< Isaiah 46 >
1 Bel has bowed down, Nebo is stooping, Their idols have been for the beast and for livestock, Your burdens are loaded, a burden to the weary.
Atĩrĩrĩ, Beli nĩĩinamĩrĩire, nayo Nebo ĩkahocerera; mĩhianano yacio ya kũhooywo ĩkuuagwo nĩ nyamũ cia mũtitũ o na ngʼombe. Mĩhianano ĩyo mĩacũhie ĩkuuagwo kũndũ na kũndũ nĩĩtuĩkĩte mĩrigo mĩritũ, mĩrigo ya kũnogia nyamũ iria imĩkuuaga.
2 They have stooped, they have bowed together, They have not been able to deliver the burden, And have gone into captivity themselves.
Nyamũ icio na ngai icio cia kũhooywo irainamĩrĩra hamwe; ciothe ikaremwo nĩkũhonokia mĩhianano ĩyo ĩkuuĩtwo, nacio nyene igatahwo igatwarwo ũkombo-inĩ.
3 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of Israel, Who are borne from the belly, Who are carried from the womb,
“Atĩrĩrĩ, ta thikĩrĩriai, inyuĩ nyũmba ya Jakubu, inyuothe matigari ma nyũmba ya Isiraeli, o inyuĩ arĩa ndũire nditikĩte kuuma rĩrĩa mwarĩ nda cia manyina manyu, na ngatũũra ndĩmũkuuĩte kuuma rĩrĩa mwaciarirwo.
4 Even to old age, I [am] He, and to grey hairs I carry, I made, and I bear, indeed, I carry and deliver.
O na ũkũrũ-inĩ wanyu, no niĩ, o na rĩrĩa mũgaakorwo mũrĩ na mbuĩ, niĩ nĩ niĩ ngũmũtũũria muoyo. Nĩ niĩ ndaamũũmbire, na nĩ niĩ ngũtũũra ndĩmũkuuaga, ĩĩ ti-itherũ nĩ niĩ ngũmũtũũria muoyo na ndĩmũhonokagie.
5 To whom do you liken Me, and make equal? And compare Me, that we may be like?
“Niĩ-rĩ, mũngĩngerekania na ũ kana nũũ mũngĩnjiganania nake? Mũngĩĩhaanania na ũ nĩguo tũgerekanio nake?
6 They are pouring out gold from a bag, And they weigh silver on the beam, They hire a refiner, and he makes it a god, They fall down, indeed, they bow themselves.
Andũ amwe maitũrũraga thahabu kuuma mondo-inĩ ciao, na magathima betha na ratiri; magacooka makaandĩka mũturi wa thahabu amĩthondeke ĩtuĩke mũhianano wa ngai yao, nao magacooka makamĩinamĩrĩra, makamĩhooya.
7 They lift him up on the shoulder, They carry him, and cause him to rest in his place, And he stands, he does not move from his place, Indeed, one cries to him, and he does not answer, He does not save him from his adversity.
Mũhianano ũcio maũigagĩrĩra ciande ciao, makaũkuua; makaũiga handũ haguo, ũgaikara ũrũgamĩte o hau. No ndũngĩhota kuuma hau wĩtware. O na mũndũ angĩũkaĩra-rĩ, ndũngĩcookia, kana ũhonokie mũndũ ũcio kuuma mathĩĩna-inĩ make.
8 Remember this, and show yourselves men, Turn [it] back, O transgressors, to the heart.
“Inyuĩ aremi aya, ririkanai ũndũ ũyũ, na mũwĩkĩre meciiria-inĩ manyu, mũũige ngoro-inĩ.
9 Remember former things of old, For I [am] Mighty, and there is none else, God—and there is none like Me.
Ririkanai maũndũ marĩa mahĩtũkĩte, marĩa ma tene; niĩ nĩ niĩ Mũrungu, na gũtirĩ ũngĩ tiga niĩ; niĩ nĩ niĩ Ngai, na gũtirĩ ũngĩ ũhaana ta niĩ.
10 Declaring the latter end from the beginning, And from of old that which has not been done, Saying, My counsel stands, And all My delight I do.
Niĩ menyithanagia maũndũ marĩa mageekĩka marigĩrĩrio-inĩ kuuma o kĩambĩrĩria, namo maũndũ marĩa magooka ngamamenyithania kuuma o tene. Ngoiga atĩrĩ: Ũrĩa nduĩte nĩũkahinga, namo maũndũ mothe marĩa nyendaga gwĩka-rĩ, no mo ngeeka.
11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, The man of My counsel from a far land, Indeed, I have spoken, indeed, I bring it in, I have formed [it], indeed, I do it.
Nĩngeeta nyoni ndĩa nyama kuuma mwena wa irathĩro; nĩngeeta mũndũ wa kũhingia maũndũ marĩa nduĩte gwĩka kuuma bũrũri wa kũraya. Ũrĩa njugĩte nĩngahingia; ũndũ ũrĩa ndĩciirĩtie gwĩka nĩngawĩka.
12 Listen to Me, you mighty in heart, Who are far from righteousness.
Ta thikĩrĩriai, inyuĩ andũ a ngoro nyũmũ, o inyuĩ mũraihanĩrĩirie na ũhoro wa ũthingu.
13 I have brought My righteousness near, It is not far off, And My salvation—it does not linger, And I have given salvation in Zion, For Israel My glory!”
