Isaiah 15
1 The burden of Moab. Because in a night Ar of Moab was destroyed—It has been cut off, Because in a night Kir of Moab was destroyed—It has been cut off.

2 He has gone up to Bajith and Dibon, The high places—to weep, Moab howls on Nebo and on Medeba, Baldness [is] on all its heads, every beard cut off.
Uz Baītu un Dibonu, uz elku kalniem iet raudāt; uz Nebus un uz Medbas Moabs kauc. Visas viņu galvas ir nodzītas plikas un visiem bārda nogriezta.
3 In its out-places they girded on sackcloth, On its pinnacles, and in its broad places, Everyone howls—going down with weeping.
Savās ielās tie iet apjozušies ar maisiem, pa saviem jumtiem un ceļiem visi kauc un plūst asarās.
4 And Heshbon and Elealeh cry, Their voice has been heard to Jahaz, Therefore the armed ones of Moab shout, His life has been grievous to him.
Hešbona un Eleale brēc, viņas balss top dzirdēta līdz Jācai. Tādēļ vaid paši Moaba apbruņotie, dvēsele viņam trīc.
5 My heart [is] toward Moab, Her fugitives cry to Zoar, a heifer of the third [year], For—the ascent of Luhith—He goes up in it with weeping, For in the way of Horonaim, They wake up a cry of destruction.
Mana sirds brēc par Moabu; viņa bēgļi bēg līdz Coārai, līdz EglatŠilišijai; jo uz Luķitu kāpj ar raudāšanu, un ceļā pret Horonaīm kliedz par izpostīšanu.
6 For the waters of Nimrim are desolations, For the hay has been withered, The tender grass has been finished, There has not been a green thing.
Jo Nimrim ūdeņi izsīkuši; jo zāle nokaltusi, zaļums iznīcis, nekas vairs nezeļ.
7 Therefore the abundance he made, and their store, They carry to the Brook of the Willows.
Tāpēc to krājumu, ko sakrājuši, un ko glabājuši, to tie ved pār kārklu upi.
8 For the cry has gone around the border of Moab, Its howling [is] to Eglaim, And its howling [is] to Beer-Elim.
Jo brēkšana iet pa Moaba robežām, viņa kaukšana līdz Eglaīm, viņa kaukšana līdz Elim akai.
9 For the waters of Dimon have been full of blood, For I set additions on Dimon, A lion for the escaped of Moab, And for the remnant of Adamah!
Jo Dimonas ūdeņi ir pilni asiņu. Jo vēl vairāk Es uzlikšu Dimonai, lauvu tiem, kas Moabā izglābušies un tai zemē atlikuši.
