Isaiah 3
1 For behold, the Lord, YHWH of Hosts, Is turning aside from Jerusalem and from Judah [Both] stay and staff: Every stay of bread and every stay of water;
Ĉar jen la Sinjoro, la Eternulo Cebaot, forprenos de Jerusalem kaj de Judujo la apogon kaj forton, ĉian apogon de pano kaj ĉian apogon de akvo;
2 Mighty and man of war, judge and prophet, And diviner and elderly,
heroon kaj militiston, juĝiston kaj profeton, aŭguriston kaj plejaĝulon,
3 Head of fifty, and accepted of faces, And counselor, and wise craftsmen, And discerning charmer.
kvindekestron kaj eminentulon, konsiliston, majstron, kaj lertan sorĉiston.
4 And I have made youths their heads, And sucklings rule over them.
Kaj junulojn Mi faros iliaj estroj, kaj petoluloj regos ilin.
5 And the people has exacted—man on man, Even a man on his neighbor, The youths enlarge themselves against the aged, And the lightly esteemed against the honored.
Kaj premos la popolo ĉiu la alian kaj ĉiu sian proksimulon; junulo estos aroganta kontraŭ maljunulo, kaj senvalorulo antaŭ eminentulo.
6 When one lays hold on his brother, Of the house of his father, [by] the garment, “Come, you are a ruler to us, And this ruin [is] under your hand.”
Homo ekkaptos sian fraton en la domo de sia patro, dirante: Vi havas veston, estu do nia estro, kaj ĉi tiu ruino estu sub via mano.
7 He lifts up, in that day, saying, “I am not a binder up, And in my house is neither bread nor garment, You do not make me a ruler of the people.”
Sed ĉi tiu laŭte protestos, dirante: Mi ne volas esti kuracanto; nek panon nek veston mi havas en mia domo; ne faru min estro de la popolo.
8 For Jerusalem has stumbled, and Judah has fallen, For their tongue and their doings [are] against YHWH, To provoke the eyes of His glory.
Ĉar malfortiĝis Jerusalem, kaj Judujo falis; ĉar iliaj paroloj kaj iliaj faroj estas kontraŭ la Eternulo kaj ofendas la okulojn de Lia majesto.
9 The appearance of their faces witnessed against them, And their sin, as Sodom, they declared, They have not hidden! Woe to their soul, For they have done evil to themselves.
La signoj de iliaj vizaĝoj atestis kontraŭ ili, kaj sian pekon, simile al la Sodomanoj, ili proklamas, ne kaŝas. Ve al iliaj animoj! ĉar ili mem repagis al si malbonon.
10 Say to the righteous that [it is] good, Because they eat the fruit of their doings.
Parolu pri la justulo, ke estas bone al li; ĉar ili manĝas la fruktojn de siaj faroj.
11 Woe to the wicked—evil, Because the deed of his hand is done to him.
Ve al la malbona malvirtulo! ĉar la faroj de liaj manoj estos repagitaj al li.
12 My people—its exactors [are] sucklings, And women have ruled over it. My people—your eulogists are causing to err, And the way of your paths swallowed up.
Mian popolon premas infanoj, kaj virinoj regas ĝin. Mia popolo! viaj gvidantoj erarigas vin kaj ruinigas la vojon de via irado.
13 YHWH has stood up to plead, And He is standing to judge the peoples.
La Eternulo stariĝis, por juĝi; Li staras, por juĝi popolojn.
14 YHWH enters into judgment With [the] elderly of His people, and its heads: “And you, you have consumed the vineyard, Plunder of the poor [is] in your houses.
La Eternulo faros juĝan proceson kontraŭ la plejaĝuloj de Lia popolo kaj kontraŭ ĝiaj estroj: Vi ruinigis la vinberĝardenon; havo, kiun vi rabis de malriĉuloj, estas en viaj domoj.
15 Why? Why do you [do this]? You bruise My people, And you grind the faces of the poor.” A declaration of the Lord, YHWH of Hosts, And YHWH says:
Kial vi premas Mian popolon kaj ofendas la malriĉulojn? diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo Cebaot.
16 “Because that daughters of Zion have been haughty, And they walk stretching out the neck, And deceiving [with] the eyes, They go walking and mincing, And they make a jingling with their feet,
Kaj la Eternulo diras: Pro tio, ke la filinoj de Cion fieriĝis, kaj iras kun etendita kolo kaj kun malmodesta rigardo, iras kaj koketas, kaj tintas per ĉenetoj sur la piedoj:
17 The Lord has also scabbed The crown of the head of daughters of Zion, And YHWH exposes their simplicity.
la Sinjoro senharigos la verton de la filinoj de Cion, kaj la Eternulo nudigos ilian hontindaĵon.
18 In that day the Lord turns aside The beauty of the jingling ornaments, And of the embroidered works, And of the crescents,
En tiu tago la Sinjoro forigos la ornamon de la ĉenetoj kaj la steletojn kaj la lunetojn,
19 Of the pendants, and the bracelets, and the veils,
la orelringojn, la ĉenetojn kaj la ĉirkaŭligojn,
20 Of the headdresses, and the ornaments of the legs, And of the bands, And of the perfume boxes, and the amulets,
la brilaĵetojn kaj la bukojn kaj la laĉojn kaj la parfumujojn kaj la talismanojn,
21 Of the seals, and of the nose-rings,
la ringojn kaj la nazringojn,
22 Of the costly apparel, and of the mantles, And of the coverings, and of the purses,
la multekostajn vestojn kaj la mantelojn kaj la vualojn kaj la saketojn,
23 Of the mirrors, and of the linen garments, And of the hoods, and of the veils,
la spegulojn kaj la delikatajn ŝtofojn kaj la kapornamojn kaj la kaptukojn.
24 And it has been, instead of spice is muck, And instead of a girdle, a rope, And instead of curled work, baldness, And instead of a stomacher a girdle of sackcloth.
Kaj anstataŭ bonodoro estos malbonodoro, kaj anstataŭ zono estos ŝnuro, kaj anstataŭ krispaj haroj estos kalvo, kaj anstataŭ eleganta mantelo estos sako, anstataŭ beleco estos brulmakuloj.
25 For instead of glory, your men fall by sword, And your might in battle.
Viaj viroj falos de glavo, kaj viaj fortuloj en la milito.
26 And her openings have lamented and mourned, Indeed, she has been emptied, she sits on the earth!”
Kaj ĝiaj pordegoj ploros kaj funebros, kaj mizere ĝi sidos sur la tero.
