< Isaiah 3 >

1 For behold, the Lord, YHWH of Hosts, Is turning aside from Jerusalem and from Judah [Both] stay and staff: Every stay of bread and every stay of water;

Ji nosandre kendgi giwegi, ka ngʼato sando mana wadgi owuon bende jogo modak mokiewo nosandre kendgi giwegi. Jomatindo notug lweny gi jomadongo, kendo ji ajiya nocha joma ogen.
6 When one lays hold on his brother, Of the house of his father, [by] the garment, “Come, you are a ruler to us, And this ruin [is] under your hand.”
Ngʼato nochun achiel kuom owetene manie dala wuon-gi kowacho niya, “In ema in-gi lep loch, koro telnwa; kendo ibed gi teko ewi pinywa mokethoreni.”
7 He lifts up, in that day, saying, “I am not a binder up, And in my house is neither bread nor garment, You do not make me a ruler of the people.”
To e kindeno ngʼatno nodwoki niya, “Ooyo ok dabed ruodhu, nimar aonge gi chiemo kata lewni e oda madimi uketa abed jatend ogandani.”
8 For Jerusalem has stumbled, and Judah has fallen, For their tongue and their doings [are] against YHWH, To provoke the eyes of His glory.

9 The appearance of their faces witnessed against them, And their sin, as Sodom, they declared, They have not hidden! Woe to their soul, For they have done evil to themselves.
Wangʼ-gi nyiso ni gin joricho kendo richogi oyangore e lela mana ka richo mane ni Sodom, bende gionge gi wichkuot. Yaye, mano kaka ginine malit nikech gisekelo masira kuomgi giwegi.

11 Woe to the wicked—evil, Because the deed of his hand is done to him.
Yaye, mano kaka nobed malit ne joricho nikech masira nobed kuomgi. Enokumgi kuom gik maricho ma lwetgi osetimo.
12 My people—its exactors [are] sucklings, And women have ruled over it. My people—your eulogists are causing to err, And the way of your paths swallowed up.
Jomatindo ema thiro joga kendo mon ema jotendgi. Yaye joga, jotendu osewuondou, momiyo ubaro uweyo yo.
13 YHWH has stood up to plead, And He is standing to judge the peoples.

15 Why? Why do you [do this]? You bruise My people, And you grind the faces of the poor.” A declaration of the Lord, YHWH of Hosts, And YHWH says:
En angʼo momiyo usando kendo uthiro joga modhier?” Ruoth Nyasaye, ma en Jehova Nyasaye Maratego ema owacho.
16 “Because that daughters of Zion have been haughty, And they walk stretching out the neck, And deceiving [with] the eyes, They go walking and mincing, And they make a jingling with their feet,
Jehova Nyasaye wacho niya, “Mond Sayun sungore kendo kawore, gingʼayo ngʼutgi malo, kendo giningʼo wengegi. Bende giwuotho ka gingʼadore, ka gara manie tiendgi ywak.
17 The Lord has also scabbed The crown of the head of daughters of Zion, And YHWH exposes their simplicity.
Kuom mano Ruoth Nyasaye biro kelo adhonde ewi mond Sayun, kendo Jehova Nyasaye nomi timbegi mamono nenre ratiro.”
18 In that day the Lord turns aside The beauty of the jingling ornaments, And of the embroidered works, And of the crescents,
Odiechiengʼno Ruoth Nyasaye biro mayogi gik ma gilichorego kaka: bangli gi kitembini mag wich kod tigo mag ngʼut,
19 Of the pendants, and the bracelets, and the veils,
gi tigo miliero e it gi bangli mag lwetgi kod kitamba miliero e ngʼut,
20 Of the headdresses, and the ornaments of the legs, And of the bands, And of the perfume boxes, and the amulets,

21 Of the seals, and of the nose-rings,

23 Of the mirrors, and of the linen garments, And of the hoods, and of the veils,
kod kio, gi lewni mabeyo gi lewni miliero e ngʼut kod mago miumogo wangʼ.
24 And it has been, instead of spice is muck, And instead of a girdle, a rope, And instead of curled work, baldness, And instead of a stomacher a girdle of sackcloth.
Kar winjo tik mangʼwe ngʼar to unuwinj mana tik madungʼ marach; kar bedo gi okanda to tol ema nutwerugo; kar bedo gi yie wich molos maber to bondo ema unudongʼ-go; kar bedo gi lewni mabeyo to unurwak mana pien gugru, kar bedo gi wangʼ man-gi chia to adhonde nopongʼ dendu.
25 For instead of glory, your men fall by sword, And your might in battle.
Chwou notiek gi ligangla kendo jolweny magu norum e lweny.
26 And her openings have lamented and mourned, Indeed, she has been emptied, she sits on the earth!”
Nduru gi ywak mag dengo nopongʼ dhorongeye mag Sayun, kendo dalano nodongʼ nono kokethore.
