Isaiah 66
1 Thus said YHWH: “The heavens [are] My throne, And the earth My footstool, Where [is] this—the house that you build for Me? And where [is] this—the place—My rest?
੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਵਰਗ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਣ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਚੌਂਕੀ ਹੈ, - ਫੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਭਵਨ ਬਣਾਓਗੇ? ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਰਾਮਗਾਹ ਫੇਰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ?
2 And My hand has made all these, And all these things are,” A declaration of YHWH! “And to this one I look attentively, To the humble and bruised in spirit, And who is trembling at My word.
੨ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਹੱਥ ਨੇ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਬਣ ਗਏ। ਮੈਂ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਜਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ, ਜੋ ਦੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਮਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਕੰਬ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
3 Whoever slaughters the ox strikes a man, Whoever sacrifices the lamb beheads a dog, Whoever is bringing up a present—The blood of a sow, Whoever is making mention of frankincense, Is blessing iniquity. Indeed, they have fixed on their own ways, And their soul has delighted in their abominations.
੩ਬਲ਼ਦ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਲੇਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੁੱਤੇ ਦੀ ਧੌਣ ਭੰਨਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਦੇ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਦਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੂਰ ਦਾ ਲਹੂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਲੁਬਾਨ ਦਾ ਧੁਖਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮੂਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਧੰਨ ਆਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਹਾਂ, ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹ ਚੁਣ ਲਏ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੀਅ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
4 I also—I fix on their distress, And I bring in their fears to them, Because I have called, and there is none answering, I spoke, and they have not listened, And they do evil in My eyes, And on that which I did not desire—fixed.”
੪ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਚੁਣਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੈਅ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮੈਂ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਸੁਣੀ, ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਹੀ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ।
5 Hear a word of YHWH, You who are trembling at His word: “Your brothers who are hating you, Who are driving you out for My Name’s sake, have said, YHWH is honored, and we look on your joy, But they are ashamed.”
੫ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਕੰਬਦੇ ਹੋ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣੋ! ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਭਰਾ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਘਿਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਹੋਵੇ, ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੀਏ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
6 A voice of noise from the city, A voice from the temple, The voice of YHWH, Giving repayment to His enemies.
੬ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਰੌਲ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼, ਹੈਕਲ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ! ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਾ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ!
7 “Before she is pained she has brought forth, Before a pang comes to her, She has delivered a male.
੭ਪੀੜਾਂ ਲੱਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਦਰਦ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜੰਮਿਆ।
8 Who has heard anything like this? Who has seen anything like these? Is earth caused to bring forth in one day? Is a nation born at once? For she has been pained, Zion has also borne her sons.
੮ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੀ? ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵੇਖੀਆਂ? ਭਲਾ, ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਦੇਸ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਜਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਪਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਜੰਮ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੀੜਾਂ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
9 Do I bring to the birth, And not cause to bring forth?” says YHWH, “Am I not He who is causing to beget? I have also restrained,” said your God.
੯ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਭਲਾ, ਮੈਂ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਜਨਮਾਵਾਂ? ਜਾਂ ਕੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਜੰਮਣ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਕੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਾਂ? ਤੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
10 “Rejoice with Jerusalem, And be glad in her, all you loving her, Rejoice with her for joy, All you who are mourning for her,
੧੦ਹੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀਓ! ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਹੋਵੋ, ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਅਨੰਦ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਗ-ਬਾਗ ਹੋਵੋ, ਹੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਓ! ਉਸ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾਓ!
11 So that you suckle, and have been satisfied, From the breast of her consolations, So that you wring out, and have delighted yourselves From the abundance of her glory.”
੧੧ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਸੱਲੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੁੱਧੀਆਂ ਚੁੰਘੋ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਜ ਜਾਓ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰੱਜ ਜਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤਾਇਤ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮਗਨ ਕਰੋ।
12 For thus said YHWH: “Behold, I am stretching out to her peace as a river, And the glory of nations as an overflowing stream, And you have sucked, You are carried on the side, And you are dandled on the knees.
