< Hosea 13 >

1 “When Ephraim speaks tremblingly, He has been lifted up in Israel, When he becomes guilty in Ba‘al he dies.
Markii reer Efrayim hadleen waxaa jiray gariir, oo dalka Israa'iil ayay isku dhex sarraysiiyeen, laakiinse markay Bacal ku gardarnaadeen ayay dhinteen.
2 And now they sin, And make for themselves a molten image of their silver, By their own understanding—idols, A work of artisans—all of it, Of them they say, who [are] sacrificers among men, The calves let them kiss.
Oo haatan aad bay u sii dembaabaan, oo waxay lacagtooda ka samaysteen taswiiro la shubay kuwaasoo ah xataa sanamyo ay u samaysteen sida ay waxgarashadoodu tahay, oo dhammaantoodna waxaa weeye nin saanac ah sancadiis, oo waxay ka sheegaan, Dadka allabariga bixiya weylaha sanamyada ah ha dhunkadeen.
3 Therefore they are as a cloud of the morning, And as dew, rising early, going away, As chaff tossed about out of a floor, And as smoke out of a window.
Haddaba sidaas daraaddeed waxay noqon doonaan sida daruurta subaxnimo, iyo sida sayaxa aroor hore baabba'a, iyo sida buunshaha dabayshu ka kaxayso goobta hadhuudhka lagu tumo, iyo sida qiiqa sholadda ka baxa.
4 And I [am] your God YHWH from the land of Egypt, And you do not know a God besides Me, And a Savior—there is none except Me.
Laakiinse anigu waxaan ahay Rabbiga Ilaahiinna ah oo idinka soo bixiyey dalkii Masar, oo waa inaydaan aqoonsan ilaah kale aniga mooyaane, oo badbaadiye kale ma jiro innaba aniga mooyaane.
5 I have known you in a wilderness, In a land of droughts.
Anigu waan idin iqiin markii aad dhex joogteen cidladii ahayd dalka abaarta badan.
6 They are satiated according to their feedings, They have been satiated, And their heart is lifted up, Therefore they have forgotten Me,
Markii ay wax daaqeen ayay dhergeen, oo markay dhergeen dabadeed ayaa qalbigoodii kor u kacay, haddaba sidaas daraaddeed bay ii illoobeen.
7 And I am to them as a lion, I look out as a leopard by the way.
Sidaas daraaddeed waxaan iyaga ku ahay sida libaax oo kale, oo sida shabeel ayaan jidka ku ag dhawri doonaa.
8 I meet them as a bereaved bear, And I tear the enclosure of their heart, And I consume them there as a lioness, A beast of the field tears them.
Oo waxaan iyaga uga hor iman doonaa sida orso gabneheedii laga gablamiyey, oo waxaan jeexjeexi doonaa xuubkii wadnahooda, oo halkaasaan iyaga ku baabbi'in doonaa sidii gool libaax oo kale, oo waxaa iyaga dildillaacsan doona dugaagga.
9 You have destroyed yourself, O Israel, But in Me [is] your help;
Dadka Israa'iilow, baabbi'inna waxaa sabab u ah cadownimada aad ii qabtaan anoo caawiyihiinna ah.
10 Where [is] your king now—And he saves you in all your cities? And your judges of whom you said, Give a king and heads to me?
Haddaba magaalooyinkiinna oo dhan ha idinku badbaadiyee meeh boqorkiinnii? Oo meeye xaakinnadiinnii aad ka tidhaahdeen, Na sii boqor iyo amiirro?
11 I give to you a king in My anger, And I take away in My wrath.
Anigoo xanaaqsan ayaan boqor idin siiyey, oo haddana anigoo cadhaysan ayaan idinka qaaday.
12 Bound up [is] the iniquity of Ephraim, Hidden [is] his sin,
Xumaantii reer Efrayim waa xidhxidhan tahay, oo dembigoodiina meel baa lagu kaydiyey.
13 Pangs of a travailing woman come to him, He [is] not a wise son, For he does not remain [at] the time for the breaking forth of sons.
Oo waxaa iyaga ku soo kor degi doonta murugtii naag foolanaysa. Iyagu waa sida wiil aan caqli lahayn, waayo, haatan waa wakhtigii uusan ku sii raagin meeshii carruurtu ka soo dhalan jireen.
14 Will I ransom them from the hand of Sheol? Will I redeem them from death? Where [is] your plague, O death? Where your destruction, O Sheol? Comfort is hid from My eyes. (Sheol h7585)
Anigu waxaan iyaga ka soo furan doonaa xoogga She'oolka, oo waxaan ka soo badbaadin doonaa dhimashada. Dhimashoy, meeye belaayooyinkaagii? She'oolow, meeday baabbi'intaadii? Toobaddu indhahayga way ka qarsoonaan doontaa. (Sheol h7585)
15 Though he produces fruit among brothers, An east wind comes in, a wind of YHWH, From a wilderness it is coming up, And it dries up his fountain, And his spring becomes dry, It—it spoils a treasure—every desirable vessel.
In kastoo uu walaalihiis dhexdooda ku dhal badan yahay, waxaa iman doonta dabayl bari ka timid, taasoo ah neefta Rabbiga oo cidlada ka soo baxaysa, oo ishiisa biyood way engegi doontaa, oo durdurkiisuna wuu iska gudhi doonaa, oo waa laga wada dhici doonaa khasnadda alaabta qaaliga ahu ugu jirto.
16 Samaria becomes desolate, Because she has been rebellious against her God, They fall by sword, Their sucklings are dashed in pieces, And its pregnant ones are ripped up!”
Reer Samaariya gardarradooda way qaadi doonaan, waayo, way ku caasiyowdeen Ilaahoodii. Seef baa lagu layn doonaa, dhallaankoodana dhulkaa lagu tuuri doonaa, oo naagahooda uurka lehna waa la dooxi doonaa.
