Isaiah 42
1 Behold, My servant, I take hold on Him, My Chosen One—My soul has accepted, I have put My Spirit on Him, He brings forth judgment to nations.
१पाहा, माझा सेवक, ज्याला मी उचलून धरतो; माझा निवडलेला, याच्या विषयी माझा जीव आनंदीत आहेः मी आपला आत्मा त्याच्याठायी ठेवीन; तो राष्ट्रावर न्याय आणील.
2 He does not cry, nor lift up, Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.
२तो मोठ्याने ओरडणार नाही किंवा आरोळी ठोकणार नाही किंवा त्याचा आवाज रस्त्यावर ऐकू येऊ देणार नाही.
3 A bruised reed He does not break, And faded flax He does not quench, He brings forth judgment to truth.
३तो चेपलेला बोरू मोडणार नाही आणि मिणमिणती वातसुध्दा तो विझवणार नाही. तो प्रामाणिकपणे न्याय देईल.
4 He does not become weak nor bruised, Until He sets judgment in the earth, And islands wait with hope for His law.
४पृथ्वीवर न्याय प्रस्थापित करीपर्यंत तो मंदावणार नाही किंवा धैर्यहीन होणार नाही; आणि किनारपट्टीवरील देश त्याच्या नियमशास्त्राची वाट पाहतील.
5 Thus said God, YHWH, Creating the heavens, and stretching them out, Spreading out the earth and its productions, Giving breath to the people on it, And spirit to those walking in it.
५परमेश्वर देव हे म्हणत आहे, ज्याने आकाश निर्माण केले आणि त्यास विस्तारीले; ज्याने पृथ्वी पसरली आणि ज्यामध्ये जीवन दिले आहे; तो त्यावरील लोकांस श्वास देतो आणि त्यावर राहणाऱ्यांना जिवन देतो;
6 I, YHWH, called you in righteousness, And I lay hold on your hand, and keep you, And I give you for a covenant of a people, And a light of nations.
६मी, परमेश्वराने, तुला न्यायानुसार बोलाविले आहे आणि तुझा हात धरीन. मी तुझे रक्षण करीन आणि तुला लोकांसाठी करार व परराष्ट्रीयांसाठी प्रकाश देणारा असे करीन.
7 To open the eyes of the blind, To bring forth the bound one from prison, Those sitting in darkness from the house of restraint.
७आंधळ्यांचे डोळे उघडावे, बंदिवानांना अंधारकोठडीतून आणि अंधारात बसलेल्यांना बंदीगृहातून सोडवावे.
8 I [am] YHWH, this [is] My Name, And I do not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to carved images.
८“मी परमेश्वर आहे, हे माझे नाव आहे; आणि मी आपले गौरव दुसऱ्यांबरोबर किंवा कोरीव मूर्तीबरोबर आपली स्तुती वाटून घेणार नाही.
9 The former things, behold, have come, And I am declaring new things, Before they spring up I cause you to hear.
९पाहा, पूर्वीच्या गोष्टी घडून चुकल्या आहेत, आता मी नवीन घटनेबद्दल जाहीर करतो. त्या होण्यापूर्वी मी त्याबद्दल तुम्हास सांगत आहे.”
10 Sing a new song to YHWH, His praise from the end of the earth, You who are going down to the sea, and its fullness, Islands, and their inhabitants.
१०परमेश्वरास नवीन गाणे गा, आणि पृथ्वीच्या शेवटापासून, जे तुम्ही खाली समुद्रात जाता आणि त्याच्यात जे आहे ते सर्व, किनाऱ्यावरील देश आणि तेथे राहणारे त्याची स्तुती करा.
11 The wilderness and its cities lift up [their voice], Kedar inhabits the villages, The inhabitants of Sela sing, They cry from the top of mountains.
११वाळवंटांनो आणि नगरांनो आरोळी मारा, ज्या खेड्यात केदार राहतो, मोठ्याने आनंदाने ओरडा! सेलात राहणाऱ्यांनो गायन करोत, डोंगरमाथ्यावरून आरोळी करोत.
12 They ascribe to YHWH glory, And they declare His praise in the islands.
१२त्यांना परमेश्वरास गौरव देऊ द्या आणि किनाऱ्यावरील देशात त्याची स्तुती जाहीर करोत.
13 YHWH goes forth as a mighty one. He stirs up zeal as a man of war, He cries, indeed, He shrieks, He shows Himself mighty against His enemies.
१३परमेश्वर शूर योध्द्याप्रमाणे बाहेर जाईल; तो युद्धवीरासारखा पुढे जाईल. तो आपल्या आवेशाने उत्तेजित होईल. तो ओरडेल, होय! तो आपल्या युद्धाची मोठ्याने ओरडून गर्जना करील; तो आपल्या शत्रूंना आपले सामर्थ्य दाखवील.
