< Isaiah 53 >
1 Who has given credence to that which we heard? And the arm of YHWH, On whom has it been revealed?
Ia ty hiantoke ty taro’ay? naboak’ ama’ia ty fità’ Iehovà?
2 Indeed, He comes up as a tender plant before Him, And as a root out of dry land, He has no form or splendor when we observe Him, Nor appearance, that we desire Him.
Ie nitiry añatrefa’e eo hoe toran-katae, hoe vahatse an-tane maike. Ie tsy naràm-bintañe tsy amañ’asiñe te nisambà’ay; tsy ni-soa-vintañe hahasinda anay.
3 He is despised, and left of men, A Man of pains, and acquainted with sickness, And as one hiding the face from us, He is despised, and we did not esteem Him.
Nisirikaeñe, nitorifiha’ ondaty, lahilahy nalovilovy, nahafohim-pandalàñe, hoe itakonan-tarehe; nimavoeñe vaho tsy nañaoñe Aze tikañe.
4 Surely He has borne our sicknesses, And our pains—He has carried them, And we have esteemed Him [as] plagued, struck of God, and afflicted.
Toe nivavè’e o haorean-tikañeo, nendese’e o hasilofan-tikañeo; fa nataon-tika t’ie vinango, linafan’Añahare, nisilofeñe.
5 And He is pierced for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, The discipline of our peace [is] on Him, And by His scourging we are healed.
O fiolàn-tikañeo ty nandratañe aze, o tahin-tikañeo ty nandemohañe aze; tama’e ty fandilovañe ninday fanintsiñañe aman-tikañe; o fere’eo ro mahajangañ’antika.
6 All of us, like sheep, have wandered, Man has turned to his own way, And YHWH has laid on Him the punishment of us all.
Songa nandrike hoe añondry sindre nitsile amy lia’ey; fonga nampivavè’ Iehovà aze o hakeon-tikañeo.
7 It has been exacted, and He has answered, And He does not open His mouth, He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He does not open His mouth.
Niforekekeñe naho nampiambaneñe, f’ie tsy nanoka-palie; hoe anak’añondry tantalieñe ho lentaeñe, hambañe ami’ty fitsìn’añondry añatrefa’ o mpañitsikeo, t’ie tsy nanoka-palie.
8 By restraint and by judgment He has been taken, And of His generation who meditates, That He has been cut off from the land of the living? He is plagued by the transgression of My people,
Fiforeforeañe naho zaka ty naneseañe aze; Ia ty ho nahafitoky ty loak’andro’e kanao naitoañe an-tanen-kaveloñe; ie pinaoke ty amo fiolà’ ondatikoo.
9 And He appoints His grave with the wicked, And with the rich at His death, Because He has done no violence, Nor [is] deceit in His mouth.
Nampindrezeñe amo tsereheñeo ty kibori’e, vaho niharoe’e havilasy o mpañalealeo, amy t’ie tsy nijoy, vaho tsy tam-palie’e ao ty famañahiañe.
10 And YHWH has delighted to crush Him, He has made Him sick; If His soul makes an offering for guilt, He sees [His] seed—He prolongs [His] days, And the pleasure of YHWH prospers in His hand.
F’ie ninò’ Iehovà ty handemoke aze naho ty haniloke aze, aa ie nañenga ty fiai’e ho efe-tahiñe, le hahavazoho tariratse, naho hitompeañ’andro, vaho hiraorao am-pità’e o satrin’ arofo’ Iehovào.
11 Of the labor of His soul He sees—He is satisfied, Through His knowledge My Righteous Servant gives righteousness to many, And He bears their iniquities.
Ho isa’e ty vokam-paloviloviam-piai’e le hanintsiñe; ty hilala’ i mpitoroko vantañey ro hañavantañe ty maro; ie ty mivave o tahi’ iareoo.
12 Therefore I give a portion to Him among the many, And He apportions spoil with the mighty, Because that He exposed His soul to death, And He was numbered with transgressors, And He has borne the sin of many, And He intercedes for transgressors.
Aa le hitolorako tambe añivo’ o manjofakeo, le handivà’e amo fanalolahio i nikopaheñey, amy te nadoa’e an-kavilasy ty fiai’e, naho vinolily amo mpanan-kakeoo, nilogologoe’e ty tahi’ o maroo, vaho jineba’e o manan-tahiñeo.
