Isaiah 26
1 In that day this song is sung in the land of Judah: “We have a strong city, He makes salvation [for] walls and bulwark.
௧அக்காலத்திலே யூதாதேசத்தில் பாடப்படும் பாட்டாவது: பெலனான நகரம் நமக்கு உண்டு; காப்பாற்றுதலையே அதற்கு மதிலும் பாதுகாப்புமாக ஏற்படுத்துவார்.
2 Open the gates, That a righteous nation may enter, Preserving steadfastness.
௨சத்தியத்தைக் கைக்கொண்டுவருகிற நீதியுள்ள தேசம் உள்ளே நுழைவதற்காக வாசல்களைத் திறவுங்கள்.
3 You keep [him] in peace [whose] imagination [is] stayed—peace! For he is confident in You.
௩உம்மை உறுதியாகப் பற்றிக்கொண்ட மனதையுடையவன் உம்மையே நம்பியிருக்கிறதினால், நீர் அவனைப் பூரண சமாதானத்துடன் காத்துக்கொள்வீர்.
4 Trust in YHWH forever, For in YAH—YHWH [is] a rock of ages,
௪யெகோவாவை என்றென்றைக்கும் நம்புங்கள்; கர்த்தராகிய யேகோவா நிலையான கன்மலையாயிருக்கிறார்.
5 For He bowed down the dwellers on high, A city set on high He makes low, He makes it low to the earth, He causes it to come to the dust,
௫அவர் உயரத்திலே வாசமாயிருக்கிறவர்களையும் கீழே தள்ளுகிறார்; உயர்ந்த நகரத்தையும் தாழ்த்துகிறார்; அவர் தரைவரை தாழ்த்தி அது மண்ணாகும்வரை இடியச்செய்வார்.
6 A foot treads it down, Feet of the poor—steps of the weak.
௬கால் அதை மிதிக்கும், சிறுமையானவர்களின் காலும் எளிமையானவர்களின் அடிகளுமே அதை மிதிக்கும்.
7 The path for the righteous [is] uprightness, O upright One, You ponder the path of the righteous.
௭நீதிமானுடைய பாதை செம்மையாயிருக்கிறது; மகா நீதிபரராகிய நீர் நீதிமானுடைய பாதையைச் செம்மைப்படுத்துகிறீர்.
8 Also, [in] the path of Your judgments, O YHWH, we have waited [for] You, To Your Name and to Your remembrance [Is] the desire of the soul.
௮யெகோவாவே, உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளின் வழியிலே உமக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறோம்; உமது பெயரும், உம்மை நினைக்கும் நினைவும் எங்கள் ஆத்தும வாஞ்சையாயிருக்கிறது.
9 I desired You in the night [with] my soul, Also, I seek You earnestly [with] my spirit within me, For when Your judgments [are] on the earth, The inhabitants of the world have learned righteousness.
௯என் ஆத்துமா இரவிலே உம்மை வாஞ்சிக்கிறது; எனக்குள் இருக்கிற என் ஆவியால் அதிகாலையிலும் உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன்; உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் பூமியிலே நடக்கும்போது பூமியிலுள்ள மக்கள் நீதியைக் கற்றுக்கொள்வார்கள்.
10 The wicked finds favor, He has not learned righteousness, He deals perversely in a land of straightforwardness, And does not see the excellence of YHWH.
௧0துன்மார்க்கனுக்குத் தயைசெய்தாலும் நீதியைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளமாட்டான்; நீதியுள்ள தேசத்திலும் அவன் அநியாயஞ்செய்து யெகோவாவுடைய மகத்துவத்தைக் கவனிக்காமல்போகிறான்.
11 O YHWH, Your hand [is] high—they do not see, They see the zeal of the people, and are ashamed, Also, the fire consumes Your adversaries.
௧௧யெகோவாவே, உமது கை ஓங்கியிருக்கிறது; அவர்கள் அதைக் காணாதிருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் உமது மக்களுக்காக நீர் வைத்திருக்கும் வைராக்கியத்தைக்கண்டு வெட்கப்படுவார்கள்; அக்கினி உம்முடைய எதிரிகளை எரிக்கும்.
12 O YHWH, You appoint peace to us, For You have also worked all our works for us.
௧௨யெகோவாவே, எங்களுக்குச் சமாதானத்தைக் கட்டளையிடுவீர்; எங்கள் செயல்களையெல்லாம் எங்களுக்காக நடத்திவருகிறவர் நீரே.
