5 In order to establish the oath that I have sworn to your fathers, To give to them a land flowing with milk and honey, as this day.” And I answer and say, “Amen, O YHWH.”
५तुमच्या पूर्वजांना दिलेल्या वचनाकरिता मी हे करीन, दूध व मध यांची रेलचेल असलेली सुपीक भूमी द्यायचे मी त्यांना कबूल केले होते. त्याच भूमीवर तुम्ही आता राहत आहात.” तेव्हा मी म्हणालो होय, परमेश्वरा!
6 And YHWH says to me, “Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear the words of this covenant, And you have done them.
६परमेश्वर मला म्हणाला, “यहूदाच्या शहरांतून व यरूशलेमेच्या रस्त्यांतून हे वचन घोषीत कर, कराराची वचने ऐका आणि त्यांचे पालन करा.
7 For I certainly testified against your fathers, In the day of My bringing them up out of the land of Egypt—until this day, Rising early and testifying, saying, Listen to My voice,
७कारण मी त्यांना मिसरच्या बाहेर काढले त्या दिवसापासून या दिवसापर्यंत मी तुमच्या पूर्वजांना इशारा देत आलो आहे की माझा शब्द ऐका.
8 And they have not listened nor inclined their ear, And they each walk in the stubbornness of their evil heart, And I bring on them all the words of this covenant, That I commanded to do, and they did not.”
८पण त्यांनी माझे ऐकले नाही आणि लक्ष दिले नाही. ते दुराग्रही हृदयाचे बनले आणि आवडेल तेच त्यांनी केले. म्हणून मी त्यांना माझ्या आज्ञा पाळण्यास सांगितले, पण त्यांनी ते ऐकले नाही, म्हणून करारात उल्लेखलेल्या सर्व शापित गोष्टी मला त्यांच्याबाबत कराव्या लागल्या.”
9 And YHWH says to me: “A conspiracy is found in the men of Judah, And in the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
९नंतर परमेश्वर मला म्हणाला, “यहूदातील आणि यरूशलेममधील लोकांमध्ये कट सापडला आहे.
10 They have turned back to the iniquities of their first fathers, Who refused to hear My words, And they have gone after other gods to serve them, The house of Israel and the house of Judah Have made void My covenant that I made with their fathers.”
१०ते त्यांच्या पूर्वजांनी केलेल्या पापांकडे वळले आहेत. त्यांच्या पूर्वजांनी माझे ऐकण्याचे नाकारले. त्यांनी दुसऱ्या देवांचे अनुसरण केले. त्यांची पूजा केली. इस्राएल व यहूदाच्या वंशजांनी, त्यांच्या पूर्वजांनी माझ्याशी केलेल्या, कराराचा भंग केला आहे.”
11 Therefore, thus said YHWH: “Behold, I am bringing calamity on them, That they are not able to go out from, And they have cried to Me, And I do not listen to them.
११म्हणून परमेश्वर म्हणतो, मी त्यांना भयंकर संकटात टाकीन, ज्यातून त्यांना सुटका करून घेता येणार नाही. तेव्हा ते मदतीसाठी माझा धावा करतील, पण मी त्यांचे ऐकणार नाही.
12 And the cities of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem have gone, And they have cried to the gods, To whom they are making incense, And they give no deliverance at all to them, In the time of their distress.
१२यहूदातील शहरे व यरूशलेममधील रहिवासी ज्यांना ते अर्पणे देत असत, आणि धूप जाळीत असत, असे ते त्यांच्या देवांकडे आरोळी करतील, पण त्या भयंकर संकटकाळी लोकांस मदत करणे त्या मूर्तीना शक्य होणार नाही.
13 For the number of your cities have been your gods, O Judah, And [for] the number of the streets of Jerusalem You have placed altars to a shameful thing, Altars to make incense to Ba‘al.
१३कारण यहूदा तुझ्या नगरा इतकेच तुझे देव झाले आहेत, आणि तू लज्जास्पद बाल देवाच्या वेद्या, बाल देवाच्या धूप वेद्या, यरूशलेमामधल्या रस्त्यांच्या संख्येइतक्याच केल्या आहेत.
14 And you, you do not pray for this people, Nor do you lift up cry and prayer for them, For I do not listen in the time of their calling to Me for their distress.
