< Hosea 3 >
1 And YHWH says to me: “Again, go, love a woman, loved of a friend, and an adulteress, like the loved of YHWH, the sons of Israel, and they are turning to other gods, and are lovers of grape-cakes.”
Mukama n’aŋŋamba nti, “Genda, mukyala wo oyongere okumwagala, newaakubadde nga mwenzi era yakwaniddwa omusajja omulala. Mwagale nga Mukama bw’ayagala Abayisirayiri newaakubadde nga bakyukira bakatonda abalala ne baagala obugaati obw’emizabbibu enkalu obuwonge eri bakatonda abalala.”
2 And I buy her for myself for fifteen pieces of silver, and a homer and a lethech of barley;
Awo ne mmugula n’effeeza obuzito bwayo gulaamu kikumi mu nsavu ne lita ebikumi bisatu mu amakumi asatu eza sayiri.
3 and I say to her, “You remain many days for Me, you do not go whoring, nor become anyone’s; and I also [am] for you.”
Bwe ntyo ne mugamba nti, “Oteekwa okubeera nange ebbanga lyonna. Lekeraawo okukuba obwamalaaya, oba okukola obwenzi, nange bwe ntyo naabeeranga naawe.”
4 For the sons of Israel remain without a king for many days, and there is no prince, and there is no sacrifice, and there is no standing pillar, and there is no ephod and teraphim.
Era bwe batyo abaana ba Isirayiri bwe balibeera okumala ennaku ennyingi nga tebalina kabaka newaakubadde omulangira, nga tebakyawaayo ssaddaaka eri bakatonda abalala, newaakubadde okusinza amayinja amawonge oba bakatonda abalala, wadde efodi.
5 Afterward the sons of Israel have turned back, and sought their God YHWH, and David their king, and have hurried to YHWH, and to His goodness, in the latter end of the days.
N’oluvannyuma abaana ba Isirayiri balidda ne banoonya Mukama Katonda waabwe ne Dawudi kabaka waabwe. Balijja eri Mukama nga bakankana nga banoonya emikisa gye mu nnaku ez’oluvannyuma.
