< Isaiah 3 >

1 For behold, the Lord, YHWH of Hosts, Is turning aside from Jerusalem and from Judah [Both] stay and staff: Every stay of bread and every stay of water;
Kíyèsi i, Olúwa, Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun, fẹ́ mú ìpèsè àti ìrànlọ́wọ́ kúrò ní Jerusalẹmu àti Juda gbogbo ìpèsè oúnjẹ àti ìpèsè omi.
2 Mighty and man of war, judge and prophet, And diviner and elderly,
Àwọn akíkanjú àti jagunjagun, adájọ́ àti wòlíì, aláfọ̀ṣẹ àti alàgbà,
3 Head of fifty, and accepted of faces, And counselor, and wise craftsmen, And discerning charmer.
balógun àádọ́ta àti àwọn ènìyàn, onípò gíga; olùdámọ̀ràn, oníṣọ̀nà tí ó dáńtọ́ àti ògbójú oníṣègùn.
4 And I have made youths their heads, And sucklings rule over them.
“Èmi ó sọ àwọn ọ̀dọ́mọkùnrin di aláṣẹ wọn, ọ̀dọ́mọdé lásán làsàn ni yóò sì máa jẹ ọba lórí i wọn.”
5 And the people has exacted—man on man, Even a man on his neighbor, The youths enlarge themselves against the aged, And the lightly esteemed against the honored.
Àwọn ènìyàn yóò sì máa pọ́n ọmọnìkejì, wọn lójú ẹnìkan sí ẹnìkejì rẹ̀, aládùúgbò sí aládùúgbò rẹ̀. Àwọn ọ̀dọ́ yóò gbógun ti àwọn àgbàgbà, àwọn mẹ̀kúnnù yóò dìde sí ọlọ́lá.
6 When one lays hold on his brother, Of the house of his father, [by] the garment, “Come, you are a ruler to us, And this ruin [is] under your hand.”
Ọkùnrin kan yóò di ọ̀kan nínú àwọn arákùnrin rẹ̀ mú, nínú ilé baba rẹ̀, yóò sì wí pé, “Ìwọ́ ní aṣọ, ìwọ máa ṣe olórí wa, sì mójútó àwọn ahoro wọ̀nyí!”
7 He lifts up, in that day, saying, “I am not a binder up, And in my house is neither bread nor garment, You do not make me a ruler of the people.”
Ṣùgbọ́n ní ọjọ́ náà ni yóò figbe bọnu pé, “Èmi kò ní àtúnṣe kan. Èmi kò ní oúnjẹ, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni n ó ní aṣọ nílé, ẹ má fi mí ṣe olórí àwọn ènìyàn náà.”
8 For Jerusalem has stumbled, and Judah has fallen, For their tongue and their doings [are] against YHWH, To provoke the eyes of His glory.
Jerusalẹmu ń ta gbọ̀nọ́ngbọ̀nọ́n Juda ń ṣubú lọ, ọ̀rọ̀ àti ìṣe wọn lòdì sí Olúwa, láti mú ojú ògo rẹ̀ bínú.
9 The appearance of their faces witnessed against them, And their sin, as Sodom, they declared, They have not hidden! Woe to their soul, For they have done evil to themselves.
Ìwò ojú wọn ń jẹ́rìí lòdì sí wọn, wọ́n ń polongo ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ wọn bí i Sodomu; wọn ò fi pamọ́! Ègbé ni fún wọn! Wọ́n ti mú ìparun wá sórí ara wọn.
10 Say to the righteous that [it is] good, Because they eat the fruit of their doings.
Ẹ sọ fún olódodo pé yóò dára fún wọn, nítorí ní àjẹgbádùn ni wọn yóò jẹ èso iṣẹ́ ẹ wọn.
11 Woe to the wicked—evil, Because the deed of his hand is done to him.
Ègbé ni fún ènìyàn búburú! Ìparun wà lórí i wọn, a ó sì san èrè iṣẹ́ tí ọwọ́ wọn ti ṣe fún wọn.
12 My people—its exactors [are] sucklings, And women have ruled over it. My people—your eulogists are causing to err, And the way of your paths swallowed up.
