< Isaiah 12 >
1 And you have said in that day: “I thank you, O YHWH, Though You have been angry with me, Your anger turns back, And You comfort me.
And thou shalt say in that day: I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, for thou wast angry with me: thy wrath is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.
2 Behold, God [is] my salvation, I trust, and do not fear, For my strength and song [is] YAH—YHWH, And He is to me for salvation.
Behold, God is my saviour, I will deal confidently, and will not fear: O because the Lord is my strength, and my praise, and he is become my salvation.
3 And you have drawn waters with joy Out of the fountains of salvation,
You shall draw waters with joy out of the saviour’s fountains:
4 And you have said in that day, Give praise to YHWH, call on His Name. Make His acts known among the peoples. Make mention that His Name is set on high.
And you shall say in that day: Praise ye the Lord, and call upon his name: make his works known among the people: remember that his name is high.
5 Praise YHWH, for He has done excellence, This is known in all the earth.
Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath done great things: shew this forth in all the earth.
6 Cry aloud, and sing, O inhabitant of Zion, For the Holy One of Israel [is] great in your midst!”
Rejoice, and praise, O thou habitation of Sion: for great is he that is in the midst of thee, the Holy One of Israel.
