Isaiah 49
1 Listen, O islands, to Me, And attend, O peoples, from afar, YHWH has called Me from the womb, From the bowels of My mother He has made mention of My Name.
१अहो द्विपांनो, माझे ऐका! आणि दूरदूरच्या ठिकाणी राहणाऱ्या लोकांनो, लक्ष द्या. माझ्या आईने मला जगात आणले असताच, मी जन्मताच परमेश्वराने मला बोलावले आहे.
2 And He makes My mouth as a sharp sword, He has hid Me in the shadow of His hand, And He makes Me for a clear arrow, He has hid Me in His quiver.
२त्याने माझे मुख तीक्ष्ण तलवारी सारखे केले आहे, त्याने मला त्याच्या हाताच्या सावलीत लपवले आहे. त्याने मला उजळता बाण केले आहे आणि आपल्या भात्यात मला लपवून ठेवले आहे.
3 And He says to me, “You are My servant, O Israel, In whom I beautify Myself.”
३तो मला म्हणाला, “तू माझा सेवक इस्राएल आहेस, ज्याच्या ठायी मी माझा महिमा प्रकट करीन.”
4 And I said, “I labored in vain, I consumed my power for emptiness and vanity, But my judgment [is] with YHWH, And my wage with my God.”
४पण मी म्हणालो मी निरर्थक मेहनत केली, मी माझी शक्ती व्यर्थ घालवली आहे. तथापि माझा न्याय परमेश्वराजवळ आणि माझे प्रतिफळ माझ्या देवाजवळ आहे.
5 “And now,” said YHWH, who is forming Me from the belly—His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him (Though Israel is not gathered, Yet I am honored in the eyes of YHWH, And My God has been My strength).
५आणि आता, तो परमेश्वर म्हणतो, ज्याने मला त्याचा सेवक व्हावा म्हणून जन्मापासून घडवले आहे, ह्यासाठी की याकोबाला त्याच्याजवळ परत आणावे, मी परमेश्वराच्या दृष्टीत सन्मान पावलो आहे, आणि माझा देव माझे बळ झाले आहे.
6 And He says, “It has been a light thing That You are My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to bring back the preserved of Israel, And I have given You for a light to the nations, To be My salvation to the end of the earth.”
६तो म्हणतो, “याकोबाचे वंश उभारायला व इस्राएलचे वाचलेले परत आणण्यासाठी तू माझा सेवक व्हावे ही फार लहान गोष्ट आहे. तू पृथ्वीच्या शेवटापर्यंत माझे तारण व्हावे म्हणून मी तुला राष्ट्रांना प्रकाश असा देतो.”
7 Thus said YHWH, Redeemer of Israel, His Holy One, To the despised in soul, To the detested of a nation, To the Servant of rulers: “Kings see, and have risen, princes, and worship, For the sake of YHWH, who is faithful, The Holy of Israel, and He chooses You.”
७मनुष्यांनी ज्याला तुच्छ मानले, राष्ट्रांनी ज्याला वीट मानले, अधिकाऱ्यांच्या सेवकाला इस्राएलचा खंडणारा, त्याचा पवित्र देव असे म्हणतो, परमेश्वर जो विश्वासू, इस्राएलाला पवित्र, ज्याने तुला निवडले आहे त्याच्यामुळे राजे तुला पाहून उठतील आणि अधिकारी नमन करतील.
8 Thus said YHWH: “In a time of good pleasure I answered You, And in a day of salvation I helped You, And I keep You, and give You, For a covenant of the people, To establish the earth, To cause to inherit desolate inheritances.
८परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, योग्य वेळेला मी माझी दया दाखवीन, मी तुला उत्तर देईल, आणि तारणाच्या दिवशी मी तुला मदत करेन. मी तुझे रक्षण करेन आणि तुला लोकांचा करार असा देईन. देश पुन्हा बांधायला आणि ओसाड वतन करून घ्यायला,
9 To say to the bound, Go out, To those in darkness, Be uncovered. They feed on the ways, And their pasture is in all high places.
९तू कैद्यांना बाहेर येण्यास सांगशील. अंधारात राहणाऱ्या लोकांस तू म्हणशील अंधारातून बाहेर या व तुम्ही आपणास प्रकट करा. ते मार्गात चरतील आणि सर्व उघड्या टेकड्या त्यांची कुरणे होतील.
10 They do not hunger, nor thirst, Nor do mirage and sun strike them, For He who is pitying them leads them, And tends them by fountains of waters.
१०त्यांना भूक व तहान लागणार नाही, तळपणारा सूर्य आणि उष्णता त्यांना इजा करणार नाहीत. कारण जो त्यांच्यावर दया करतो, तो त्यांना घेऊन चालेल. तो त्यांना पाण्याच्या झऱ्याजवळ घेऊन जाईल.
11 And I have made all My mountains for a way, And My highways are lifted up.
११मी माझे डोंगर सपाट करीन आणि खोलगट रस्त्यावर भर घालून ते उंच करीन.
12 Behold, these come in from afar, And behold, these from the north, and from the sea, And these from the land of Sinim.”
१२“पाहा! दूरदूरच्या ठिकाणाहून ते माझ्याकडे येत आहेत उत्तर आणि पश्चिम दिशांकडून ते माझ्याकडे येत आहेत. काही सीनी येत आहेत.”
13 Sing, O heavens, and rejoice, O earth, And break forth, O mountains, with singing, For YHWH has comforted His people, And He pities His afflicted ones.
