Isaiah 38
1 In those days has Hezekiah been sick to death, and Isaiah son of Amoz, the prophet, comes to him and says to him, “Thus said YHWH: Give a charge to your house, for you [are] dying, and do not live.”
१त्या दिवसात, हिज्कीया आजारी पडून मरणाच्या टोकास आला होता, आमोजाचा मुलगा यशया संदेष्टा त्याच्याकडे आला आणि त्यास म्हणाला, “परमेश्वर म्हणतो, तुझ्या घराची व्यवस्था कर; कारण तू मरणार आहेस तू जगणार नाहीस.”
2 And Hezekiah turns around his face to the wall, and prays to YHWH,
२मग हिज्कीयाने भिंतीकडे तोंड वळवले आणि परमेश्वरास प्रार्थना केली.
3 and says, “Ah, now, O YHWH, please remember how I have habitually walked before You in truth, and with a perfect heart, and I have done that which [is] good in your eyes”; and Hezekiah weeps [with] a great weeping.
३तो म्हणाला, “परमेश्वरा, मी आपल्या पूर्ण अंतःकरणाने आणि प्रामाणिकपणाने तुझ्यासमोरच चाललो, याची कृपया आठवण कर आणि तुझ्या दृष्टीने जे चांगले ते मी करत आलो.” आणि हिज्कीया मोठ्याने रडला.
4 And a word of YHWH is to Isaiah, saying,
४नंतर यशयाला परमेश्वराकडून संदेश आला, तो म्हणाला,
5 “Go, and you have said to Hezekiah, Thus said YHWH, God of your father David: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tear, behold, I am adding fifteen years to your days,
५जा आणि माझ्या लोकांचा पुढारी हिज्कीयाला सांग, परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, तुझा पूर्वज दाविदाचा, देव म्हणतो, मी तुझी प्रार्थना ऐकली आणि तुझे अश्रू पाहिले. पाहा, मी तुझ्या आयुष्याची पंधरा वर्षे आणखी वाढवीन.
6 and out of the hand of the king of Asshur I deliver you and this city, and have covered over this city.
६मी तुला आणि या नगराला अश्शूराच्या राजापासून अधिकारातून सोडवीन आणि या नगराचे संरक्षण करील.
7 And this [is] to you the sign from YHWH, that YHWH does this thing that He has spoken.
७आणि माझ्यापासून तुला हे चिन्ह असेल, परमेश्वर, जे मी बोलतो ते करतो.
8 Behold, I am bringing back the shadow of the degrees that it has gone down on the degrees of Ahaz, by the sun, backward ten degrees”; and the sun turns back ten degrees in the degrees that it had gone down.
८पाहा, सूर्यास्तानंतर सूर्य क्षितिजाखाली गेल्यामुळे आहाजाच्या पायऱ्यांवर पडणारी सावली मी दहा पावले मागे आणीन. सूर्यास्त होताच सूर्याची सावली दहा पावले मागे जाईल.
9 A writing of Hezekiah king of Judah concerning his being sick when he revives from his sickness:
९जेव्हा यहूदाचा राजा हिज्कीया आजारी होता आणि त्यातून बरा झाल्यावर त्याने लिहिलेली ही प्रार्थना आहेः
10 “I said in the cutting off of my days, I go to the gates of Sheol, I have numbered the remnant of my years. (Sheol h7585)
१०मी म्हणालो, मी माझ्या आयुष्याच्या अर्ध्यामार्गात असता मी मृतलोकांच्या द्वारात जाईन; माझ्या राहिलेल्या वर्षात मला विसाव्यासाठी तेथे पाठवले. (Sheol h7585)
11 I said, I do not see YAH—YAH! In the land of the living, I do not behold man anymore, With the inhabitants of the world.
११मी म्हणालो की, “मी परमेश्वरास, जिवंतांच्या भूमीत परमेश्वरास आणखी पाहणार नाही; मी जगातील राहणाऱ्यांना किंवा मानवजातीला आणखी पाहणार नाही.
