< Isaiah 60 >
1 Arise, shine, for your light has come, And the glory of YHWH has risen on you.

2 For behold, the darkness covers the earth, And thick darkness the peoples, And YHWH rises on you, And His glory is seen on you.

3 And nations have come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
Hañavelo mb’amo hazava’oo o kilakila ondatio, naho mb’ami’ty fireandream-panjiriha’o o mpanjakao.
4 “Lift up your eyes around and see, All of them have been gathered, they have come to you, Your sons come from afar, And your daughters are supported on the side.
Ampiandrao mb’eo mb’eo o fihaino’oo, le mahaoniña, hene mifanontoñe, mivovotse mb’ama’o mb’eo boak’e tsietoitane añe o ana-dahi’oo, vaho hotroñe’ o mpiatrak’ azeo o anak’ ampela’oo.
5 Then you see, and have become bright, And your heart has been afraid and enlarged, For the multitude of the sea turn to you, The forces of nations come to you.
Ho oni’o amy zao naho haviake, hitepotepo vaho hienatse ty arofo’o; Fa hasese ama’o ty havokara’ i riakey, hitotsake ama’o ty vara’ o fifeheañeo.
6 A multitude of camels covers you, Dromedaries of Midian and Ephah, All of them from Sheba come, They carry gold and frankincense, And they proclaim the praises of YHWH.
Handrakotse’ azo ty rameva añ’aleale; hikararake boake Seba añe o rameva tora’ i Midiane naho Eifàeo ro hanese volamena naho rame, hitalily ty enge’ Iehovà.
7 All the flock of Kedar are gathered to you, The rams of Nebaioth serve you, They ascend My altar for acceptance, And I beautify the house of My beauty.
Sindre hatontoñe ama’o ze lia-rai’ i Kedare, songa hitoroñe azo ty añondrilahi’ i Nebaiote, hionjom-b’an’ kitreliko mb’eo fa mañeva; ho rengèko ty akibam-bolonaheko.
8 Who [are] these—they fly as a thick cloud, And as doves to their windows?
Ia o mitiliñe hoe rahoñeo? hoe deho mamonje o traño’eo.
9 Surely islands wait for Me, And ships of Tarshish first, To bring your sons from afar, Their silver and their gold with them, To the Name of your God YHWH, And to the Holy One of Israel, Because He has beautified you.

10 And sons of a stranger have built your walls, And their kings serve you, For in My wrath I have struck you, And in My good pleasure I have pitied you.
Harafi’ o renetaneo o kijoli’oo, naho hiatrak’azo o mpanjaka’eo; toe linafako an-kabosehan-drehe, fe am-pañosihañe ty niferenaiñako.
11 And your gates have continually opened, They are not shut by day and by night, To bring the force of nations to you, Even their kings are led.
Hisokake nainai’e o lalam-bei’oo, tsy harindriñe handro ndra hale, hañendesa’ ondaty ama’o ty vara’ o kilakila’ ndatio, vaho hivovora’ o mpanjaka’eo.
12 For the nation and the kingdom that does not serve you perishes, Indeed, the nations are utterly desolated.
Hirotsake ty fifeheañe naho ze famelehañe tsy mitoroñe azo; eka ho vata’e fianto i fifeheañe rezay.
13 The glory of Lebanon comes to you, Fir, pine, and box together, To beautify the place of My sanctuary, And I make the place of My feet honorable.
Homb’ama’o mb’eo ty volonahe’ i Lebanone, o mendoraveñeo, o harandrantoo, o mañario, naho o kintsiñeo, hampisomontia’ iareo i toeko miavakey; le hanoeko fanjàka ty atimpaheko.
14 And the sons of those afflicting you Have come to you, bowing down, And all despising you Have bowed themselves to the soles of your feet, And they have cried to you: The City of YHWH, Zion of the Holy One of Israel!
Hidrakadrakake mb’ama’o mb’eo ty ana’ o nampisoañe azoo, hibokoke an-dela-pandia’o eo o nanìtse azoo; vaho hanoa’ iereo ty hoe: ty rova’ Iehovà, ty Tsione’ i Masi’ Israeley.
15 Instead of your being forsaken and hated, And none passing through, I have made you for a continuous excellence, A joy of generation and generation.
Aa kanao naforintseñe naho ni-falai’ ondaty irehe, vaho tsy nirangaeñe, le hanoeko fiaintane nainai’e, hafaleañe tariratse an-tariratse.
16 And you have sucked the milk of nations, Indeed, you suckle the breast of kings, And you have known that I, YHWH, Your Savior, and Your Redeemer, [Am] the Mighty One of Jacob.
Ho riote’ areo ty ronono’ o fifeheañeo hinono am-patroam-panjaka vaho ho fohi’o te Izaho Iehovà ro Mpandrombak’ azo, naho Izaho Tsitongerè’ Iakobe ro Mpijebañe azo.
17 Instead of the bronze I bring in gold, And instead of the iron I bring in silver, And instead of the wood bronze, And instead of the stone iron, And I have made your inspection peace, And your exactors righteousness.
Hindesako volamena hasolo ty torisìke, naho torisìke hasolo ty hatae, naho viñe fa tsy vato; hanoeko fierañerañañe o mpifehe’oo, vaho havantañañe o mpizaka’oo.
18 Violence is not heard in your land anymore, Spoiling and destruction in your borders, And you have called your walls Salvation, And your gates Praise.
Tsy ho rey an-taneko ao ka ty hotakotake, ndra fangoakoahañe ndra fangomokomohañe am-po fahe’o ao; fa hatao’o ty hoe Fandrombahañe o kijoli’oo, naho fandrengeañe o lalam-beio.
19 The sun is no longer your light by day, And for brightness the moon does not give light to you, And YHWH has become to you A continuous light, and your God your beauty.
Tsy i àndroy ka ty hitsavavàk’ ama’o te handro, vaho tsy ty hadorisa’ i volañey ty himilemiletse ama’o; fa hireandreañe ama’o nainai’e t’Iehovà, naho ho enge’o t’i Andrianañahare.
20 Your sun goes in no more, And your moon is not removed, For YHWH becomes a continuous light to you. And the days of your mourning have been completed.
Le lia’e tsy hiroñe i àndroy, naho tsy hisitake ka i volañey; fa Iehovà ty ho failo’o nainai’e, vaho ho modo o androm-pandalà’oo.
21 And all your people [are] righteous, They possess the earth for all time, A branch of My planting, A work of My hands, to be beautified.
Hene ho vantañe ondati’oo ho lova’ iareo nainai’e ty tane; ie singa namboleko, ty satan-tañako, handrengeañ’ Ahiko.
22 The little one becomes a chief, And the small one a mighty nation, I, YHWH, hurry it in its own time!”
