< James 1 >

1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes who are in the dispersion: Greetings!
Yakobo, omugaya wa Nyamuanga na Latabhugenyi Yesu Kristo, ku nganda ekumi nebhili jinu janyalambukile, enibhakesha.
2 Count [it] all joy, my brothers, when you may fall into manifold temptations,
Mubhale ati nibhukondelewe bhwamfu, bhana bhasu, anu omulabha mukusakwa kwa bhulimbaga,
3 knowing that the proof of your faith works endurance,
mumenyati okulegejwa kwe likilisha lyemwe elibhayana okwigumisilisha.
4 and let the endurance have a perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
Musige obhwigumilisha bhukumishe emilimu jae, koleleki ati mukomele mwiimaliliye, na bhanu mutakugelukilwa chinu chonachona.
5 And if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask from God, who is giving to all generously, and not reproaching, and it will be given to him;
Nawe agati yemwe omunu akenda obhwengeso, abhusabhwe okusoka ku Nyamuanga, unu kasosha kwelyenda kubhanu bhona abhamusabhwa, na kabhayana obhwengeso.
6 but let him ask in faith, doubting nothing, for he who is doubting has been like a wave of the sea, driven by wind and tossed;
Nawe sabha kwelikilisha, utetimata, kulwokubha unu ketimata ali lwa likonjo mubhusibha, agagegibhwa no
7 for do not let that man suppose that he will receive anything from the LORD—
muyaga nigeswa enu neyo. Omunu lwoyo atajakwiganilishati kalamilwa lisabhwa lyae okusoka ku Latabhugenyi;
8 a soul-split man [is] unstable in all his ways.
omunu oyo keganilisha kabhili, atali mulengelesi munjila jae jona.
9 And let the brother who is low rejoice in his exaltation,
Owasu omutaka jimwiile ekuye kwo kwimelegulu kwae ingulu,
10 but the rich in his becoming low, because he will pass away as a flower of grass;
omwanya ogwo ogwo owasu omunibhi mu kwikeya kwae, kulwokubha alisokao lwo bhwaso bhwa mwisanga munu kalabha.
11 for the sun rose with the burning heat, and withered the grass, and the flower of it fell, and the beauty of its appearance perished, so also the rich in his way will fade away!
Lisubha eliuluka na libhilabhila lyo okusimagisha ebhiyambwa, no bhwaso obhulagala no bhukonde bhwago nibhufwa. Nikwokutyo kutyo abhanu abhanibhi bhalinyamuka agati ye milimu jebhwe.
12 Blessed [is] the man who endures temptation, because, becoming approved, he will receive the garland of life, which the LORD promised to those loving Him.
Ana libhando omunu unu kekomesha mumalegejo, akamala okusinga lilegejo elyo, kalamila olutenga lwo bhuanga, inu ilagilwe kubhanu abhamwenda Nyamuanga.
13 Let no one who is being tempted say, “I am tempted from God,” for God is not tempted by evils, and Himself tempts no one,
Munu wona wona nasige kwaikati akalegejwa, “Lilegejo linu elisoka ku Nyamuanga,”kulwokubha Nyamuanga atakulegejwa na bhunyamuke, na Nyamuanga omwene atamulegeja wona wona.
14 but each one is tempted, being led away and enticed by his own desires;
Bhuli munu kalegejibhwa no kuligila kwae kubhibhi jinu ejimukongyakongya no kumusila kula.
15 afterward the desire having conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin having been perfected, brings forth death.
Niwo ikeya okuligila kwe chibhibhi nchigega olubhunda, echibhibhi echibhulwa, ne chibhibhi chikakomela munomuno, echiletelela okufwa.
16 Do not be led astray, my beloved brothers.
Bhana bhasu bhendwa, mutajakujigwa.
17 Every good giving, and every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variation, or shadow of turning;
Bhuli chiyanwa chinu chili cha kisi na bhuli chiyanwa chinu chimile echisoka ingulu, echika emwalo okusoka ku Lata wo bhwelu. Sili sili atakuinduka lwa kutyo lilengesi eliinduka.
18 having willed [it], He begot us with a word of truth, for our being a certain first-fruit of His creatures.
Nyamuanga achisolele okuchiyana eswe obhuanga bhwa Ligambo lye chimali, koleleki ati chibhe kuti lwibhulo lwa kwamba agati ye bhimogwa bhyae.
19 So then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger,
Omumenya linu, bhana bhasu bhendwa. Bhuli umwi jimwiile okubhwa mwangu wo kungwa, ataja kubha mwangu wo kuloma no kubhiililwa,
20 for the wrath of a man does not work the righteousness of God;
kulwokubha ebhinyinga bhyo mwana munu bhitakutula kukola obhulengelesi bhwa Nyamuanga.
21 for this reason, having put aside all filthiness and superabundance of evil, receive the implanted word in meekness, that is able to save your souls;
Kulwejo mute alela obhujabhi bhwe echibhibhi no bhunyamuke bhwona bhunu bhuli mbala jona, na kwo bhwololo mulikilishe ligambo linu lyayambilwe munda yemwe, linu lino bhutulo bhwo kuchungula emyoyo jemwe.
22 and become doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves,
Mulikilishe ligambo, mutalyugwala, nimwijiga mumioyo jemwe abhene.
23 because, if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, this one has been like to a man viewing his natural face in a mirror,
Kulwokubha wona wona unu kalyugwa nalema okulikolela omulimu nilwakutyo omunu alelola mwilole obhusu bhwae.
24 for he viewed himself, and has gone away, and immediately he forgot what kind of [man] he was;
Kesusanisha obhusu bhwae, nagenda jae aonao nalabhilwa kutyo kasusa.
25 but he who looked into [the] perfect law—that of liberty, and continued there, not becoming a forgetful hearer, but a doer of work—this one will be blessed in his doing.
Nawe omunu unu kalola kwo bhulengelesi ebhilagilo, echilagilo cho kufung'ama, na komela okuchilubha atali kwa injuno omwene ni mutegelesha unu kalabhilwa, omunu unu ana libhando anu kabha nakola.
26 If anyone thinks to be religious among you, not bridling his tongue, but deceiving his heart, the religion of this one [is] vain;
Ikabha omunu wona wona neganilisha omwene ati ni munu wa dini, nawe atakutula kulutangasha olulimi lwae, kagujiga omwoyo gwae na idini ya ni bhusa.
27 religion pure and undefiled with the God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their tribulation—to keep himself unspotted from the world.
