Isaiah 46
1 Bel has bowed down, Nebo is stooping, Their idols have been for the beast and for livestock, Your burdens are loaded, a burden to the weary.
बेल झुकता है नबू ख़म होता उनके बुत जानवरों और चौपायों पर लदे हैं; जो चीजें तुम उठाए फिरते थे, थके हुए चौपायों पर लदी हैं।
2 They have stooped, they have bowed together, They have not been able to deliver the burden, And have gone into captivity themselves.
वह झुकते और एक साथ ख़म होते हैं; वह उस बोझ को बचा न सके, और वह आप ही ग़ुलामी में चले गए हैं।
3 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of Israel, Who are borne from the belly, Who are carried from the womb,
ऐ या'क़ूब के घराने, और ऐ इस्राईल के घर के सब बाक़ी थके लोगो, जिनको बत्न ही से मैंने उठाया और जिनको रहम ही से मैंने गोद में लिया, मेरी सुनो
4 Even to old age, I [am] He, and to grey hairs I carry, I made, and I bear, indeed, I carry and deliver.
मैं तुम्हारे बुढ़ापे तक वही हूँ और सिर सफ़ेद होने तक तुम को उठाए फिरूँगा। मैंने तुम्हें बनाया और मैं ही उठाता रहूँगा, मैं ही लिए चलूँगा और रिहाई दूँगा।
5 To whom do you liken Me, and make equal? And compare Me, that we may be like?
तुम मुझे किससे तशबीह दोगे, और मुझे किसके बराबर ठहराओगे, और मुझे किसकी तरह कहोगे ताकि हम मुशाबह हों?
6 They are pouring out gold from a bag, And they weigh silver on the beam, They hire a refiner, and he makes it a god, They fall down, indeed, they bow themselves.
जो थैली से बाइफ़रात सोना निकालते और चाँदी को तराज़ू में तोलते हैं, वह सुनार को उजरत पर लगाते हैं और वह उससे एक बुत ख़ुदा के नाम से बनाता है; फिर वह उसके सामने झुकते, बल्कि सिज्दा करते हैं।
7 They lift him up on the shoulder, They carry him, and cause him to rest in his place, And he stands, he does not move from his place, Indeed, one cries to him, and he does not answer, He does not save him from his adversity.
वह उसे कँधे पर उठाते हैं, वह उसे ले जाकर उसकी जगह पर खड़ा करते हैं और वह खड़ा रहता है, वह अपनी जगह से सरकता नहीं; बल्कि अगर कोई उसे पुकारे, तो वह न जवाब दे सकता है और न उसे मुसीबत से छुड़ा सकता है।
8 Remember this, and show yourselves men, Turn [it] back, O transgressors, to the heart.
ऐ गुनाहगारो, इसको याद रख्खो और मर्द बनो, इस पर फिर सोचो।
9 Remember former things of old, For I [am] Mighty, and there is none else, God—and there is none like Me.
पहली बातों को जो क़दीम से हैं, याद करो कि मैं ख़ुदा हूँ और कोई दूसरा नहीं मैं ख़ुदा हूँ और मुझ सा कोई नहीं।
10 Declaring the latter end from the beginning, And from of old that which has not been done, Saying, My counsel stands, And all My delight I do.
जो इब्तिदा ही से अंजाम की ख़बर देता हूँ, और पहले दिनों से वह बातें जो अब तक वजूद में नहीं आई, बताता हूँ; और कहता हूँ, कि 'मेरी मसलहत क़ाईम रहेगी और मैं अपनी मर्ज़ी बिल्कुल पूरी करूँगा।
11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, The man of My counsel from a far land, Indeed, I have spoken, indeed, I bring it in, I have formed [it], indeed, I do it.
जो पूरब से उक़ाब को या'नी उस शख़्स को जो मेरे इरादे को पूरा करेगा, दूर के मुल्क से बुलाता हूँ, मैंने ही कहा और मैं ही इसको वजूद में लाऊँगा; मैंने इसका इरादा किया और मैं ही इसे पूरा करूँगा।
12 Listen to Me, you mighty in heart, Who are far from righteousness.
“ऐ सख़्त दिलो, जो सदाक़त से दूर हो मेरी सुनो,
13 I have brought My righteousness near, It is not far off, And My salvation—it does not linger, And I have given salvation in Zion, For Israel My glory!”
मैं अपनी सदाक़त को नज़दीक लाता हूँ, वह दूर नहीं होगी और मेरी नजात ताख़ीर न करेगी; और मैं सिय्यून को नजात और इस्राईल को अपना जलाल बख़्शूँगा।”
