Isaiah 32
1 Behold, a king reigns for righteousness, As for princes, they rule for judgment.
দেখো, একজন রাজা ধার্মিকতায় রাজত্ব করবেন এবং শাসকেরা ন্যায়পরায়ণতার সঙ্গে শাসন করবেন।
2 And each has been as a hiding place [from] wind, And as a secret hiding place [from] inundation, As streams of waters in a dry place, As a shadow of a heavy rock in a weary land.
প্রত্যেকজন মানুষ বাতাসের বিরুদ্ধে রক্ষা পাওয়ার স্থান হবে এবং হবে ঝড়ের বিরুদ্ধে রক্ষা পাওয়ার আশ্রয়স্থান। তারা হবে মরুভূমিতে জলস্রোতের মতো এবং তৃষ্ণার্তদের দেশে এক মহাশৈলের ছায়ার মতো।
3 And the eyes of beholders are not dazzled, And the ears of hearers attend.
তখন যাদের চোখ দেখতে পায়, তারা সত্য দেখবে এবং যারা শুনতে পায় তাদের কান আর বন্ধ করা হবে না।
4 And the heart of those hurried understands to know, And the tongue of stammerers hurries to speak clearly.
হঠকারী মানুষের মন আমাকে জানতে ও বুঝতে পারবে, তোতলানো জিভ অনর্গল স্পষ্ট কথা বলবে।
5 A fool is no more called “noble,” And to a miser it is not said, “rich”;
মূর্খ লোককে আর অভিজাত বলা হবে না, আবার খল লোকদেরও উচ্চ সম্মান আর দেওয়া হবে না।
6 For a fool speaks folly, And his heart does iniquity, to do profanity, And to speak error concerning YHWH, To empty the soul of the hungry, Indeed, he causes the thirsty to lack [their] drink.
কারণ মূর্খ মূর্খামির কথাই বলে, তার মন মন্দ নিয়েই ব্যস্ত থাকে: সে ভক্তিহীনতা অভ্যাস করে এবং সদাপ্রভু সম্পর্কে ভ্রান্তির গুজব রটায়; ক্ষুধার্তকে সে খাদ্যহীন রেখে দেয়, পিপাসিতকে পান করার জল দেয় না।
7 And the miser—his instruments [are] evil, He has counseled wicked schemes, To corrupt the poor with lying sayings, Even when the needy speaks justly.
খল লোকদের কাজের ধারা মন্দ, সে মন্দতার পরিকল্পনা করে, যেন মিথ্যার দ্বারা দরিদ্রকে ধ্বংস করে, এমনকি তখনও, যখন নিঃস্বের আবেদন ন্যায্য হয়।
8 And the noble counseled noble things, And he rises up for noble things.
কিন্তু মহান মানুষ মহান পরিকল্পনা করে, এবং মহান কাজের দ্বারাই সে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়।
9 Women, easy ones, rise, hear my voice, Daughters, confident ones, give ear [to] my saying,
আত্মতৃপ্ত নারী তোমরা, তোমরা ওঠো ও আমার কথা শোনো; নিশ্চিন্তমনা কন্যা তোমরা, তোমরা শোনো আমি কী কথা বলি!
10 In days and a year You are troubled, O confident ones, For harvest has been consumed, The gathering does not come.
এক বছরের একটু বেশি সময় অতিক্রান্ত হলে, নিশ্চিন্তমনা তোমরা ভয়ে কাঁপবে; দ্রাক্ষাচয়ন ব্যর্থ হবে, ফল সংগ্রহের সময় আর আসবে না।
11 Tremble, you women, you easy ones, Be troubled, you confident ones, Strip and make bare, with a girdle on the loins,
আত্মতৃপ্ত নারী তোমরা ভয়ে কাঁপো, নিশ্চিন্তমনা কন্যা, তোমরা শিউরে ওঠো! তোমাদের কাপড়জামা খুলে ফেলো, কোমরে শোকবস্ত্র জড়িয়ে নাও।
12 They are lamenting for breasts, For fields of desire, for the fruitful vine.
মনোরম মাঠগুলির জন্য তোমরা বুক চাপড়াও, ফলবতী দ্রাক্ষালতাগুলির জন্য
13 Over the ground of my people thorn [and] brier go up, Surely over all houses of joy of the exulting city,
এবং আমার প্রজাদের দেশের জন্য, যে দেশ কাঁটাঝোপ ও শিয়ালকাঁটায় ভরে গেছে— হ্যাঁ, তোমরা আমোদ-স্ফূর্তিপূর্ণ গৃহগুলির জন্য এবং হৈ-হল্লাপূর্ণ এই নগরীর জন্য শোক করো।
14 The palace has been left, The multitude of the city forsaken, Fort and watchtower have been for dens for all time, A joy of wild donkeys—a pasture of herds;
এই দুর্গ পরিত্যাক্ত হবে, কোলাহলপূর্ণ নগরীকে ছেড়ে যাওয়া হবে; নগরদুর্গ ও নজরমিনার চিরকালের জন্য মানববর্জিত হবে, যা ছিল একদিন গর্দভদের আনন্দ ও পশুপালের চারণভূমি,
15 Until the Spirit is emptied out on us from on high, And a wilderness has become a fruitful field, And the fruitful field is reckoned for a forest.
যতক্ষণ না আমাদের উপরে পবিত্র আত্মাকে ঢেলে দেওয়া হয় এবং মরুভূমি উর্বর ক্ষেত্র হয় ও উর্বর ক্ষেত্র যেন অরণ্যের মতো মনে হয়।
16 And judgment has dwelt in the wilderness, And righteousness remains in the fruitful field.
মরুভূমিতে সদাপ্রভুর ন্যায়বিচার অধিষ্ঠিত হবে এবং তাঁর ধার্মিকতা উর্বর ক্ষেত্রে বিরাজমান হবে।
17 And a work of the righteousness has been peace, And a service of the righteousness—Keeping quiet and confidence for all time.
শান্তি হবে ধার্মিকতার ফল, আর ধার্মিকতার প্রতিক্রিয়া হবে চিরকালের জন্য প্রশান্তি ও নির্ভরতা।
18 And My people have dwelt in a peaceful habitation, And in steadfast dwelling places, And in quiet resting places.
আমার প্রজারা শান্তিপূর্ণ বসতবাড়িতে বসবাস করবে, তাদের গৃহ হবে নিরাপদ, তা হবে বাধাহীন বিশ্রামের স্থান।
19 And it has hailed in the going down of the forest, And the city is low in the valley.
যদিও শিলাবৃষ্টি অরণ্যকে ধরাশায়ী করে এবং নগর সম্পূর্ণরূপে মাটির সঙ্গে মিশে যায়,
20 Blessed [are] you sowing by all waters, Sending forth the foot of the ox and the donkey!
তবুও, তোমরা প্রতিটি জলস্রোতের তীরে বীজবপন করে, তোমাদের গৃহপালিত পশুপাল ও গাধাদের মুক্ত ভাবে চরতে দিয়ে তোমরা কতই না ধন্য হবে!
