< Isaiah 46 >

1 Bel has bowed down, Nebo is stooping, Their idols have been for the beast and for livestock, Your burdens are loaded, a burden to the weary.
Bel bɔ ne mu ase, Nebo brɛ ne dibea ase; mfurum soa wɔn ahoni. Nsɛsode a wɔso nenam no mu yɛ duru, ɛyɛ adesoa ma nea wabrɛ.
2 They have stooped, they have bowed together, They have not been able to deliver the burden, And have gone into captivity themselves.
Wɔbɔ mu kotow, bɔ wɔn mu ase; wontumi nsiw amanehunu ano, wɔn ankasa kɔ nkoasom mu.
3 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of Israel, Who are borne from the belly, Who are carried from the womb,
“Muntie me, Yakobfifo, mo a moaka wɔ Israelfi nyinaa, mo a maso mo mu fi mo nyinsɛn mu, na maturu mo afi bere a wɔwoo mo.
4 Even to old age, I [am] He, and to grey hairs I carry, I made, and I bear, indeed, I carry and deliver.
Mpo kosi mo nkwakoraa bere ne bere a mubefuw dwen mu, Me ne no, Me ne nea obeso mo mu. Mabɔ mo na meturu mo; mɛwowaw mo na megye mo.
5 To whom do you liken Me, and make equal? And compare Me, that we may be like?
“Hena ho na mode me bɛto, anaa mubebu no me sɛso? Hena na mode me besusuw no, na mode no atoto me ho?
6 They are pouring out gold from a bag, And they weigh silver on the beam, They hire a refiner, and he makes it a god, They fall down, indeed, they bow themselves.
Ebinom hwie sikakɔkɔɔ fi wɔn nkotoku mu na wɔkari dwetɛ wɔ nsania so; wɔbɔ sika dwumfo paa, ma ɔde yɛ onyame bi, na wɔkotow sɔre no.
7 They lift him up on the shoulder, They carry him, and cause him to rest in his place, And he stands, he does not move from his place, Indeed, one cries to him, and he does not answer, He does not save him from his adversity.
Wɔsoa no wɔ wɔn mmati so, wɔde kosi nʼafa, na ɛka hɔ ara. Ɛrentumi mfi faako a esi. Obi teɛ mu frɛ no de, nanso ommua; ɛrentumi nyi no mfi ne haw mu.
8 Remember this, and show yourselves men, Turn [it] back, O transgressors, to the heart.
“Monkae yiye, momma ɛnka mo tirim, munnwen ho mo atuatewfo.
9 Remember former things of old, For I [am] Mighty, and there is none else, God—and there is none like Me.
Monkae nneɛma a atwam no, teteete nneɛma no; Mene Onyankopɔn, na obi nni hɔ; Mene Onyankopɔn, na obiara nte sɛ me.
10 Declaring the latter end from the beginning, And from of old that which has not been done, Saying, My counsel stands, And all My delight I do.
Meda awiei adi fi mfiase, efi tete, meka nea ɛbɛba. Meka se: ‘Mʼatirimpɔw begyina, na mɛyɛ nea mepɛ nyinaa.’
11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, The man of My counsel from a far land, Indeed, I have spoken, indeed, I bring it in, I have formed [it], indeed, I do it.
Mɛfrɛ anomaa a ɔkyere mmoa afi apuei fam; afi akyirikyiri asase so, onipa a ɔbɛhyɛ me botae ma. Nea maka no, ɛno na mɛma aba mu; nea madwen ho no, ɛno na mɛyɛ.
12 Listen to Me, you mighty in heart, Who are far from righteousness.
Muntie me, mo a moyɛ akokodurufo, mo a mo ne trenee ntam kwan ware;
13 I have brought My righteousness near, It is not far off, And My salvation—it does not linger, And I have given salvation in Zion, For Israel My glory!”
Mede me trenee rebɛn, enni akyirikyiri; na me nkwagye nso renkyɛ. Mɛma Sion nkwagye, na mede mʼanuonyam ama Israel.
