Isaiah 15

1 The burden of Moab. Because in a night Ar of Moab was destroyed—It has been cut off, Because in a night Kir of Moab was destroyed—It has been cut off.

১মোয়াবের বিষয়ে এই কথা: প্রকৃত পক্ষে, রাতের মধ্যে মোয়াবের আর্ নামের শহরটা নষ্ট ও ধ্বংস হল এবং মোয়াবের কীর শহরটা এক রাতের মধ্যেই নষ্ট ও ধ্বংস হয়ে গেছে।

2 He has gone up to Bajith and Dibon, The high places—to weep, Moab howls on Nebo and on Medeba, Baldness [is] on all its heads, every beard cut off.

২মোয়াবের লোকেরা কাঁদবার জন্য দীবোনের মন্দিরে ও উঁচু জায়গায় গিয়েছে। তারা নবো ও মেদবার ওপরে বিলাপ করছে। তাদের সকলের মাথা কামানো হয়েছে এবং দাড়িও কাটা হয়েছে।

3 In its out-places they girded on sackcloth, On its pinnacles, and in its broad places, Everyone howls—going down with weeping.

৩তাদের লোক রাস্তায় রাস্তায় চট পরেছে। তারা সবাই ছাদের উপরে ও শহর-চকের মধ্যে বিলাপ করছে। প্রত্যেকে কেঁদে গলে পড়েছে।

4 And Heshbon and Elealeh cry, Their voice has been heard to Jahaz, Therefore the armed ones of Moab shout, His life has been grievous to him.

৪হিশবোন ও ইলিয়ালী কাঁদছে; তাদের গলার স্বর যহস পর্যন্ত শোনা যাচ্ছে। সেইজন্য মোয়াবের সৈন্যেরাও চিত্কার করে কাঁদছে এবং তাদের হৃদয় ভয়ে কাঁপছে।

5 My heart [is] toward Moab, Her fugitives cry to Zoar, a heifer of the third [year], For—the ascent of Luhith—He goes up in it with weeping, For in the way of Horonaim, They wake up a cry of destruction.

৫মোয়াবের জন্য আমার হৃদয় কাঁদছে; তার লোকেরা সোয়রের দিকে ইগ্লৎ-শলিশীয়া পর্যন্ত পালিয়ে যাচ্ছে। তারা কাঁদতে কাঁদতে লূহীতের আরোহণ পথে যাচ্ছে; তাদের জায়গা ধ্বংস হয়েছে বলে তারা চিত্কার করে কাঁদতে কাঁদতে হোরণয়িমের রাস্তায় চলছে।

6 For the waters of Nimrim are desolations, For the hay has been withered, The tender grass has been finished, There has not been a green thing.

৬নিম্রীমের জল শুকিয়ে গেল ও ঘাস শুকিয়ে গেছে এবং নতুন গাছ মারা গেছে, সবুজ বলতে কিছুই নেই।

7 Therefore the abundance he made, and their store, They carry to the Brook of the Willows.

৭তারা তাদের জমানো ধন-সম্পদ তারা উইলো গাছের তীরের ওপাশে নিয়ে যাচ্ছে।

8 For the cry has gone around the border of Moab, Its howling [is] to Eglaim, And its howling [is] to Beer-Elim.

৮মোয়াবের সীমার চারপাশে তাদের কান্নার শব্দ গিয়েছে; ইগ্লয়িম ও বের-এলীম পর্যন্ত তাদের বিলাপ শোনা যাচ্ছে।

9 For the waters of Dimon have been full of blood, For I set additions on Dimon, A lion for the escaped of Moab, And for the remnant of Adamah!

৯কারণ দীমোনের জল রক্তে ভরা, কিন্তু আমি তার উপরে আরও দুঃখ আনব; মোয়াবের পালিয়ে যাওয়া লোকদের ওপরে এবং যারা দেশে বেঁচে থাকবে তাদের ওপরে সিংহ আঘাত করবে।
