< Isaiah 49 >

1 Listen, O islands, to Me, And attend, O peoples, from afar, YHWH has called Me from the womb, From the bowels of My mother He has made mention of My Name.
Ry tokonoseo, mijanjiña ahiko; mitsendreña ry ondaty tsietoitàneo; fa nikanjy ahy sikal’ an-tron-dreneko ao t’Iehovà; boak’an-kovin-dreneko ao ty nitoñona’e ty añarako.
2 And He makes My mouth as a sharp sword, He has hid Me in the shadow of His hand, And He makes Me for a clear arrow, He has hid Me in His quiver.
Fa nanoe’e arara masioñe ty vavako; an-talinjom-pità’e ao ty nañetaha’e; nanoe’e ana-pàle vinàñe; an-trañom-pale ao ty nampikafira’e;
3 And He says to me, “You are My servant, O Israel, In whom I beautify Myself.”
Le hoe re tamako: Mpitoroko irehe, Israele; Ihe ty fandrengeañe ahy.
4 And I said, “I labored in vain, I consumed my power for emptiness and vanity, But my judgment [is] with YHWH, And my wage with my God.”
Fe hoe raho: Nifanehake ami’ty tsy havokaran-draho; nahamodo ty haozarako tsy jefa’e naho tsy vente’e; toe Iehovà ty hahazoako to, naho aman’Añahareko ao ty tambem-pitoloñako.
5 “And now,” said YHWH, who is forming Me from the belly—His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him (Though Israel is not gathered, Yet I am honored in the eyes of YHWH, And My God has been My strength).
Aa hoe t’Iehovà henanekeo— ie nitsene ahy an-koviñ’ ao ho mpitoro’e, hampipoliako t’Iakobe, ndra te tsy natontoñe t’Israele, fe aman-kasy am-pihaino’Iehovà iraho vaho haozarako t’i Andrianañahareko.
6 And He says, “It has been a light thing That You are My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to bring back the preserved of Israel, And I have given You for a light to the nations, To be My salvation to the end of the earth.”
hoe re: Raha loho-kede ho azo te ho mpitoroko hampionjoñe o fifokoa’ Iakobeo, hampipoly o tarira’ Israeleo; te mone hatoloko azo ty ho failo’ o kilakila ondatio, hahatsitsifañe ty fandrombahako pak’ añ’ olo’ ty tane toy añe.
7 Thus said YHWH, Redeemer of Israel, His Holy One, To the despised in soul, To the detested of a nation, To the Servant of rulers: “Kings see, and have risen, princes, and worship, For the sake of YHWH, who is faithful, The Holy of Israel, and He chooses You.”
Hoe t’Iehovà— t’i Mpijeba’ Israele, i Masi’ey— amy nisirikaeñey, amy falai’ o kilakila ondatioy, amy mpitorom-pifehey; ho isa’ o mpanjakao le hiongake, vaho hibàboke o ana-donakeo, am’ Iehovà migahiñey, i Masi’ Israele nijoboñe azoy;
8 Thus said YHWH: “In a time of good pleasure I answered You, And in a day of salvation I helped You, And I keep You, and give You, For a covenant of the people, To establish the earth, To cause to inherit desolate inheritances.
Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà: Añ’andro mete ty nitsanoñako azo, añ’androm-pandrombahañe te nitolorako; harovako irehe, vaho hatoloko ho fañina am’ondatio, hañavao i taney, hampandova’o o lova mangoakoakeo;
9 To say to the bound, Go out, To those in darkness, Be uncovered. They feed on the ways, And their pasture is in all high places.
mitsey amo mpirohio ty hoe: Miakara. vaho amo añ’ieñeo, ty hoe: Miboaha. Hihinañe añ’olon-dalañe eo iereo, ho fiandraza’ iareo o haboañe iabio.
10 They do not hunger, nor thirst, Nor do mirage and sun strike them, For He who is pitying them leads them, And tends them by fountains of waters.
Ie tsy ho kerè ndra maran-drano, tsy ho pisañen-katrevohañe ndra tariñandroke; fa hiaolo iareo ty Mpitretrè, ho tehafe’e mb’an-drano manganahana mb’eo.
11 And I have made all My mountains for a way, And My highways are lifted up.
Le hanoeko lalañe o vohiko iabio, vaho haonjoñe ambone o lalan-damokeo.
12 Behold, these come in from afar, And behold, these from the north, and from the sea, And these from the land of Sinim.”
Toe ho boake tsietoitane añe retoañe; ho boak’ avaratse añe retiañe naho ahandrefañe añe reroañe, vaho hiboak’e Sinime añe reroy.
13 Sing, O heavens, and rejoice, O earth, And break forth, O mountains, with singing, For YHWH has comforted His people, And He pities His afflicted ones.
