Isaiah 59
1 Behold, the hand of YHWH Has not been shortened from saving, Nor His ear heavy from hearing.
१पाहा, तारण करवत नाही इतका परमेश्वराचा हात लहान झालेला नाही, आणि ऐकू येत नाही इतका त्याचा कान मंद झाला नाही.
2 But your iniquities have been separating Between you and your God, And your sins have hidden The Presence from you—from hearing.
२तर तुमच्या पापमय कृत्यांनी तुम्हास तुमच्या परमेश्वरापासून वेगळे केले आहे. आणि तुमच्या पापांनी त्यास आपले मुख लपवण्यास आणि तुमचे न ऐकण्यास भाग पाडले आहे.
3 For your hands have been defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity, Your lips have spoken falsehood, Your tongue mutters perverseness.
३कारण तुमचे हात रक्ताने माखले आहेत व तुमची बोटे अपराधांमुळे विटाळली आहेत. तुमचे ओठ खोटे बोलतात आणि तुमची जीभ द्वेष उच्चारते.
4 There is none calling in righteousness, And there is none pleading in faithfulness, Trusting on emptiness, and speaking falsehood, Conceiving perverseness, and bearing iniquity.
४कोणीही न्यायीपणाने दावा सांगत नाही, आणि कोणीही सत्यात आपली बाजू मांडत नाही. ते पोकळ शब्दांवर विश्वास ठेवतात आणि खोटे बोलतात, ते दुष्टाईची गर्भधारणा करून अन्यायाला जन्म देतात.
5 They have hatched eggs of a viper, And weave webs of a spider, Whoever is eating their eggs dies, and the crushed hatches a viper.
५ते विषारी सापाची अंडी उबवितात आणि कोळ्याचे जाळे विणतात. जो त्याची अंडी खातो तो मरतो, आणि ते तुम्ही फोडले असता त्यातून सर्पच निघतो.
6 Their webs do not become a garment, Nor do they cover themselves with their works, Their works [are] works of iniquity, And a deed of violence [is] in their hands.
६त्यांनी बनविलेल्या जाळ्याचा उपयोग कपड्यांसाठी होऊ शकत नाही आणि त्यांचे अंग ते आपल्या कृत्यांनी झाकू शकणार नाहीत. त्यांची कृत्ये ही पापाची कृत्ये आहेत, आणि त्यांच्या हातात हिंसेची कामे आहेत.
7 Their feet run to evil, And they hurry to shed innocent blood, Their thoughts [are] thoughts of iniquity, Spoiling and destruction [are] in their highways.
७त्यांचे पाय दुष्कर्माकडे धावतात, आणि निष्पाप रक्त पाडायला ते घाई करतात. त्यांचे विचार हे अन्यायाचे विचार आहेत, हिंसा आणि नाश हे त्यांचे मार्ग आहेत.
8 They have not known a way of peace, And there is no judgment in their paths, They have made their paths perverse for themselves, None treading in it has known peace.
८त्यांना शांतीचा मार्ग माहित नाही, आणि त्यांच्या वाटेत न्याय आढळत नाही. त्यांनी कुटिल मार्ग स्थापिले, आणि जो कोणी या मार्गात प्रवास करतो तो शांतता ओळखत नाही.
9 Therefore judgment has been far from us, And righteousness does not reach us, We wait for light, and behold, darkness, For brightness—in thick darkness we go,
९यास्तव न्याय आम्हापासून दूर आहे, आणि चांगुलपणा आमच्यापर्यंत पोहचत नाही. आम्ही प्रकाशासाठी थांबतो, पण पाहा अंधार; आम्ही तेज शोधतो, पण आम्ही काळोखात चालतो.
10 We feel [for] the wall like the blind, Indeed, we feel as without eyes, We have stumbled at noon as at twilight, In desolate places as the dead.
१०आम्ही आंधळ्यांप्रमाणे भिंती चाचपतो, त्याप्रमाणे जे पाहू शकत नाहीत. रात्री अडखळून पडावे तसे आम्ही भर दूपारी पडतो; बलवानांमध्ये आम्ही मरण पावलेल्या मनुष्यांप्रमाणे आहोत.
11 We make a noise as bears—all of us, And we coo severely as doves; We wait for judgment, and there is none, For salvation—it has been far from us.
११आम्ही अस्वलांसारखे गुरगुरतो आणि कबुतरांसारखे फिरतो, आम्ही न्यायाची वाट पाहातो पण काही नाही; तारणाची वाट पाहतो परंतु ते आम्हापासून फार दूर आहे.
