Hosea 4
1 “Hear a word of YHWH, sons of Israel, For a strife [is] to YHWH with inhabitants of the land, For there is no truth, nor kindness, Nor knowledge of God in the land;
१इस्राएलाच्या लोकांनो, परमेश्वराचा शब्द ऐका, या देशातील लोकांविरुध्द परमेश्वराचा वाद आहे; कारण या देशामध्ये सत्यता किंवा करारबध्द विश्वासूपणा, देवाचे ज्ञान नाही.
2 Swearing, and lying, and murdering, And stealing, and committing adultery—have increased, And blood has touched against blood.
२तर येथे शाप देणे, लबाड बोलणे, जीव घेणे, चोरी करणे आणि व्यभिचार करणे आहे. या लोकांनी सर्व नियम मोडले आहेत व इथे रक्तपातानंतर रक्तपात होत आहे.
3 Therefore the land mourns, And every dweller is weak in it, With the beast of the field, And with the bird of the heavens, And the fishes of the sea—they are removed.
३म्हणून ही भूमी कोरडी पडत आहे, जो कोणी येथे राहतो तो नाश पावत आहे, रानपशू, आकाशातील पाखरे, समुद्रातील मासेही नाहीसे होत आहेत.
4 Only, let no one strive, nor reprove a man, And your people [are] as those striving with a priest.
४पण कुणालाही वाद घालू देऊ नका, कोणीही कोणावर आरोप न लावो, कारण याजकांनो हे तुम्ही आहात ज्यांस मी दोष लावत आहे.
5 And you have stumbled in the day, And a prophet has also stumbled with you in the night, And I have cut off your mother.
५आणि तू दिवसा अडखळून पडशील आणि तुझासुद्धा भविष्यवादीही रात्री अडखळून पडेल; आणि मी तुझ्या आईचा नाश करेन.
6 My people have been cut off for lack of knowledge, Because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being priest to Me, And you forget the Law of your God—I forget your sons, I also!
६माझे लोक ज्ञान नसल्याने नाश पावत आहेत. कारण तुम्ही ज्ञानास नाकारले म्हणून मी सुध्दा तुम्हास माझे याजक म्हणून नाकारीन. माझे, तुमच्या देवाचे नियमशास्त्र तुम्ही विसरलात म्हणून मी ही तुमच्या मुलांना विसरेन.
7 According to their abundance so they sinned against Me, I change their glory into shame.
७जसे हे याजक वाढत गेले तसे ते माझ्या विरोधात पाप करत गेले. मी त्यांचा सन्मान लाजेमध्ये बदलून टाकीन.
8 The sin of My people they eat, And to their iniquity lift up their soul.
८ते माझ्या लोकांच्या पापावर जगतात. त्यांच्या दुष्टतेकडे त्याचे मन लागलेले आहे.
9 And it has been, like people, like priest, And I have charged on it its ways, And its habitual doings I return to it.
९आणि जसे लोक तसा याजक असे होईल, आणि मी त्यांच्या आचरणामुळे त्यांना शासन करीन, आणि त्यांना त्यांच्या कर्मांचे फळ देईन.
10 And they have eaten, and are not satisfied, They have gone whoring, and do not increase, For they have left off taking heed to YHWH.
१०ते खातील पण ते त्यास पुरणार नाही; ते व्यभिचार करतील पण त्यांची वाढ होणार नाही, कारण ते आपला देव, परमेश्वर, यापासून खूप दूर गेले आहेत.
11 Whoredom, and wine, and new wine, take the heart,
११वेश्यागमन, द्राक्षरस, आणि नवा द्राक्षरस यांनी त्यांचा विवेक काढून घेतला आहे.
12 My people at its staff asks and its rod declares to it, For a spirit of whoredoms has caused to err, And they go whoring from under their God.
१२माझे लोक त्यांच्या लाकडी मुर्तीचा सल्ला घेतात, त्यांच्या काठ्या त्यांना भविष्य सांगतात. गुंतागुंतीच्या आत्म्याने त्यांना बहकवले आहे, आणि त्यांनी माझा, त्यांच्या परमेश्वराचा त्याग केला आहे.
13 On tops of the mountains they sacrifice, And on the hills they make incense, Under oak, and poplar, and terebinth, For good [is] its shade.
१३ते पर्वतांच्या शिखरावर बलिदान करतात आणि टेकडयांवर धूप जाळतात, ओक, हिवर, आणि धूप जाळतात, कारण त्यांची सावली चांगली (छान) असते; म्हणून तुमच्या मुली जारकर्म करतात व सुना व्यभिचार करतात.
14 Therefore your daughters commit whoredom, And your spouses commit adultery, I do not see after your daughters when they commit whoredom, And after your spouses when they commit adultery, For they with the harlots are separated, And with the whores they sacrifice, A people that does not understand kicks.
१४तुमच्या मुली जारकर्म करतात व सुना व्यभिचार करतात तेव्हा मी त्यांना शासन करणार नाही कारण पुरुष स्वत: वेश्येकडे वेगळे होऊन जातात, आणि कलावंतिणींबरोबर यज्ञ करतात; हे विवेकहीन लोक आहेत, ते नाश पावतील.
15 Though you [are] a harlot, O Israel, Do not let Judah become guilty, And do not come to Gilgal, nor go up to Beth-Aven, Nor swear, YHWH lives.
१५हे इस्राएला जरी तू व्यभिचार केला आहेस, तरी यहूदा दोषी न होवो; तुम्ही लोकहो, गिल्गालास जाऊ नका, वर बेथ अवेनास जाऊ नका, परमेश्वरांच्या जिविताची शपथ वाहू नका.
16 For Israel has turned aside as a stubborn heifer, Now YHWH feeds them as a lamb in a large place.
१६कारण इस्राएल हट्टी कालवडी सारखा हट्टी वागला आहे. मग परमेश्वर त्यास कोकरे जसे कुरणात चरतात तसा गायरानात कसा आणणार?
17 Ephraim is joined to idols, leave him alone.
१७एफ्राईम मुर्तीसोबत एक झाला आहे, त्यास एकटे सोडा.
18 Sour [is] their drink, They have gone whoring diligently, Her protectors have thoroughly loved shame.
१८त्यांचा द्राक्षरस आंबट झाला आहे; ते एकसारखे व्यभिचार करतच राहतात. तिच्या अधिकाऱ्यास अप्रतिष्ठा अतिप्रिय आहे.
19 Wind has distressed her with its wings, And they are ashamed of their sacrifices!”
१९वारा आपल्या पंखात तिला लपेटून नेईन, आणि ते आपल्या बलिदानांमुळे लज्जित होतील.