12 My sojourning has departed, And been removed from me as a shepherd’s tent, I have drawn together, as a weaver, my life, By weakness it cuts me off, From day to night You end me.
१२माझे जीवन काढून घेतले आहे, आणि मेंढपाळाच्या तंबूप्रमाणे माझ्यापासून दूर केलेली आहे; मी विणकऱ्याप्रमाणे आपले जीवन गुंडाळले आहे; तो मला मागावरून कापून काढणार आहे; दिवसाच्या व रात्रीच्यामध्ये तू माझा शेवट करशील.
13 I have set [Him] as a lion until morning, So He breaks all my bones, From day to night You end me.
१३मी सकाळपर्यंत रडत राहिलो; सिंहाप्रमाणे तो माझी सर्व हाडे मोडतो; दिवसाच्या व रात्रीच्यामध्ये तू माझ्या जीवनाचा शेवट करशील.
14 As a crane—a swallow—so I chatter, I mourn as a dove, My eyes have been drawn up on high, O YHWH, oppression [is] on me, be my guarantor.
१४मी निळवीप्रमाणे किलबिललो; पारव्याप्रमाणे मी कुंजन केले; माझे डोळे वर पाहून पाहून थकले आहेत. माझ्या प्रभू, माझ्यावर जुलूम झाला आहे. मला मदत कर.”
15 What do I say? Seeing He spoke to me, And He Himself has worked, I go softly all my years for the bitterness of my soul.
१५मी काय बोलू? त्याने दोन्ही केले, तो माझ्याशी बोलला आणि त्याने ते केले आहे; मी आपल्या जीवनात हळूहळू चालेल कारण माझ्या जिवाला खूप क्लेश झाले.
16 Lord, [men] live by these, And by all in them [is] the life of my spirit, And You save me, make me to also live,
१६हे प्रभू, तू माझ्यावर दुःखे पाठवली ती माझ्या चांगल्यासाठी आहेत. माझे जीवन मला परत मिळेल; तू माझे जीवन व आरोग्य परत मिळवून दे.
17 Behold, He changed bitterness to peace for me, And You have delighted in my soul without corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back.
१७माझ्या भल्यासाठीच या दुःखांचा अनुभव मला आहे. तूच मला नाशाच्या खळग्यातून वाचवले आहेस. कारण माझी सर्व पापे तू मागे फेकली आहेस.
18 For Sheol does not confess You, Death does not praise You, Those going down to the pit do not hope for Your truth. (Sheol h7585)
१८कारण अधोलोक तुझे आभार मानीत नाही. मृत्यू तुझी स्तुती करत नाही; जे खाली खोल खड्ड्यात जातात त्यांना तुझ्या सत्याची आशा नसते. (Sheol h7585)
19 The living, the living, he confesses You,
१९जिवंत मनुष्य, जिवंत मनुष्य, तोच एक तुझे आभार मानेल, जसा मी आज करीत आहे; पित्याने मुलांना तुझ्या सत्याची जाणीव करून द्यावी.
20 Like myself today; A father makes known to [his] sons of Your faithfulness, O YHWH—to save me: And we sing my songs all [the] days of our lives In the house of YHWH.”
२०“परमेश्वर मला तारण्यास सिद्ध आहे आणि आम्ही आपल्या आयुष्याच्या सर्व दिवसात परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरात संगीतासह साजरा करू.”
21 And Isaiah says, “Let them take a bunch of figs, and plaster over the ulcer, and he lives.”
२१आता यशया म्हणतो, अंजीराची एक चांदकी आणून गळवावर बांधा आणि त्यास बरे वाटेल.
22 And Hezekiah says, “What [is] the sign that I go up to the house of YHWH?”
२२हिज्कीया असेही म्हणाला, मी परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरात चढून जाईन याचे चिन्ह काय?