Misaboa ry andikerañe ao! mandià taroba ry tane! mipoñafa beko ry haboañeo! fa ohoñe’ Iehovà ondati’eo, tretreze’e o mpisotri’eo.
14 And Zion says, “YHWH has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me.”
Fe hoe t’i Tsione: Nifarie’ Iehovà iraho, vaho nandikofa’ i Talè.
15 “Does a woman forget her suckling, The loved one—the son of her womb? Indeed, these forget—but I do not forget you.
Ho haliño’ ty rakemba hao ty ana’e minono; tsy ho ferenaiña’e hao ty ana-dahi’e boak’ an-kovi’e ao? Eka ndra t’ie mañaliño, Izaho tsy hañaliño azo.
16 Behold, I have carved you on the palms of the hand, Your walls [are] continually before Me.
Hehe t’ie sinokiko an-dela-tañako; Añatrefako eo nainai’e o kijoli’oo.
17 Those building you have hurried, Those destroying you, and laying you waste, go out from you.
Malisa o ana’oo; fa mienga o mpandrotsake naho mpamaoke azoo.
18 Lift up your eyes, [look] around and see, All of them have been gathered, They have come to you. [As] I live,” a declaration of YHWH! “Surely you put on all of them as an ornament, And you bind them on like a bride.
Andrandrao fihaino, le mañisaha mb’eo mb’eo: ie mifanontone iaby te mb’ama’o mb’etoañe. Amy te izaho veloñe, hoe t’Iehovà, hene ho hamiñe’o hoe bange, vaho ho ravaha’o hoe an’enga-vao.
19 Because your ruins, and your desolate places, And the land of your ruins, Are now surely restricted because of inhabitants, And those consuming you have been far off.
Fa rinotsake naho malio vaho mangoakoake o tane’oo, fe maifitse irehe henane zay ty amo mpimoneñeo, vaho ho lavitse azo o nampigedrañe azoo.
20 Again the sons of your bereavement say in your ears: The place is too narrow for me, Come near to me—and I dwell.
Mbe hibisike an-dravembia’o ao o anam-pandalà’oo, ty hoe: Maifitse amako ty toe’o toy; añalalahao toetse himoneñako.
21 And you have said in your heart: Who has begotten these for me? And I [am] bereaved and barren, A captive, and turned aside, And who has nourished these? Behold, I was left by myself, these—where [are] they from?”
Hitsakore ty hoe irehe an-trok’ao: Sinama’ ia o retoañeo, Izaho nimotso anake naho nibangiñe, nasese vaho mpirererere avao? Ia ty nañabey o retoañe? izaho naforintseñe: boak’aia o retoañeo?
22 Thus said Lord YHWH: “Behold, I lift up My hand to nations, And I raise up My ensign to peoples, And they have brought your sons in the bosom, And your daughters are carried on the shoulder.
Hoe t’i Talè Iehovà: Ingo fa hañonjon-tsirañe amo kilakila ondatio iraho, naho hajadoko am’ ondatio ty viloko, naho hindese’ iareo añ’araña’e ao o ana-dahi’ areoo, vaho hasese’ iereo añ’ èga o anak’ ampela’ areoo.
23 And kings have been your nursing fathers, And their princesses—your nursing mothers; Face to the earth—they bow down to you, And they lick up the dust of your feet, And you have known that I [am] YHWH, That those expecting Me are not ashamed.”
Ho roae-mpañotroñe iareo o mpanjakao, hampinono iareo o valim-panjakao, hidrakadrakake ama’o iereo, laharañe mb’an-tane, hitsela ty deboke am-pandia’o eo; vaho ho fohi’o te Izaho Iehovà, le tsy ho salatse ze mahaliñe ahy.
24 Is prey taken from the mighty? And the captive of the righteous delivered?
Ho tavaneñe ami’ty fanalolahy hao ty tsindro’e, havotsotse amy nahagiokey hao o tsinepa’eo?
25 For thus said YHWH: “Even the captive of the mighty is taken, And the prey of the terrible is delivered, And I strive with your striver, and I save your sons.
Fa hoe t’Iehovà: Toe ho tavaneñe amy fanalolahiy o narohi’eo, naho havotsotse amy mitrotrofiakey o hinoro’eo; hatrefeko ty miatreatre azo, vaho ho rombaheko o ana’oo.
26 And I have caused your oppressors to eat their own flesh, And they drink their own blood as new wine, And all flesh has known that I, YHWH, Your Savior, and your Redeemer, [Am] the Mighty One of Jacob!”
Ho fahanako amo nofo’eo avao o mpamorekeke anahareoo; ho mamoe’ ty lio’e avao, hoe t’ie divay mamy; ho fohi’ ze hene nofotse te Izaho Iehovà ro Mpandrombak’ azo, naho t’i Mpijeba’o, t’i Manjofa’ Iakobe.
