< Hosea 3 >

1 And YHWH says to me: “Again, go, love a woman, loved of a friend, and an adulteress, like the loved of YHWH, the sons of Israel, and they are turning to other gods, and are lovers of grape-cakes.”
Jehova Nyasaye nowachona niya, “Dhiyo, inyis herani ni chiegi kendo, kata obedo ni ohere gi ngʼama chielo, kendo en jachode. Here kaka Nyasaye ohero jo-Israel, kata obedo ni gisebaro ka gihero nyiseche moko kendo gihero chiwonigi misengini mag mzabibu motwo.”
2 And I buy her for myself for fifteen pieces of silver, and a homer and a lethech of barley;
Omiyo ne angʼiewe kuom shekel apar gabich mag fedha gi gunde ariyo mag shairi.
3 and I say to her, “You remain many days for Me, you do not go whoring, nor become anyone’s; and I also [am] for you.”
Eka ne awachone niya, “Nyaka idag koda kuom ndalo mathoth; nyaka iwe timbegi mag chode kata riwori gi ngʼato, to abiro dak kodi.”
4 For the sons of Israel remain without a king for many days, and there is no prince, and there is no sacrifice, and there is no standing pillar, and there is no ephod and teraphim.
Nimar jo-Israel biro dak ndalo mangʼeny ka gionge gi ruoth kata jotelo, ka ok gitim misango maonge kido moro milamo, kata law akor mar dolo miluongo ni efod kata nyiseche manono.
5 Afterward the sons of Israel have turned back, and sought their God YHWH, and David their king, and have hurried to YHWH, and to His goodness, in the latter end of the days.
To bangʼe jo-Israel biro duogo ka gidwaro Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachgi gi Daudi ruodhgi. Ginibi ka gitetni e nyim Jehova Nyasaye kendo e gwethne e ndalo mogik.
