Isaiah 46
1 Bel has bowed down, Nebo is stooping, Their idols have been for the beast and for livestock, Your burdens are loaded, a burden to the weary.
बाबेल की मूर्ति बेल और नेबो देवता झुक गए हैं; उनकी मूर्तियों को पशुओं पर रखकर ले जाया जा रहा है. जिन वस्तुओं को वे उठाए फिरते थे, वे अब बोझ बन गई है.
2 They have stooped, they have bowed together, They have not been able to deliver the burden, And have gone into captivity themselves.
वे दोनों देवता ही झुक गए हैं; वे इन मूर्तियों के बोझ को उठा न सके, वे तो स्वयं ही बंधुवाई में चले गए हैं.
3 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of Israel, Who are borne from the belly, Who are carried from the womb,
“हे याकोब के घराने, मेरी सुनो, इस्राएल के बचे हुए लोग, तुम भी सुनो! तुम तो जन्म ही से, मेरी देखरेख में रहे हो.
4 Even to old age, I [am] He, and to grey hairs I carry, I made, and I bear, indeed, I carry and deliver.
तुम्हारे बुढ़ापे तक भी मैं ऐसा ही रहूंगा, तुम्हारे बाल पकने तक मैं तुम्हें साथ लेकर चलूंगा. मैंने तुम्हें बनाया है और मैं तुम्हें साथ साथ लेकर चलूंगा; इस प्रकार ले जाते हुए मैं तुम्हें विमुक्ति तक पहुंचा दूंगा.
5 To whom do you liken Me, and make equal? And compare Me, that we may be like?
“तुम मेरी उपमा किससे दोगे तथा मुझे किसके समान बताओगे, कि हम दोनों एक समान हो जाएं?
6 They are pouring out gold from a bag, And they weigh silver on the beam, They hire a refiner, and he makes it a god, They fall down, indeed, they bow themselves.
वे जो अपनी थैली से सोना उण्डेलते या कांटे से चांदी तौलते हैं; जो सुनार को मजदूरी देकर देवता बनाते हैं, फिर उसको प्रणाम और दंडवत करते हैं.
7 They lift him up on the shoulder, They carry him, and cause him to rest in his place, And he stands, he does not move from his place, Indeed, one cries to him, and he does not answer, He does not save him from his adversity.
वे इस मूर्ति को अपने कंधे पर लेकर जाते हैं; और उसे उसके स्थान पर रख देते हैं और वह वहीं खड़ी रहती है. वह मूर्ति अपनी जगह से हिलती तक नहीं. कोई भी उसके पास खड़ा होकर कितना भी रोए, उसमें उत्तर देने की ताकत नहीं; उसकी पीड़ा से उसे बचाने की ताकत उसमें नहीं है!
8 Remember this, and show yourselves men, Turn [it] back, O transgressors, to the heart.
“यह स्मरण रखकर दृढ़ बने रहो, हे अपराधियो, इसे मन में याद करते रहो.
9 Remember former things of old, For I [am] Mighty, and there is none else, God—and there is none like Me.
उन बातों को याद रखो, जो बहुत पहले हो चुकी हैं; क्योंकि परमेश्वर मैं हूं, मेरे समान और कोई नहीं.
10 Declaring the latter end from the beginning, And from of old that which has not been done, Saying, My counsel stands, And all My delight I do.
मैं अंत की बातें पहले से ही बताता आया हूं, प्राचीन काल से जो अब तक पूरी नहीं हुई हैं. जब मैं किसी बात की कोई योजना बनाता हूं, तो वह घटती है; मैं वही करता हूं जो मैं करना चाहता हूं
11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, The man of My counsel from a far land, Indeed, I have spoken, indeed, I bring it in, I have formed [it], indeed, I do it.
मैं पूर्व दिशा से उकाब को; अर्थात् दूर देश से मेरी इच्छा पूरी करनेवाले पुरुष को बुलाता हूं. मैंने ही यह बात कही; और यह पूरी होकर रहेगी.
12 Listen to Me, you mighty in heart, Who are far from righteousness.
हे कठोर मनवालो, तुम जो धर्म से दूर हो, मेरी सुनो.
13 I have brought My righteousness near, It is not far off, And My salvation—it does not linger, And I have given salvation in Zion, For Israel My glory!”
मैं अपनी धार्मिकता को पास ला रहा हूं, यह दूर नहीं है; मेरे द्वारा उद्धार करने में देर न हो. मैं इस्राएल के लिए अपनी महिमा, और ज़ियोन का उद्धार करूंगा.”