१४यिर्मया, तू या लोकांसाठी प्रार्थना करु नकोस आणि त्यांच्यासाठी विनंती करु नकोस. कारण जेव्हा ते दु: खात माझा धावा करतील, तेव्हा मी त्यांचे ऐकणार नाही.
15 What has My beloved to do in My house, Her doing wickedness with many, And does the holy flesh pass over from you? When you do evil, then you exult.
१५“माझ्या प्रिय लोकांनी, ज्यांनी इतके दुष्ट हेतू धरले आहेत, ते माझ्या घरात का आहेत? कारण तुझ्या अर्पणाचे मांस तुझा बचाव करु शकणार नाही, कारण तू वाईट केले आणि नंतर आनंद केला.”
16 An olive, green, beautiful, of good fruit, Has YHWH called your name, At the noise of a great tumult He has kindled fire against it, And its thin branches have been broken.
१६“दिसावयास देखणे असणाऱ्या हिरव्यागार फळाचे जैतूनाचे झाड असे नाव परमेश्वराने तुला दिले होते. पण आता मोठ्या गर्जनेच्या आवाजासहित त्याने त्यावर अग्नी पेटवला आहे. आणि त्याच्या फांद्या तोडल्या आहेत.
17 And YHWH of Hosts, who is planting you, Has spoken calamity concerning you, For the evil of the house of Israel, and of the house of Judah, That they have done to themselves, To provoke Me to anger, to make incense to Ba‘al.”
१७कारण सेनाधीश परमेश्वर, ज्याने तुला लावले आहे, तो तुझ्या विरूद्ध अरिष्ट बोलला आहे. कारण इस्राएल आणि यहूदाच्या लोकांनी कुकर्मे केली. त्यांनी ‘बाल’ देवाला यज्ञ अर्पण केले म्हणून मला राग आला.”
18 And, O YHWH, cause me to know, and I know, Then You have showed me their doings.
१८परमेश्वराने मला या गोष्टींचे ज्ञान दिले. म्हणून मला त्या समजल्या. परमेश्वरा, तू मला त्यांची कृत्ये दाखवली.
19 And I [am] as a trained lamb brought to slaughter, And I have not known That they have devised schemes against me: “We destroy the tree with its food, And cut him off from the land of the living, And his name is not remembered again.”
१९ते माझ्याविरूद्ध योजना आखत आहेत हे मला माहीत नव्हते. मी कत्तल होण्याची वाट पाहणाऱ्या गरीब कोकरासारखा होतो. “आपण या झाडाचा आणि त्याच्या फळांचा नाश करु. आपण त्यास जीवंताच्या देशातून तोडून टाकू म्हणजे त्याचे नाव आठवणीत राहणार नाही.”
20 And O YHWH of Hosts, judging righteousness, Trying reins and heart, I see Your vengeance against them, For I have revealed my cause to You.
२०पण सेनाधीश परमेश्वर, जो तू सत्याने न्याय करतोस, जो तू हृदय व मन पारखतोस. तू त्यांच्यावर केलेला प्रतिकार मी साक्ष देईन, कारण मी आपला वाद तुझ्याजवळ उघड केला आहे.
21 Therefore, thus said YHWH concerning the men of Anathoth, who are seeking your life, saying, “Do not prophesy in the Name of YHWH, and you do not die by our hands.”
२१अनाथोथच्या लोकांबद्दल परमेश्वर या गोष्टी म्हणतो, जे तुझा जीव घेण्यास पाहत आहेत. ते म्हणातात, “परमेश्वराच्या नावावर भविष्यकथन करु नकोस, नाहीतर आम्ही तुला आमच्या हाताने ठार करु.”
22 Therefore, thus said YHWH of Hosts: “Behold, I am seeing after them, The chosen ones die by sword, Their sons and their daughters die by famine,
२२यास्तव सेनाधीश परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, पाहा! “त्यांना मी शिक्षा करीन. त्यांचे तरुण तलवारीने मरण पावतील. त्यांची मुले आणि त्यांच्या मुली दुष्काळाने मरतील.
23 And they have no remnant, For I bring calamity to the men of Anathoth, The year of their inspection!”
२३त्यांच्यातील एकही मनुष्य शिल्लक राहणार नाही. कारण मी अनाथोथच्या लोकांवर वाईट, म्हणजे त्यांच्या शासनाचे वर्ष आणतो.”
