Isaiah 47
1 “Come down, and sit on the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, Sit on the earth, there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans, For they no longer cry to you, O tender and delicate one.
ଆଗୋ ବାବିଲର ଅନୂଢ଼ା କନ୍ୟେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଧୂଳିରେ ବସ; ଆଗୋ କଲ୍ଦୀୟର କନ୍ୟେ, ସିଂହାସନ ବିନା, ଭୂମିରେ ବସ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଉ କୋମଳା ଓ ସୁକୁମାରୀ ବୋଲି ଖ୍ୟାତା ନ ହେବ।
2 Take millstones, and grind flour, Remove your veil, draw up the skirt, Uncover the leg, pass over the floods.
ଚକି ନେଇ ଶସ୍ୟ ପେଷ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଓଢ଼ଣି କାଢ଼, ପୋଷାକ କାଢ଼ି ପକାଅ, ପାଦ ଅନାବୃତ କର, ନଦ-ନଦୀରେ ଚାଲି କରି ଯାଅ।
3 Your nakedness is revealed, indeed, your reproach is seen, I take vengeance, and I do not meet a man.”
ତୁମ୍ଭର ଉଲଙ୍ଗତା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେବ, ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲଜ୍ଜାର ବିଷୟ ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ହେବ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ପରିଶୋଧ ନେବା, ପୁଣି କାହାରି ଅନୁରୋଧ ମାନିବା ନାହିଁ।
4 Our redeemer [is] YHWH of Hosts, His Name [is] the Holy One of Israel.
ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମୁକ୍ତିଦାତା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପ, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତାହାଙ୍କର ନାମ।
5 “Sit silent, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans, For they no longer cry to you, Mistress of kingdoms.
ଆଗୋ କଲ୍ଦୀୟମାନଙ୍କର କନ୍ୟେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନ୍ଧାରକୁ ଯାଇ ତୁନି ହୋଇ ବସ; କାରଣ ରାଜ୍ୟସମୂହର କର୍ତ୍ତୃତ୍ୱକାରିଣୀ ବୋଲି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଉ ଖ୍ୟାତା ହେବ ନାହିଁ।
6 I have been angry against My people, I have defiled My inheritance And I give them into your hand, You have not appointed mercies for them, You have made your yoke very heavy on the aged,
ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କ୍ରୁଦ୍ଧ ହୋଇ ଆପଣା ଅଧିକାର ଅପବିତ୍ର କଲୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲୁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କିଛି ଦୟା ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲ ନାହିଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବୃଦ୍ଧ ଲୋକ ଉପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯୁଆଳି ବଡ଼ ଭାରୀ କରି ଥୋଇଲ।
7 And you say, I am mistress for all time, While you have not laid these things to your heart, You have not remembered the latter end of it.
ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିଲ, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାକାଳ କର୍ତ୍ତୃତ୍ୱକାରିଣୀ ହୋଇ ରହିବା;” ଏହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହିସବୁ ବିଷୟରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କଲ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ତହିଁର ଶେଷ ଫଳ ସ୍ମରଣ କଲ ନାହିଁ।
8 And now, hear this, O luxurious one, Who is sitting confidently—Who is saying in her heart, I [am], and none else, I do not sit [as] a widow, nor know bereavement.
ଏହେତୁ ଗୋ ସୁଖଭୋଗିନୀ, ଏବେ ଏହା ଶୁଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିର୍ଭୟରେ ବାସ କରି ମନେ ମନେ କହୁଅଛ, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅଛୁ, ଆମ୍ଭ ଛଡ଼ା ଆଉ କେହି ନାହିଁ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ବିଧବା ପରି ବସିବା ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ସନ୍ତାନ-ବିରହ ଜାଣିବା ନାହିଁ,”
9 And these two things come to you, In a moment, in one day: childlessness and widowhood, They have come on you according to their perfection, In the multitude of your sorceries, In the exceeding might of your charms.
ମାତ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନ-ବିରହ ଓ ବୈଧବ୍ୟ ଏ ଦୁଇ ଏକ ମୁହୂର୍ତ୍ତରେ, ଏକ ଦିନରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଘଟିବ; ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅପାର ଗଣକତା ଓ ଅତି ପ୍ରଚୁର ମାୟାବୀତ୍ୱ ଥିଲେ ହେଁ, ସେ ଦୁଇ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପରିମାଣରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଘଟିବ।
10 And you are confident in your wickedness, You have said, There is none seeing me, Your wisdom and your knowledge, It is turning you back, And you say in your heart, I [am], and none else.
କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିଅଛ, “କେହି ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଖୁ ନାହିଁ,” ତୁମ୍ଭର ଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ବିଦ୍ୟା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିପଥଗାମୀ କରିଅଛି; ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ମନେ ମନେ କହିଅଛ, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅଛୁ, ଆମ୍ଭ ଛଡ଼ା ଆଉ କେହି ନାହିଁ;”
11 And evil has come in on you, You do not know its rising, And disaster falls on you, You are not able to pacify it, And desolation comes on you suddenly, You do not know.
ଏହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶା ଘଟିବ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତହିଁର ଉଦୟ ଜାଣିବ ନାହିଁ; ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ବିପଦ ପଡ଼ିବ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ଦୂର କରି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ; ଆଉ, ଯାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣୁ ନାହଁ, ଏପରି ବିନାଶ ହଠାତ୍ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ଘଟିବ।
12 Now stand in your charms, And in the multitude of your sorceries, In which you have labored from your youth, It may be you are able to profit, It may be you terrify!
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବାଲ୍ୟକାଳରୁ ଆପଣାର ଯେଉଁ ମାୟାବୀତ୍ୱ ଓ ଅପାର ଗଣକତାରେ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରି ଆସିଅଛ, ଏବେ ତାହା ଅବଲମ୍ବନ କର। କେଜାଣି ଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉପକାର ପାଇ ପାରିବ, କେଜାଣି ଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜୟଯୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇ ପାରିବ।
13 You have been wearied in the multitude of your counsels, Now stand up and let them save you—The charmers of the heavens, Those looking on the stars, Those teaching concerning the months—From those things that come on you!
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାର ଅପାର ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାରେ କ୍ଳାନ୍ତ ହୋଇଅଛ; ଏବେ ଜ୍ୟୋତିଷମାନେ, ନକ୍ଷତ୍ରଦର୍ଶୀମାନେ, ମାସିକ ଶୁଭାଶୁଭବାଦୀମାନେ ଠିଆ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା ଯାହା ଘଟିବ, ତହିଁରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତୁ।
14 Behold, they have been as stubble! Fire has burned them, They do not deliver themselves from the power of the flame, There is not a coal to warm them, a light to sit before it.
ଦେଖ, ସେମାନେ କୁଟା ପରି ହେବେ; ଅଗ୍ନି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରିବ; ସେମାନେ ଅଗ୍ନିଶିଖାର ବଳରୁ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ତାହା ଉଷ୍ଣ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଜ୍ୱଳନ୍ତ ଅଙ୍ଗାର ଅବା ତହିଁ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ବସିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅଗ୍ନି ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।
15 So they have been to you with whom you have labored, Your merchants from your youth, They have each wandered to his passage, None is saving you!”
ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ବିଷୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରିଅଛ, ସେହି ସବୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଏହିପରି ହେବ; ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯୌବନରୁ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ବାଣିଜ୍ୟ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଏଣେତେଣେ ଭ୍ରମଣ କରି ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଯିବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ କେହି ରହିବେ ନାହିଁ।
