Isaiah 61
1 “[The] Spirit of Lord YHWH [is] on Me, Because YHWH anointed Me To proclaim tidings to the humble, He sent Me to bind the broken of heart, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And an opening of bands to [those] bound.
मुझ पर प्रभु याहवेह का आत्मा है, क्योंकि याहवेह ने मेरा अभिषेक किया है कि उत्पीड़ितों तक सुसमाचार सुनाने के लिये, तथा दुःखी मनवालों को शांति दूं, कि बंदियों के लिए मुक्ति का तथा कैदियों के लिये छुटकारे का प्रचार करूं,
2 To proclaim the year of the favor of YHWH, And the day of vengeance of our God, To comfort all mourners.
कि याहवेह की कृपादृष्टि का वर्ष का प्रचार करूं, और हमारे परमेश्वर के बदला लेने के दिन का प्रचार, कि उन सभी को शांति हो जो विलाप में हैं,
3 To appoint to mourners in Zion, To give to them beauty instead of ashes, The oil of joy instead of mourning, A covering of praise for a faded spirit, And He is calling to them, Trees of righteousness, The planting of YHWH—to be beautified.”
जो ज़ियोन में विलाप कर रहे हैं, उन्हें भस्म नहीं— परंतु सुंदर पगड़ी बांध दूं, ताकि उनके दुःख की जगह, आनंद का तेल लगाऊं और उनकी उदासी हटाकर यश का ओढ़ना ओढ़ाऊं जिससे वे धर्म और याहवेह के लगाये हुए कहलाएं और याहवेह की महिमा प्रकट हो.
4 And they have built the ancient ruins, They raise up the desolations of the ancients, And they have renewed ruined cities, The desolations of generation and generation.
तब वे खंडहरों का पुनर्निमाण करेंगे, वे बहुत पहले नाश हुए शहरों की मरम्मत करेंगे; उजाड़े हुए नगरों को फिर बसायेंगे.
5 And strangers have stood and fed your flock, And the sons of a foreigner [Are] your farmers and your vinedressers.
अपरिचित लोग तुम्हारी भेड़-बकरियों की देखभाल करेंगे; विदेशी लोग तुम्हारे खेत ओर दाख की बारी की देखभाल करेंगे.
6 And you are called priests of YHWH, It is said of you [that you are] ministers of our God, You consume the strength of nations, And you boast yourselves in their glory.
किंतु तुम याहवेह के पुरोहित कहलाओगे, वे तुमको हमारे परमेश्वर के सेवक कहेंगे. तुम अन्यजातियों की संपत्ति के हकदार होंगे, तथा उनके धन पर तुम गर्व करोगे.
7 Instead of your shame—double [honor], And [instead of] confusion, They rejoice in their portion, Therefore they take possession in their land a second time, Continuous joy [is] for them.
अपनी लज्जा के स्थान पर तुम्हें दो गुणा अंश मिलेगा, तथा निंदा के स्थान पर वे अपने भाग के कारण हर्ष करेंगे. तुम अपने देश में दुगुने होंगे, और सदा आनंदित रहोगे.
8 “For I [am] YHWH, loving judgment, Hating plunder for a burnt-offering, And I have given their wage in truth, And I make a perpetual covenant for them.
“क्योंकि मैं, याहवेह, न्याय प्रिय हूं; अन्याय और डकैती से मैं घृणा करता हूं. इसलिये मैं उन्हें सच्चाई का प्रतिफल दूंगा तथा उनके साथ सदा की वाचा बांधूंगा.
9 And their seed has been known among the nations, And their offspring in the midst of the peoples, All their beholders acknowledge them, For they [are] a seed YHWH has blessed.”
उनकी संतान जनताओं में प्रसिद्ध हो जाएगी तथा उनके वंश लोगों के बीच याहवेह से आशीषित होंगे. सभी उन्हें पहचान जाएंगे जो उन्हें देखेंगे.”
10 I greatly rejoice in YHWH, My soul rejoices in my God, For He clothed me with garments of salvation, [And] covered me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom prepares ornaments, And as a bride puts on her jewels.
मैं याहवेह में अत्यंत आनंदित होऊंगा; मेरे प्राण मेरे परमेश्वर में मगन होंगे. क्योंकि उन्होंने मुझे उद्धार के वस्त्र पहनाए और धर्म की चादर ओढ़ा दी, जैसे दूल्हा फूलों से अपने आपको सजाता है, और दुल्हन गहनों से श्रृंगार करती है.
11 For as the earth brings forth her shoots, And as a garden causes its sown things to shoot up, So Lord YHWH causes righteousness and praise To shoot up before all the nations!
क्योंकि जिस प्रकार भूमि अपनी उपज उगाती और बारी में बोये गये बीज को अंकुरित करती है, उसी प्रकार प्रभु याहवेह सब देशों के बीच धार्मिकता बढ़ाएंगे.
