Isaiah 53
1 Who has given credence to that which we heard? And the arm of YHWH, On whom has it been revealed?
Ani akkiriza ebigambo byaffe, era ani abikkuliddwa omukono gwa Mukama?
2 Indeed, He comes up as a tender plant before Him, And as a root out of dry land, He has no form or splendor when we observe Him, Nor appearance, that we desire Him.
Kubanga yakulira mu maaso ga Mukama ng’ekisimbe ekigonvu era ng’omulandira oguva mu ttaka ekkalu. Teyalina kitiibwa wadde obulungi obutusikiriza tulage gy’ali; tewaali kalungi mu ye katumwegombesa.
3 He is despised, and left of men, A Man of pains, and acquainted with sickness, And as one hiding the face from us, He is despised, and we did not esteem Him.
Yanyoomebwa n’agaanibwa abantu; omuntu eyagumira ennaku n’obuyinike. Tetwayagala na kumutunulako, ng’omuntu gwe wandikubye amabega ng’ayitawo, bwe twamunyooma ne tutamuyitamu ka buntu.
4 Surely He has borne our sicknesses, And our pains—He has carried them, And we have esteemed Him [as] plagued, struck of God, and afflicted.
Mazima ddala yeetikka obuyinike bwaffe, n’atwala ennaku yaffe, obulumi obwanditulumye bwe bwamunyiga. Ate nga twalowooza nti okubonaabona kwe kyali kibonerezo okuva eri Katonda.
5 And He is pierced for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, The discipline of our peace [is] on Him, And by His scourging we are healed.
Naye yafumitibwa olw’okusobya kwaffe. Yabetentebwa olw’obutali butuukirivu bwaffe. Yeetikka ekibonerezo ffe tusobole okubeera n’emirembe. Ebiwundu bye, bye bituwonya.
6 All of us, like sheep, have wandered, Man has turned to his own way, And YHWH has laid on Him the punishment of us all.
Ffenna twawaba ng’endiga; buli omu ku ffe n’akwata ekkubo lye; Mukama n’amuteekako obutali butuukirivu bwaffe ffenna.
7 It has been exacted, and He has answered, And He does not open His mouth, He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He does not open His mouth.
Yanyigirizibwa era n’obonyaabonyezebwa naye talina kye yanyega, yali ng’omwana gw’endiga ogutwalibwa okuttibwa, era ng’endiga bwesirika obusirisi mu maaso g’abo abagisalako ebyoya bwesirika, bw’atyo bwe yasirika.
8 By restraint and by judgment He has been taken, And of His generation who meditates, That He has been cut off from the land of the living? He is plagued by the transgression of My people,
Mu kunyigirizibwa n’okusalirwa omusango yatwalibwa. Ani amanyi ku bye zadde lye? Yaggyibwa mu nsi y’abalamu, ng’akubiddwa olw’okusobya kw’abantu, bange.
9 And He appoints His grave with the wicked, And with the rich at His death, Because He has done no violence, Nor [is] deceit in His mouth.
Ne bamussa mu ntaana n’abakozi b’ebibi, n’aziikibwa n’abagagga mu kufa kwe, newaakubadde nga teyazza musango wadde akamwa ke okwogera eby’obulimba.
10 And YHWH has delighted to crush Him, He has made Him sick; If His soul makes an offering for guilt, He sees [His] seed—He prolongs [His] days, And the pleasure of YHWH prospers in His hand.
Songa ate yali nteekateeka ya Mukama okumubetenta, era n’okumuleetera okubonaabona. Naye wadde nga Mukama yafuula obulamu bwe, okuba ekiweebwayo olw’ekibi, aliraba ezzadde, era obulamu bwe bulyongerwako, n’ebyo Mukama by’asiima biriraba omukisa mu mukono gwe.
11 Of the labor of His soul He sees—He is satisfied, Through His knowledge My Righteous Servant gives righteousness to many, And He bears their iniquities.
Oluvannyuma lw’okubonaabona kw’obulamu bwe, bw’aliraba ku ebyo ebiva mu kubonaabona kwe, omutima gwe gulitereera. Era olw’ebyo bye yayitamu omuweereza wange omutuukirivu alireetera bangi okubalirwa obutuukirivu; era alyetikka obutali butuukirivu bwabwe.
12 Therefore I give a portion to Him among the many, And He apportions spoil with the mighty, Because that He exposed His soul to death, And He was numbered with transgressors, And He has borne the sin of many, And He intercedes for transgressors.
Kyendiva mmuwa ekifo eky’ekitiibwa mu bangi, era aligabira bangi omunyago kubanga yafuka obulamu bwe okutuusa okufa, n’abalirwa wamu n’abakozi b’ebibi. Era yeetikka ebibi by’abangi era ne yeegayiririra abakozi b’ebibi.