14 I have kept silent from of old, I keep silent, I refrain Myself, I cry out as a travailing woman, I desolate and swallow up together.
१४बराच वेळ मी काही बोललो नाही; मी स्तब्ध राहिलो आणि स्वतःवर संयम ठेवला; आता मी प्रसूतिवेदना होणाऱ्या स्त्रीसारखा मोठ्याने ओरडेन, मी उसासे व धापा टाकीन.
15 I make desolate mountains and hills, And I dry up all their herbs, And I have made rivers become islands, And I dry up ponds.
१५मी टेकड्या आणि पर्वत उध्वस्त करीन आणि त्यांचे सर्व झाडेझुडपे मी सुकवून टाकीन; आणि मी नद्यांची बेटे करीन आणि पाणथळ जमीन कोरडी करीन.
16 And I have caused the blind to go, In a way they have not known, I cause them to tread in paths they have not known, I make a dark place become light before them, And unleveled places become a plain, These [are] the things I have done to them, And I have not forsaken them.
१६मी आंधळ्यांना माहीत नसलेल्या मार्गाने आणीन, त्यांना माहीत नसलेल्या वाटेने मी त्यांना नेईन, मी त्यांच्यापुढे अंधाराचा प्रकाश करीन, वाकडी ठिकाणे सरळ करीन. या गोष्टी मी करीन आणि मी त्यांना सोडणार नाही.
17 Removed backward—utterly ashamed, Are those trusting in a carved image, Those saying to a molten image, “You [are] our gods.”
१७जे कोणी कोरीव मूर्तीवर भरवसा ठेवतात, ओतीव मूर्तींना म्हणतात, तुम्ही आमचे देव आहात. ते मागे वळतील, ते पूर्णपणे लज्जित होतील.
18 You deaf, hear; and you blind, look to see.
१८तुम्ही बहिऱ्यांनो ऐका; आणि तुम्ही आंधळ्यांनो, तुम्हास दिसावे म्हणून तुम्ही पाहा.
19 Who [is] blind but My servant? And deaf as My messenger I send? Who [is] blind as he who is at peace, Indeed, blind, as the servant of YHWH?
१९माझ्या सेवकाशिवाय कोण आंधळा आहे? किंवा ज्याला मी पाठवले त्या माझ्या निरोप्यासारखा बहिरा कोण आहे? माझ्या कराराच्या भागीदारासारखा किंवा परमेश्वराच्या सेवकासारखा आंधळा कोण आहे?
20 Seeing many things, and you do not observe, Opening ears, and he does not hear.
२०तुम्ही पुष्कळ गोष्टी पाहता, परंतु त्याचे आकलन होत नाही; त्याचे कान उघडे आहेत, परंतु कोणी एक ऐकत नाही.
21 YHWH has delight for the sake of His righteousness, He magnifies law, and makes honorable.
२१परमेश्वर आपल्या न्यायीपणामुळे आणि नियमशास्त्र वैभवशाली केल्याने खूश झाला.
22 And this [is] a people seized and spoiled, Snared in holes—all of them, And they were hidden in houses of restraint, They have been for a prey, And there is no deliverer, A spoil, and none is saying, “Restore.”
२२पण हे लोक लुटलेले आणि लुबाडलेले आहेत; ते सर्व खड्ड्यामध्ये सापळ्यात पडलेले आहेत, तुरुंगात कैदी झाले आहेत; ते सर्व लूट असे झाले आहेत त्यांना सोडवणारा कोणी नाही आणि त्यांना परत माघारी म्हणणारा कोणी नाही!
23 Who among you gives ear [to] this? Attends, and hears afterward?
२३तुमच्यातील याकडे कोण कान देईल? भविष्यात कोण कान देऊन ऐकेल आणि श्रवण करील?
24 Who has given Jacob for a spoil, And Israel to the spoilers? Is it not YHWH—He against whom we sinned? Indeed, they have not been willing to walk in His ways, Nor have they listened to His law.
२४याकोबाला लुटीस व इस्राएलास लुटणाऱ्यांस कोणी दिले? ज्या परमेश्वराविरूद्ध आम्ही पाप केले, त्याच्या मार्गाने चालण्यास त्यांनी नकार दिला आणि त्याचे नियम पाळण्याचे त्यांनी नाकारले त्यानेच की नाही?
25 And He pours fury on him, His anger, and the strength of battle, And it sets him on fire all around, And he has not known, And it burns against him, and he does not lay it to heart!
२५म्हणून त्याने आपला भडकलेला कोप त्यांच्याविरुद्ध नासधूसीच्या युद्धासह ओतला. त्याने त्यांच्या सभोवती आग लावली तरी त्यांना कळले नाही; त्यास जाळले. पण तरी तो मनावर घेईना.
