< James 5 >

1 Go, now, you rich! Weep, howling over your miseries that are coming on [you];
Bhai, nnaino mmanganyanji matajili nngutanje shililo kwa ligongo lya shilaje sha ogoya shipinga kunnjiilanga.
2 your riches have rotted, and your garments have become moth-eaten;
Utajili gwenunji ubholile na nngubho yenunji iligwilwe na mang'ong'ota.
3 your gold and silver have rotted, and the rust of them will be to you for a testimony, and will eat your flesh as fire. You have stored up treasure in the last days!
Shaabhu na ela yenunji ibhishile nkubha, na gwene nkubhago, shigunkong'ondelanje na shiguntaunanje iilu yenunji mbuti moto. Agano mobha ga kumpelo na mmanganyanji launo nnapunjilangape indu.
4 Behold, the reward of the workmen cries out, of those who in-gathered your fields, which has been fraudulently kept back by you, and the exclamations of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the LORD of Hosts;
Nnolanje bhandunji bhakamulangaga maengo mmigunda jenunji bhunkanakwaalipanga, ililo ya bhaunanga inapilikanika, numbe yaishile Bhakulungwa a Nnungu.
5 you lived in luxury on the earth, and were wanton; you nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter;
Mobha gowe nshitamangana pa shilambolyo nkupoka na indu ya nong'a, nikwiijimbaya kwiibhika ukoto kwa lyubha lya ingwa.
6 you condemned—you murdered the righteous; he does not resist you.
Nshikwaukumulanga na kwaabhulaganga bhandunji bhangali ilebho, na wala bhakakombolanga kupwata na mmanganyanji.
7 Be patient, then, brothers, until the coming of the LORD; behold, the farmer expects the precious fruit of the earth, being patient for it, until he may receive rain—early and latter;
Kwa nneyo bhaakulupalila ajangunji, mwiikakatimilanje mpaka pushibhaishe Bhakulungwa. Nnolanje mundu nkulima pa lindilila yalimile itendeshe, anakwikakatimila mpaka pushijiishe ula ja nduluko na janula.
8 you also be patient; establish your hearts, because the coming of the LORD has drawn near;
Nneyo peyo na nkali mmanganyanji nnapinjikwanga kutama nnikwiikakatimilanga na nnikwiishimilikanga na kwiiluma mitima jenunji, pabha Bhakulungwa bhabhandishile kuika.
9 do not murmur against one another, brothers, that you may not be condemned; behold, the Judge has stood before the door.
Bhaakulupalila ajangunji nnainginishilane, nnaukumulwanga na a Nnungu. Nnolanje bhaukumula bhali tome na ika.
10 Brothers, [as] an example of the suffering of evil and of patience, take the prophets who spoke in the Name of the LORD;
Bhaakulupalila ajangunji, mpingangaga kumumanya namna ja kwiipililila na mboteko, nkumbushilanje shibhaashite tendanga ashinkulondola bha a Nnungu bhalunguyenje kwa lina lya Bhakulungwa.
11 behold, we call those who are enduring blessed; you heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the end from the LORD, that the LORD is very compassionate, and pitying.
Tunabheleketa kuti, mbaya bhene bhaipilililenje bhala pabha bhapatilenje mboka. Mpilikenenje ga kwiipililila kwa a Ayubhu, na nshimanyinji shibhatendelwe na Bhakulungwa a Nnungu kumpelo, pabha bhashikola shiya sha kaje na uguja.
12 And before all things, my brothers, do not swear, neither by Heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath, but let your “Yes” be yes, and the “No,” no, that you may not fall under judgment.
Kupunda gowego, bhaakulupalila ajangunji nnalumbilanje kwa a Nnungu eu kwa litaka, wala kwa shindu shina shoshowe. Ikabheje nnjangulanje, “Elo” monaga shindusho sha jangula elo, na “Nng'oope” monaga shindusho sha jangula ng'oope. Penepo nkaukumulwanga na a Nnungu.
13 Does anyone suffer evil among you? Let him pray; is anyone of good cheer? Let him sing psalms;
Bhuli, mundu njenunji mwali nshilaje? Bhai ajuje Nnungu. Bhuli, anaangalala? Bhai ajimbe nyimbo ya lumbilila.
14 is anyone sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, having anointed him with oil, in the Name of the LORD,
Bhuli, mundu munkumbi gwenunji nnwele? Bhai penepo mwaashemanje bhanangulungwa bha likanisha, bhannjujilanje na kumpaka mauta kwa lina lya Bhakulungwa.
15 and the prayer of faith will save the distressed one, and the LORD will raise him up, and if he may have committed sins, they will be forgiven to him.
Kwa nneyo ibhaga kujuga kwabhonji kwa a Nnungu ni kwa ngulupai shikunnamiye nnwele jula, numbe Bhakulungwa shibhannjinule, na monaga akwete ilebho, shibhanneshelele.
16 Be confessing to one another the trespasses, and be praying for one another, that you may be healed; very strong is a working supplication of a righteous man;
Bhai nkolangaga ilebho nng'ungamilenanje mwashayenenji na nnjujilananje nkupinga nnamiywanje. Malomboshelo gaka mundu akwete aki gashikola mashili ga kaje numbe ganapwaa kwa kaje.
17 Elijah was a similar-feeling man as us, and with prayer he prayed—not to rain, and it did not rain on the land three years and six months;
A Eliya pubhaaliji bhandu malinga uwe, gubhaajujile a Nnungu kwa tumbila kuti ula jinanye, gujileshile kunya kwa yaka itatu na miei shita.
18 and again he prayed, and the sky gave rain, and the land brought forth her fruit.
Gubhaajujile a Nnungu kabhili, ula gujinyele kukoposhela kunnungu, litaka gulimeshiye mitipo jakwe.
19 Brothers, if anyone among you may go astray from the truth, and anyone may turn him back,
Bhaakulupalila ajangunji, monaga mundu munkumbi gwenunji aobhiywaga na itendi yangali ya mmbone, na juna annjendelaga nikuntendebhushiya kuitendi ya mmbone kabhili,
20 let him know that he who turned back a sinner from the straying of his way will save a soul from death, and will cover a multitude of sins.
mmumanyanje kuti jwene anshoshiye njakwe kumpanda gwa obha, shantapule nshiwo jwene mundu aobhile, na yambi yaigwinji shiileshelelwe.
