< Isaiah 46 >

1 Bel has bowed down, Nebo is stooping, Their idols have been for the beast and for livestock, Your burdens are loaded, a burden to the weary.
Bel kod Nebo ma nyisechegi miywayo gi farese opodho piny. Nyisechegi mosebedo kitingʼo atingʼa osekelo chandruok ma giolo joma otingʼogi.
2 They have stooped, they have bowed together, They have not been able to deliver the burden, And have gone into captivity themselves.
Gipodho piny giduto; ma ok ginyal kelo resruok ne joma lamogi, ka gin giwegi otergi e twech.
3 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of Israel, Who are borne from the belly, Who are carried from the womb,
Winjuru wachna, yaye od Jakobo, un jo-Israel duto modongʼ, un duto ma aseyiero nyaka aa chakruok kendo ma aserito nyaka aa e nywolu.
4 Even to old age, I [am] He, and to grey hairs I carry, I made, and I bear, indeed, I carry and deliver.
Kata ka udoko moti ma wiu otimo lwar, to pod An mana en, An ema abiro tingʼou mi aresu.
5 To whom do you liken Me, and make equal? And compare Me, that we may be like?
To en ngʼa ma unyalo pimago kata ma unyalo kwano ni rom koda? Koso ere ngʼama dichal koda ma dwapimrego?
6 They are pouring out gold from a bag, And they weigh silver on the beam, They hire a refiner, and he makes it a god, They fall down, indeed, they bow themselves.
Jomoko olo dhahabu piny koa ei okepegi kendo pimo fedha e ratil; bangʼe gichulo jatheth, mondo olesnegigo nyasaye, kendo gikulore piny mi gilame.
7 They lift him up on the shoulder, They carry him, and cause him to rest in his place, And he stands, he does not move from his place, Indeed, one cries to him, and he does not answer, He does not save him from his adversity.
Gitingʼe malo ma gikete e gokgi; eka gikete e kare monego obedie kendo kanyo ema osikoe. Kama oketeno ok onyal chorore. Kata bed ni ngʼato nyalo ywagorene to ok onyal dwoko; bende ok onyal rese e chandruokne.
8 Remember this, and show yourselves men, Turn [it] back, O transgressors, to the heart.
Paruru wachni, keturu e pachu kendo pareuru e chunyu un joma ongʼanyo.
9 Remember former things of old, For I [am] Mighty, and there is none else, God—and there is none like Me.
Paruru gik mosekadho, gigo mane otimore chon, An e Nyasaye kendo onge moro machielo, bende An e Nyasaye kendo onge moro machalo koda.
10 Declaring the latter end from the beginning, And from of old that which has not been done, Saying, My counsel stands, And all My delight I do.
Anyiso giko mar gimoro mana e kinde mochakore, bende asebedo kahulo gik mapok otimore. Awacho ni: Gima awacho nyaka timre kendo abiro timo gimoro amora mahero.
11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, The man of My counsel from a far land, Indeed, I have spoken, indeed, I bring it in, I have formed [it], indeed, I do it.
Koa yo wuok chiengʼ nakel winyo mager, koa e piny mabor anakel ngʼato machopo dwarona. Gima asewacho nyaka chop kare, gima asechano ema abiro timo.
12 Listen to Me, you mighty in heart, Who are far from righteousness.
Winjauru, un joma chunygi tek kendo mabor gi adiera.
13 I have brought My righteousness near, It is not far off, And My salvation—it does not linger, And I have given salvation in Zion, For Israel My glory!”
Akelo adiera mara machiegni, ok en mabor; kendo warruokna ok nodeki. Abiro kelo resruok ni Sayun, kendo duongʼna nobed Israel.
