Hosea 5
1 “Hear this, O priests, and attend, O house of Israel, And, O house of the king, give ear, For the judgment [is] for you, For you have been a snare on Mizpah, And a net spread out on Tabor.
੧ਹੇ ਜਾਜਕੋ, ਇਹ ਨਾ ਸੁਣੋ! ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਾਲਿਓ, ਧਿਆਨ ਦਿਓ! ਹੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਾਲਿਓ, ਕੰਨ ਲਾਓ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਮਿਸਪਾਹ ਲਈ ਫੰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤਾਬੋਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਛਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਾਲ਼।
2 And to slaughter sinners have gone deep, And I [am] a chain to them all.
੨ਬਾਗੀ ਵੱਢਣ ਟੁੱਕਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਾਂ।
3 I have known Ephraim, And Israel has not been hid from Me, For now you have gone whoring, Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
੩ਮੈਂ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਲੁਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਨਹੀਂ, ਹੇ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ, ਤੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਪਲੀਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
4 They do not give up their habitual doings, To turn back to their God, For a spirit of whoredoms [is] in their midst, And YHWH they have not known.
੪ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਰਤੂਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਦੀ ਰੂਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ।
5 And humbled has been the excellence of Israel to his face, And Israel and Ephraim stumble by their iniquity, Judah has also stumbled with them.
੫ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਦੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਠੋਕਰ ਖਾਣਗੇ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਠੋਕਰ ਖਾਵੇਗਾ।
6 With their flock and with their herd, They go to seek YHWH, and do not find, He has withdrawn from them.
੬ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਜੜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਨਿੱਕਲਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਲੱਭਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
7 Against YHWH they dealt treacherously, For they have begotten strange sons, Now a month consumes them [with] their portions.
੭ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਜ਼ਾਇਜ ਬੱਚੇ ਜੰਮੇ, ਹੁਣ ਨਵਾਂ ਚੰਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
8 Blow a horn in Gibeah, a trumpet in Ramah, Shout, O Beth-Aven, after you, O Benjamin.
੮ਗਿਬਆਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਰਸਿੰਗਾ ਫੂਕੋ! ਰਾਮਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ! ਬੈਤ-ਆਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਢੋਲ ਵਜਾਓ, - ਹੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ, ਪਿੱਛੇ ਵੇਖ!
9 Ephraim is for a desolation in a day of reproof, I have made known a sure thing among the tribes of Israel.
੯ਝਿੜਕ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਗੋਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਓਹੀ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਪੱਕਾ ਹੈ।
10 Princes of Judah have been as those removing a border, I pour out My wrath as water on them.
੧੦ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਬਾੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਭੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਹਾਵਾਂਗਾ!
11 Ephraim is oppressed, broken in judgment, When he pleased he went after the command.
੧੧ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦਬਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਨਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਚਿੱਥਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਿੱਦ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਗਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
12 And I [am] as a moth to Ephraim, And as a rotten thing to the house of Judah.
੧੨ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਲਈ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੀੜੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਲਈ ਘੁਣ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹਾਂ।
13 And Ephraim sees his sickness, and Judah his wound, And Ephraim goes to Asshur, And sends to a warlike king, And he is not able to give healing to you, Nor does he remove a scar from you.
੧੩ਜਦ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਰੋਗ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜ਼ਖਮ ਨੂੰ, ਤਾਂ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਝਗੜਾਲੂ ਰਾਜੇ ਕੋਲ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ, ਨਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਜ਼ਖਮ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
14 For I [am] as a lion to Ephraim, And as a young lion to the house of Judah, I tear and go, I carry away, and there is no deliverer.
੧੪ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਲਈ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਲਈ ਜੁਆਨ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ, ਮੈਂ, ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਪਾੜਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਚੁੱਕ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
15 I go—I return to My place, Until they are desolate, and have sought My face. In their distress they seek Me speedily!”
੧੫ਮੈਂ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜਾਂਗਾ, ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਨਾ ਮੰਨ ਲੈਣ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਦੇ ਖੋਜੀ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਲਣਗੇ।
