Isaiah 50

1 Thus said YHWH: “Where [is] this—the bill of your mother’s divorce, Whom I sent away? Or to which of My creditors have I sold you? Behold, you have been sold for your iniquities, And for your transgressions Your mother has been sent away.

Tiele diras la Eternulo: Kie estas la eksedziga letero de via patrino, per kiu Mi ŝin forpuŝis? aŭ al kiu el Miaj kreditoroj Mi vendis vin? Jen pro viaj pekoj vi estas venditaj, kaj pro viaj krimoj estas forpuŝita via patrino.

2 Why have I come, and there is no one? I called, and there is none answering, Has My hand been at all short of redemption? And is there not power in Me to deliver? Behold, by My rebuke I dry up a sea, I make rivers a wilderness, Their fish stink, for there is no water, And die with thirst.

Kial neniu estis, kiam Mi venis? kial neniu respondis, kiam Mi vokis? Ĉu Mia mano fariĝis tro mallonga, por liberigi? kaj ĉu ne ekzistas en Mi forto, por savi? Jen per Mia severa vorto Mi sekigas maron, Mi faras el riveroj dezerton; iliaj fiŝoj putras pro senakveco kaj mortas de soifo.

3 I clothe the heavens [with] blackness, And I make their covering sackcloth.”

Mi vestas la ĉielon per mallumo, kaj sakaĵon Mi faras ĝia kovrilo.

4 Lord YHWH has given to Me The tongue of taught ones, To know to aid the weary [by] a word, He awakens [Me] morning by morning, He awakens [My] ear to hear as taught ones.

La Sinjoro, la Eternulo, donis al mi langon instruitan, por ke mi povosciu vigligi per vorto senfortigiton; Li vekas, ĉiumatene vekas mian orelon, por ke mi aŭskultu kiel instruatoj.

5 Lord YHWH opened My ear, And I did not rebel—I did not move backward.

La Sinjoro, la Eternulo, malfermis mian orelon, kaj mi ne kontraŭstaris, mi ne turnis min malantaŭen.

6 I have given My back to those striking, And My cheeks to those plucking out, I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.

Mian dorson mi elmetis al la batantoj kaj miajn vangojn al la harŝirantoj; mian vizaĝon mi ne kovris kontraŭ insultoj kaj kraĉado.

7 And Lord YHWH gives help to Me, Therefore I have not been ashamed, Therefore I have set My face as a flint, And I know that I am not ashamed.

Sed la Sinjoro, la Eternulo, helpas al mi, tial mi ne estas hontigata; tial mi faris mian vizaĝon kiel siliko, kaj mi scias, ke mi ne estos senhonorigata.

8 Near [is] He who is justifying Me, Who contends with Me? We stand together, who [is] My opponent? Let him come near to Me.

Proksima estas mia praviganto; kiu procesos kontraŭ mi? ni stariĝu kune; kiu postulas juĝon kontraŭ mi, li alproksimiĝu al mi.

9 Behold, Lord YHWH gives help to Me, Who [is] he that declares Me wicked? Behold, all of them wear out as a garment, A moth eats them.

Jen la Sinjoro, la Eternulo, helpas al mi; kiu do malpravigos min? jen ili ĉiuj elfrotiĝos kiel vesto, tineoj ilin tramanĝos.

10 “Who [is] among you, fearing YHWH, Listening to the voice of His Servant, That has walked in dark places, And there is no brightness for him? Let him trust in the Name of YHWH, And lean on his God.

Kiu inter vi timas la Eternulon, aŭskultas la voĉon de Lia servanto? Kvankam li iras en mallumo kaj nenio brilas al li, tamen li fidu la nomon de la Eternulo kaj apogu sin sur sia Dio.

11 Behold, all you kindling a fire, girding on sparks, Walk in the light of your fire, And in the sparks you have caused to burn, This has been to you from My hand, You lie down in grief!”

Jen vi ĉiuj, kiuj ekbruligas fajron, ĉirkaŭas sin per flamoj, iru en la lumon de via fajro, kaj en la flamojn, kiujn vi ekbruligis. Per Mia mano tio fariĝos al vi; en doloro vi kuŝos.