13 O our God YHWH, lords have ruled us besides You, Only, by You we make mention of Your Name.
௧௩எங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவே, உம்மையல்லாமல் வேறே ஆண்டவன்மார் எங்களை ஆண்டார்கள்; இனி உம்மை மாத்திரம் சார்ந்து உம்முடைய நாமத்தைப் பிரஸ்தாபப்படுத்துவோம்.
14 Dead—they do not live, Rephaim, they do not rise, Therefore You have inspected and destroy them, Indeed, you destroy all their memory.
௧௪அவர்கள் இறந்தவர்கள், உயிரடையமாட்டார்கள்; இறந்த இராட்சதர் திரும்ப எழுந்திருக்கமாட்டார்கள்; நீர் அவர்களை விசாரித்து அழித்து, அவர்கள் பெயரையும் அழியச்செய்தீர்.
15 You have added to the nation, O YHWH, You have added to the nation, You have been honored, You have put all the ends of the earth far off.
௧௫இந்த தேசத்தைப் பெருகச்செய்தீர்; யெகோவாவே, இந்த தேசத்தைப் பெருகச்செய்தீர்; நீர் மகிமைப்பட்டீர், தேசத்தின் எல்லை எல்லாவற்றையும் அதிக தூரத்தில் தள்ளிவைத்தீர்.
16 O YHWH, in distress they missed You, They have poured out a whisper, Your discipline [is] on them.
௧௬யெகோவாவே, நெருக்கத்தில் உம்மைத் தேடினார்கள்; உம்முடைய தண்டனை அவர்கள் மேலிருக்கும்போது உள்ளத்தில் வேண்டுதல் செய்தார்கள்.
17 When a pregnant woman comes near to the birth, She is pained—she cries in her pangs, So we have been from Your face, O YHWH.
௧௭யெகோவாவே, பிரசவநேரம் நெருங்கியிருக்கும்போது வேதனைப்பட்டு, தன் வேதனையில் கூப்பிடுகிற கர்ப்பவதியைப்போல, உமக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிறோம்.
18 We have conceived, we have been pained. We have brought forth, as it were, wind, We do not work salvation in the earth, Nor do the inhabitants of the world fall.
௧௮நாங்கள் கர்ப்பமாயிருந்து வேதனைப்பட்டு, காற்றைப் பெற்றவர்களைப்போல் இருக்கிறோம்; தேசத்தில் ஒரு பாதுகாப்பையும் செய்யமுடியாதிருக்கிறோம்; பூமியில் உள்ள மக்கள் விழுகிறதுமில்லை.
19 Your dead live—My dead body, they rise. Awake and sing, you dwellers in the dust, For the dew of herbs [is] your dew, And you cause the land of Rephaim to fall.
௧௯இறந்த உம்முடையவர்கள் பிரேதமான என்னுடையவர்களுடன் எழுந்திருப்பார்கள்; மண்ணிலே தங்கியிருக்கிறவர்களே, விழித்துக் கெம்பீரியுங்கள்; உம்முடைய பனி பயிர்களின்மேல் பெய்யும் பனிபோல் இருக்கும்; இறந்தவர்களைப் பூமி புறப்படச்செய்யும்.
20 Come, My people, enter into your inner chambers, And shut your doors behind you, Hide yourself shortly [for] a moment until the indignation passes over.
௨0என் மக்களே, நீ போய் உன் அறைகளுக்குள்ளே நுழைந்து, உன் கதவுகளைப் பூட்டிக்கொண்டு, கோபம் தணியும்வரை கொஞ்சநேரம் ஒளித்துக்கொள்.
21 For behold, YHWH is coming out of His place, To charge the iniquity of the inhabitant of the earth on him, And the earth has revealed her blood, Nor does she cover her slain anymore!”
௨௧இதோ, பூமியிலுள்ள மக்களின் அக்கிரமத்தின்காரணமாக அவர்களை விசாரிக்க யெகோவா தம்முடைய இடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுவருவார்; பூமி தன் இரத்தப்பழிகளை வெளிப்படுத்தி, தன்னிடத்தில் கொலை செய்யப்பட்டவர்களை இனி மூடாதிருக்கும்.