੧੨ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਰਿਆ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲ-ਧਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਸ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੁੰਘੋਗੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੁੱਛੜ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਜਾਓਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਗੋਡਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੁਦਾਏ ਜਾਓਗੇ।
13 As one whom his mother comforts, so do I comfort you, Indeed, you are comforted in Jerusalem.”
੧੩ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਤਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ਪਾਓਗੇ।
14 And you have seen, and your heart has rejoiced, And your bones flourish as tender grass, And the hand of YHWH has been known to His servants, And He has been indignant with His enemies.
੧੪ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦਿਲ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਘਾਹ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹਰੀਆਂ-ਭਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਸਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ।
15 For behold, YHWH comes in fire, And His chariots as a windstorm, To refresh His anger in fury, And His rebuke in flames of fire.
੧੫ਵੇਖੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਰਥ ਵਾਵਰੋਲੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਾੜ ਅੱਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਵੇ,
16 For by fire and by His sword, YHWH does judgment with all flesh. And many have been YHWH’s pierced ones.
੧੬ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਹਰੇਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵੱਢੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
17 “Those sanctifying and cleansing themselves [to go] to the gardens, One after another in the midst, Eating flesh of the sow, And of the abomination, and of the muroid, Are consumed together,” A declaration of YHWH.
੧੭ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਬਾਗ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਸੂਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ, ਚੂਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੀ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
18 “And I—their works and their thoughts, I come to gather all the nations and tongues, And they have come and seen My glory.
੧੮ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੋਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਉਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣਗੀਆਂ।
19 And I have set a sign among them, And have sent out of them those escaping to the nations (Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, drawing bow, Tubal and Javan, the islands that are far off), Who have not heard My fame, nor seen My glory, And they have declared My glory among nations.
੧੯ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਭਗੌੜੇ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਘੱਲਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਧੁੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣੀ, ਨਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਤਰਸ਼ੀਸ਼, ਪੂਲ ਅਤੇ ਲੂਦ ਵੱਲ ਜੋ ਧਣੁੱਖ ਕੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂਬਲ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਵਾਨ ਵੱਲ ਵੀ, ਦੂਰ-ਦੂਰ ਟਾਪੂਆਂ ਵੱਲ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਣਗੇ।
20 And they have brought all your brothers out of all the nations, A present to YHWH, On horses, and on chariot, and on litters, And on mules, and on dromedaries, To My holy mountain Jerusalem,” said YHWH, “As the sons of Israel bring the present in a clean vessel, Into the house of YHWH.
੨੦ਜਿਵੇਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੇਟ ਸਾਫ਼ ਭਾਂਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ, ਰਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪਾਲਕੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਖੱਚਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਊਠਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਆਉਣਗੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਹੈ।
21 And I also take of them for priests, For Levites,” said YHWH.
੨੧ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਾਂਗਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
22 “For as the new heavens and the new earth that I am making, Are standing before Me,” A declaration of YHWH, “So your seed and your name remain.
੨੨ਜਿਵੇਂ ਨਵਾਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਧਰਤੀ, ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਅੰਸ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਾਮ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
23 And it has been from month to month, And from Sabbath to Sabbath, All flesh come to bow themselves before Me,” said YHWH.
੨੩ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਨਵੇਂ ਚੰਦ ਤੋਂ ਨਵੇਂ ਚੰਦ ਤੱਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਬਤ ਤੋਂ ਸਬਤ ਤੱਕ, ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ,
24 “And they have gone forth, And looked on the carcasses of the men Who are transgressing against Me, For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched, And they have been an abhorrence to all flesh!”
੨੪ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣਗੇ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵਿਦਰੋਹ ਕੀਤਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੀੜਾ ਕਦੀ ਨਾ ਮਰੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਬੁਝੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
