Isaiah 55
1 “Behold, every thirsty one, Come to the waters, And he who has no money, Come, buy and eat, Indeed, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.
“आओ, हरेक व्यक्ति जो तिर्खाएको छौ आओ, पानीमा आओ, अनि तिमीहरू जोसँग पैसा छैन, आओ, किन र खाओ! आओ, पैसाविना र मूल्यविना दाखमद्य र दूध किन ।
2 Why do you weigh money for that which is not bread? And your labor for that which is not for satiety? Listen diligently to Me, and eat good, And your soul delights itself in fatness.
जे रोटी होइन त्यसको लागि किन चाँदी तौलन्छौ र जे कुराले सन्तुष्टि दिंदैन त्यसको निम्ति तिमिहरू किन परिश्रम गर्छौ? मेरो कुरा ध्यानसित सुन र जे असल छ सो खाओ, अनि मोटोपनमा आफूलाई खुसी पार ।
3 Incline your ear, and come to Me, Hear, and your soul lives, And I make a perpetual covenant for you, The kind blessings of David that are steadfast.
आफ्ना कान थाप र मकहाँ आओ । सुन, ताकि तिमीहरू बाँच्न सक्छौ । मैले दाऊदलाई प्रतिज्ञा गरेको मेरो भरपर्दो र विश्वायोग्य प्रेमले— तिमीहरूसँग म अनन्त करार गर्नेछु ।
4 Behold, I have given him [as] a witness to peoples, A leader and commander to peoples.
हेर, मैले उसलाई जातिहरूका निम्ति गवाहीको रूपमा, मानिसहरूका निम्ति अगुवा र कमाण्डरको रूपमा राखेको छु ।
5 Behold, a nation you do not know, you call, And a nation who does not know you runs to you, For the sake of your God YHWH, And for the Holy One of Israel, Because He has beautified you.”
हेर, परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर, इस्राएलको परमपवित्र, जसले तिमीहरूलाई महिमित पार्नुभएको छ, उहाँको कारणले तिमीहरूले नचिनेको जातिलाई बोलाउनेछौ, अनि तिमीहरूलाई नचिन्ने एउटा जाति तिमीहरूतिर दौडेर आउनेछ ।
6 Seek YHWH while He may be found, Call Him while He is near,
जबसम्म परमप्रभुलाई भेट्टाउन सक्छौ, तबसम्म उहाँलाई खोज । उहाँ नजिक हुनुहुँदा नै उहाँको खोजी गर ।
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the man of iniquity his thoughts, And he returns to YHWH, And He pities him, And to our God, For He multiplies to pardon.
दुष्टले आफ्नो बाटो र पापको मानिसले आफ्ना विचारहरू त्यागोस् । ऊ परमप्रभुमा फर्कोस्, र उहाँले उसलाई दया गर्नुहुनेछ र हाम्रा परमेश्वरमा जसले उसलाई प्रशस्त गरी क्षमा गर्नुहुनेछ ।
8 “For My thoughts [are] not your thoughts, Nor your ways My ways,” A declaration of YHWH,
“किनभने मेरा विचारहरू तिमीहरूका विचारहरू होइनन्, न त तिमीहरूका उपायहरू मेरा उपायहरू हुन्— यो पमरप्रभुको घोषणा हो—
9 “For [as] high [as] the heavens have been above the earth, So high have been My ways above your ways, And My thoughts above your thoughts.
किनकि जसरी पृथ्वीभन्दा आकाश उच्च छ, त्यसरी नै तिमीहरूका उपायहरूभन्दा मेरा उपायहरू र तिमीहरू विचारहरूभन्दा मेरा विचारहरू उच्च छन् ।
10 For as the shower comes down, And the snow from the heavens, And does not return there, But has watered the earth, And has caused it to yield, and to spring up, And has given seed to the sower, and bread to the eater,
किनकि जसरी झरी र हिउँ आकाशबाट तल आउँछ, अनि जबसम्म तिनले पृथ्वीलाई भिजाउँदैनन्, र त्यसलाई उब्जाउने तथा उमार्ने बनाउँदैनन्, र छर्ने किसानलाई बीउ र खानेलाई रोटी दिंदैनन्, तबसम्म ती त्यहाँ फर्कंदैनन्,
11 So is My word that goes out of My mouth, It does not return to Me empty, But has done that which I desired, And prosperously effected that [for] which I sent it.
त्यसरी नै मेरो मुखबाट निस्कने मेरो वचन पनि हुनेछ— त्यो मकहाँ रित्तै फर्कनेछैन, तर जुन उद्देश्यको निम्ति मैले त्यसलाई पठाएँ, त्यसमा त्यो सफल हुनेछ ।
12 For you go forth with joy, And you are brought in with peace, The mountains and the hills Break forth before you [with] singing, And all trees of the field clap the hand.
किनकि तिमीहरू आनन्दमा जानेछौ र शन्तिसित डोर्याइनेछौ । तिमीहरूका सामु पर्वतहरू र पहाडहरू आनन्दको सोरमा गाउनेछन्, अनि मैदानका सबै रूखले आफ्ना हातले ताली बजाउनेछन् ।
13 Instead of the thorn comes up fir, Instead of the brier comes up myrtle, And it has been to YHWH for a name, For a perpetual sign—it is not cut off!”
काँढे झाडीको सट्टामा सल्ला उम्रनेछ । अनि सिउँडीको सट्टामा मेहँदी उम्रनेछ र यो परमप्रभुको निम्ति, उहाँको नाउँको निम्ति अनन्त चिन्हको रूपमा हुनेछ, जुन कहिल्यै काटिनेछैन ।