१३हे स्वर्गांनो गायन करा, हे पृथ्वी, आनंदीत हो, डोंगरांनो, आनंदाचा कल्लोळ करा. कारण परमेश्वराने त्याच्या लोकांचे सांत्वन केले आहे, आणि तो आपल्या दु: खीतांवर दया करील.
14 And Zion says, “YHWH has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me.”
१४पण आता सियोन म्हणते, “परमेश्वराने मला सोडून दिले, माझा प्रभू मला विसरला.”
15 “Does a woman forget her suckling, The loved one—the son of her womb? Indeed, these forget—but I do not forget you.
१५कोणी स्त्री तिने जन्म दिलेल्या, आपल्या दुध पित्या बाळाला दया न दाखवता विसरेल काय? होय, कदाचित ती विसरेल पण मी तुला विसरणार नाही.
16 Behold, I have carved you on the palms of the hand, Your walls [are] continually before Me.
१६पाहा! तुझे नाव मी माझ्या तळहातावर कोरले आहे. तुझे कोट नित्य माझ्या पुढे आहेत.
17 Those building you have hurried, Those destroying you, and laying you waste, go out from you.
१७तुझी मुले त्वरा करीत आहेत, ज्यांनी तुझा नाश केला आहे, ते दूर जात आहेत.
18 Lift up your eyes, [look] around and see, All of them have been gathered, They have come to you. [As] I live,” a declaration of YHWH! “Surely you put on all of them as an ornament, And you bind them on like a bride.
१८तू आपल्या सभोवती नजर टाक आणि पाहा, ते सर्व एकत्र गोळा होऊन, तुझ्या कडे येतील. परमेश्वर म्हणतो, मी जिवंत आहे, खचित तू त्यांना दागिण्यांप्रमाणे आपल्या वर घालशील, एका नवरी सारखे तू त्यांना आपणावर घालशील.
19 Because your ruins, and your desolate places, And the land of your ruins, Are now surely restricted because of inhabitants, And those consuming you have been far off.
१९जरी तू कचरा आणि उजाड अशी होती, आणि उध्वस्त झाली होती. तर आता राहाणाऱ्यांस फार संकुचित होशील आणि जे तुला गिळत असत ते फार दूर होतील.
20 Again the sons of your bereavement say in your ears: The place is too narrow for me, Come near to me—and I dwell.
२०वियोग समयी तुझ्यापासून दूर झालेली मुले तुझ्या कानात म्हणतील. “ही जागा फारच लहान आहे. आम्हास राहायला मोठी जागा कर, जेणेकरून आम्ही त्यामध्ये राहू.”
21 And you have said in your heart: Who has begotten these for me? And I [am] bereaved and barren, A captive, and turned aside, And who has nourished these? Behold, I was left by myself, these—where [are] they from?”
२१मग तू मनाशी म्हणशील, मी मुलांवेगळी झालेली, वांझ, हद्दपार झालेली व इकडे तिकडे भटकणारी अशी असता, माझ्यासाठी या मुलांना कोणी जन्म दिला?
22 Thus said Lord YHWH: “Behold, I lift up My hand to nations, And I raise up My ensign to peoples, And they have brought your sons in the bosom, And your daughters are carried on the shoulder.
२२परमेश्वर, माझा प्रभू असे म्हणतो, “बघ, मी हात उंचावून राष्ट्रांना खूण करीन. मी सर्व लोकांस दिसावा म्हणून माझा ध्वज उंच धरीन, तेव्हा ते तुझी मुले त्यांच्या हातात आणि तुझ्या मुलींना खांद्यांवरून तुझ्याकडे आणतील.
23 And kings have been your nursing fathers, And their princesses—your nursing mothers; Face to the earth—they bow down to you, And they lick up the dust of your feet, And you have known that I [am] YHWH, That those expecting Me are not ashamed.”
२३राजे तुझे संगोपण करणारे बाप होतील, आणि त्यांच्या राण्या तुझ्या दाया होतील. ते भूमीकडे तोंड लववून, तुझ्यापुढे वाकून तुला नमन करतील आणि ते तुझ्या पायाची धूळ चाटतील, आणि मग तुला कळेल की मीच परमेश्वर आहे, जे माझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवतात ते लाजवले जाणार नाहीत.”
24 Is prey taken from the mighty? And the captive of the righteous delivered?
२४वीर योद्धा पासून लूट हिसकून घेतील काय? अथलाल जूलमी राजाकडे कायद्याने बंदी असलेले सोडले जातील काय?
25 For thus said YHWH: “Even the captive of the mighty is taken, And the prey of the terrible is delivered, And I strive with your striver, and I save your sons.
२५पण परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, होय, बंदिवान योद्धांकडून काढून घेण्यात येतील, आणि लूटलेले सोडवले जातील. कारण मी तुझ्या शत्रूंचा विरोध करीन, आणि तुझ्या मुलांना वाचविल.
26 And I have caused your oppressors to eat their own flesh, And they drink their own blood as new wine, And all flesh has known that I, YHWH, Your Savior, and your Redeemer, [Am] the Mighty One of Jacob!”
२६“मी तुझ्या पीडणाऱ्यांना त्यांचेच मांस खायला लावीन, आणि जसे नव्या द्राक्षरसाने तसे ते स्वत: च्याच रक्ताने मद्यधुंद होतील. आणि सर्व मनुष्य जाणतील की, मी परमेश्वर, तुझा तारणारा आहे, आणि याकोबाचा समर्थ तुझा खंडणारा आहे.”