12 For our transgressions have been multiplied before You, And our sins have testified against us, For our transgressions [are] with us, And our iniquities—we have known them.
१२कारण तुझ्यासमोर आमचे अपराध पुष्कळ आहेत, आणि आमची पातके आम्हांविरूद्ध साक्ष देतात. कारण आमचे अपराध आमच्या सोबत आहेत, आणि आम्हांस आमची पातके माहीत आहेत.
13 Transgressing, and lying against YHWH, And removing from after our God, Speaking oppression and apostasy, Conceiving and uttering from the heart Words of falsehood.
१३आम्ही बंड केले, परमेश्वरास नकारले आणि आमच्या देवाला अनुसरण्याचे सोडून दूर फिरलो आहे. आम्ही खंडणी बद्दल बोललो आणि बाजूला वळलो आहो, वाईट गोष्टींचा विचार केला व मनात दुष्ट बेत केले.
14 And judgment is removed backward, And righteousness stands far off, For truth has been feeble in the street, And straightforwardness is not able to enter,
१४न्यायास मागे ढकलण्यात आले आहे, आणि प्रामाणिकपणा फार दूर उभा आहे. सत्य सार्वजनिक चौकात पडले आहे, आणि सरळपण आत येऊ शकत नाही.
15 And the truth is lacking, And whoever is turning aside from evil, Is making himself a spoil. And YHWH sees, and it is evil in His eyes, That there is no judgment.
१५सत्य जात राहिले आणि दुष्कर्मापासून दूर फिरणारे बळी पडतात. परमेश्वराने पाहिले पण त्यास कोठेच चांगुलपणा सापडला नाही, परमेश्वरास हे आवडले नाही.
16 And He sees that there is no man, And is astonished that there is no intercessor, And His own arm gives salvation to Him, And His righteousness—it sustained Him.
१६त्याने पाहिले की कोणी मनुष्य नाही, आणि कोणी मध्यस्थही नाही. तेव्हा त्याच्याच बाहूने त्याच्याकडे तारण आणले, आणि त्याच्याच न्यायीपणाने त्यास आधार दिला.
17 And He puts on righteousness as a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head, And He puts on garments of vengeance [for] clothing, And is covered, as [with] an upper-robe, [with] zeal.
१७त्याने चांगुलपणाचे चिलखत घातले, तारणाचे शिरस्त्राण आपल्या डोक्यावर घातले, त्याने सूडाचे वस्र परिधान केले आणि जसा झग्याने तसा तो आवेशाने वेष्टिलेला होता.
18 According to deeds—so He repays. Fury to His adversaries, [their] deed to His enemies, To the islands He repays [their] deed.
१८त्यांच्या कृत्याप्रमाणेच तो त्यांना परतफेड करील, त्याच्या शत्रूस क्रोध, वैऱ्यास प्रतिफल भरून देईल, द्वीपांना दंड म्हणून त्यांचा प्रतिफळ देईल.
19 And from the west they fear the Name of YHWH, And from the rising of the sun—His glory, When an adversary comes in as a flood, The Spirit of YHWH has raised an ensign against him.
१९ह्याप्रकारे पश्चिमेपासून ते परमेश्वराच्या नावाचे भय धरतील, आणि सुर्याच्या उदयापासून त्याच्या प्रतापाचे भय धरतील. कारण शत्रू पाण्याच्या लोंढ्याप्रमाणे येतील तेव्हा परमेश्वराचा आत्मा त्यांच्याविरुद्ध झेंडा उभारिल.
20 “And the Redeemer has come to Zion, Even to captives of transgression in Jacob,” A declaration of YHWH.
२०मग तारणारा सियोनेकडे येईल आणि याकोबात जे अपराधापासून वळतात त्यांच्याकडेही येईल, परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो.
21 “And I—this [is] My covenant with them,” said YHWH, “My Spirit that [is] on you, And My words that I have put in your mouth, Do not depart from your mouth, And from the mouth of your seed, And from the mouth of your seed’s seed,” said YHWH, “From now on, even for all time!”
२१परमेश्वर म्हणतो, त्याच्याशी माझा करार हाच आहे, माझा आत्मा जो तुझ्यात आहे आणि माझे शब्द जे मी तुझ्या मुखात टाकले, ते तुझ्या मुखातून किंवा तुझ्या संतानाच्या मुखातून किंवा तुझ्या संतानाचे जे संतान त्यांच्या मुखातून आतापासून सर्वकाळपर्यंत निघून जाणार नाही, असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
