Isaiah 54
1 “Sing, O barren, she [who] has not borne! Break forth with singing, and cry aloud, She [who] has not brought forth! For more [are] the sons of the desolate, Than the sons of the married one,” said YHWH.
¡Grita de júbilo, oh estéril, tú que no diste a luz! ¡Rompe con grito de alegría y da voces de júbilo, tú que no estuviste de parto! Porque más son los hijos de la desolada, que los hijos de la casada, dice Yavé.
2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, And they stretch out the curtains of your dwelling places, Do not restrain—lengthen your cords, And make your pins strong.
Ensancha el lugar de tu tienda. Extiéndanse las cortinas de tu habitación. No te detengas. Alarga tus cuerdas y afirma tus estacas
3 For you break forth right and left, And nations possess your seed,
porque te extenderás hacia la derecha y hacia la izquierda. Tu descendencia heredará naciones y volverán a poblar las ciudades desoladas.
4 And they cause desolate cities to be inhabited. Do not fear, for you are not ashamed, Nor blush, for you are not confounded, For you forget the shame of your youth, And the reproach of your widowhood You do not remember anymore.
No temas, porque no serás avergonzada. No te sonrojes, porque no serás afrentada. Porque olvidarás la vergüenza de tu juventud y no te acordarás de la afrenta de tu viudez.
5 For your Maker [is] your husband, YHWH of Hosts [is] His Name, And your Redeemer [is] the Holy One of Israel, He is called God of all the earth.
Porque tu Esposo es tu Hacedor. Yavé de las Huestes es su Nombre. Tu Redentor es el Santo de Israel, Quien es llamado ʼElohim de toda la tierra.
6 For as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, YHWH has called you, Even a youthful wife when she is refused,” said your God.
Porque Yavé te llamó como a una mujer abandonada y abatida que fue repudiada, dice tu ʼElohim.
7 “In a small moment I have forsaken you, And in great mercies I gather you,
Por un breve momento te abandoné, pero te recogeré con grandes misericordias.
8 In overflowing wrath I hid My face [for] a moment from you, And in perpetual kindness I have loved you, Said your Redeemer—YHWH!
En un arrebato de ira, por un breve momento, escondí mi rostro de ti. Pero con misericordia eterna tendré compasión de ti, dice Yavé, tu Redentor.
9 For this [is as] the days of Noah to Me, In that I have sworn that the waters of Noah Do not pass over the earth again—So I have sworn, Wrath is not on you, Nor rebuke against you.
Esto será para Mí como en los días de Noé. Juré que las aguas de Noé nunca más pasarían sobre la tierra. Así juré que no me enojaré contra ti ni te reprenderé.
10 For the mountains depart, and the hills remove, And My kindness does not depart from you, And the covenant of My peace does not remove,” Says YHWH, your loving one.
Las montañas pueden ser removidas y las colinas pueden temblar, pero mi misericordia no será removida de ti, ni será sacudido mi Pacto de paz, dice Yavé, Quien tiene compasión de ti.
11 “O afflicted, storm-tossed, not comforted, Behold, I am laying your stones with cement, And have founded you with sapphires,
¡Pobrecita, zarandeada por la tempestad y sin consuelo! Ciertamente Yo asentaré tus piedras sobre turquesas y echaré tus cimientos sobre zafiros.
12 And have made your pinnacles of agate, And your gates of carbuncle stones, And all your border of stones of delight,
Haré tus capiteles de rubíes, tus puertas de carbunclo y todo tu muro de piedras preciosas.
13 And all your sons are taught of YHWH, And the peace of your sons [is] abundant.
Todos tus hijos serán enseñados por Yavé. Se multiplicará la paz de tus hijos.
14 You establish yourself in righteousness, Be far from oppression, for you do not fear, And from ruin, for it does not come near to you.
Serás adornada con justicia. Estarás alejada de opresión, porque no temerás, pues no se acercará a ti.
15 Behold, he diligently assembles without My desire, Whoever has assembled near you falls by you!
Si alguno conspira contra ti, lo hará sin Mí. El que conspire contra ti, caerá delante de ti.
16 Behold, I have created an artisan, Blowing on a fire of coals, And bringing out an instrument for his work, And I have created a destroyer to destroy.
Ciertamente Yo creé al herrero, quien sopla las brasas en el fuego y forja herramientas para su obra, pero también creé al destructor para que destruya.
17 No weapon formed against you prospers, And every tongue rising against you, You condemn in judgment. This [is] the inheritance of the servants of YHWH, And their righteousness from Me,” a declaration of YHWH!
Ningún arma forjada contra ti prosperará. Tú condenarás a toda lengua que se levante en juicio contra ti. Esta es la herencia de los esclavos de Yavé. Su salvación vendrá de Mí, dice Yavé.