Àwọn ọ̀dọ́mọdé ni o ń pọ́n àwọn ènìyàn mi lójú àwọn obìnrin ń jẹ ọba lé wọn lórí. Háà! Ènìyàn mi àwọn afinimọ̀nà yín ti ṣì yín lọ́nà, wọn sì mú yín kúrò ní ipa ọ̀nà yín.
13 YHWH has stood up to plead, And He is standing to judge the peoples.
Olúwa bọ sí ipò rẹ̀ ní ìtẹ́ ìdájọ́ Ó dìde láti dá àwọn ènìyàn lẹ́jọ́.
14 YHWH enters into judgment With [the] elderly of His people, and its heads: “And you, you have consumed the vineyard, Plunder of the poor [is] in your houses.
Olúwa dojú ẹjọ́ kọ àwọn àgbàgbà àti àwọn olórí àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀. “Ẹ̀yin ni ẹ ti run ọgbà àjàrà mi, ogún àwọn tálákà ń bẹ̀ nínú ilé yín.
15 Why? Why do you [do this]? You bruise My people, And you grind the faces of the poor.” A declaration of the Lord, YHWH of Hosts, And YHWH says:
Kín ni èrò yín láti máa run àwọn ènìyàn mi túútúú tí ẹ sì fojú àwọn tálákà ni gbolẹ̀?” ni Olúwa wí, Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun.
16 “Because that daughters of Zion have been haughty, And they walk stretching out the neck, And deceiving [with] the eyes, They go walking and mincing, And they make a jingling with their feet,
Olúwa wí pé, “Àwọn obìnrin Sioni jẹ́ agbéraga, wọn ń rìn lọ pẹ̀lú ọrùn tí ó nà tàntàn, tí wọn ń fojú pe ọkùnrin, tí wọn ń sọ̀dí bí wọ́n ti ń yan lọ pẹ̀lú ohun ọ̀ṣọ́ tí ń mì wọnjanwọnjan lọ́rùn ẹsẹ̀ wọn.
17 The Lord has also scabbed The crown of the head of daughters of Zion, And YHWH exposes their simplicity.
Nítorí náà Olúwa yóò mú egbò wá sórí àwọn obìnrin Sioni, Olúwa yóò sì pá wọn ní agbárí.”
18 In that day the Lord turns aside The beauty of the jingling ornaments, And of the embroidered works, And of the crescents,
Ní ọjọ́ náà, Olúwa yóò já ọ̀ṣọ́ wọn gbà kúrò ti ọwọ́ àti gèlè àti ẹ̀gbà ọrùn tí ó dàbí òṣùpá
19 Of the pendants, and the bracelets, and the veils,
gbogbo yẹtí, ẹ̀gbà ọwọ́ àti ìbòjú,
20 Of the headdresses, and the ornaments of the legs, And of the bands, And of the perfume boxes, and the amulets,
gbogbo gèlè, ẹ̀gbà ọrùn, ẹsẹ̀ àti àyà, àwọn ìgò tùràrí àti òògùn,
21 Of the seals, and of the nose-rings,
òrùka ọwọ́ àti ti imú,
22 Of the costly apparel, and of the mantles, And of the coverings, and of the purses,
àwọn àtàtà aṣọ, àwọ̀lékè, agbádá àti àpamọ́wọ́,
23 Of the mirrors, and of the linen garments, And of the hoods, and of the veils,
dígí wọn, aṣọ funfun nigínnigín ìbòrí àti ìbòjú.
24 And it has been, instead of spice is muck, And instead of a girdle, a rope, And instead of curled work, baldness, And instead of a stomacher a girdle of sackcloth.
Dípò òórùn dídùn, òórùn búburú ni yóò wá, okùn ni yóò wà dípò àmùrè, orí pípá ni yóò dípò irun ti a ṣe ní ọ̀ṣọ́ aṣọ ọ̀fọ̀ ni yóò dípò aṣọ ẹ̀yẹ ìjóná dípò ẹwà.
25 For instead of glory, your men fall by sword, And your might in battle.
Àwọn ọkùnrin rẹ yóò ti ipa idà ṣubú, àti àwọn jagunjagun rẹ̀ lójú ogun.
26 And her openings have lamented and mourned, Indeed, she has been emptied, she sits on the earth!”
Àwọn bodè Sioni yóò sọkún kíkorò, wọn ó ṣọ̀fọ̀, nítorí ó dahoro, yóò jókòó ní orí ilẹ̀.
