< Hebrews 9 >
1 It had, indeed, then (even the first dwelling place) ordinances of service, also a worldly sanctuary,
Pa ri nabꞌe chꞌekom tzij ri Dios xuya ri ucholajil ri jastaq rech jeriꞌ kabꞌan ri qꞌijilaꞌnik che, are waꞌ ri ucholajil ri qꞌijilaꞌnik cho ri uwachulew.
2 for a dwelling place was prepared, the first, in which was both the lampstand, and the table, and the Bread of the Presentation—which is called “Holy”;
Rumal cher pa ri nabꞌe kꞌolibꞌal rech ri Tabernáculo, ri ubꞌiꞌnam tyoxalaj kꞌolibꞌal yaꞌtal wi ri kꞌolibꞌal kantela, ri mexa xuqujeꞌ ri kaxlan wa ri tzujtal choch ri Dios.
3 and after the second veil a dwelling place that is called “Holy of Holies,”
Chirij ri ukabꞌ tasbꞌal upam ri Tabernáculo ri utz kukꞌaꞌxik ri ubꞌiꞌnam sibꞌalaj tyoxalaj kꞌolibꞌal,
4 having a golden censer, and the Ark of the Covenant overlaid all over with gold, in which [is] the golden pot having the manna, and the rod of Aaron that budded, and the tablets of the covenant,
chilaꞌ kꞌo wi ri tzujbꞌal ri bꞌantal che qꞌana pwaq, xuqujeꞌ chilaꞌ kꞌo wi ri kaxa rech ri chꞌekom tzij ri chꞌuqtal che qꞌana pwaq. Pa ri kaxa kꞌo wi ri jun xaruꞌ bꞌantal che qꞌana pwaq ri yaꞌtal maná chupam, xuqujeꞌ ri uchꞌamiꞌy ri Aarón ri xtuxik, rachiꞌl ri lajuj taqanik ri tzꞌibꞌatalik cho ri kebꞌ tzꞌalam abꞌaj.
5 and over it cherubim of the glory, overshadowing the propitiatory covering, concerning which we are not to particularly speak now.
Puꞌwiꞌ ri kaxa e kꞌo kebꞌ angelibꞌ kibꞌiꞌnam e querubin rech ri juluwem rukꞌ ri kinanochꞌal kichꞌuqum ri chꞌuqbꞌal uwiꞌ ri arca. Man kuya ta kꞌut kujtzijon chirij chanim puꞌwiꞌ we riꞌ chanim.
6 And these things having been thus prepared, into the first dwelling place, indeed, the priests go in at all times, performing the services,
Jeriꞌ ubꞌanik we jastaq riꞌ pa ri tyoxalaj kꞌolibꞌal. Qꞌij chi qꞌij koꞌk bꞌik ri e chꞌawenelabꞌ cho ri Dios pa we kꞌolibꞌal riꞌ rech keꞌkiqꞌijilaꞌj ri Dios.
7 and into the second, once in the year, only the chief priest, not apart from blood, which he offers for himself and the errors of the people.
Pa ri sibꞌalaj tyoxalaj kꞌolibꞌal kꞌut xwi kokik ri kinimal ri chꞌawenelabꞌ, we riꞌ xaq junmul pa jun junabꞌ kakꞌulmatajik. Ri chꞌawenel are kok bꞌik pa ri sibꞌalaj tyoxalaj kꞌolibꞌal kukꞌam bꞌik kikꞌ rech kuta kuybꞌal umak areꞌ xuqujeꞌ kuꞌta kuybꞌal kimak ri winaq ri kemakunik man rukꞌ ta kichomabꞌal.
8 By this the Holy Spirit was making evident that the way of the holy [places] has not yet been revealed, the first dwelling place yet having a standing,
Rukꞌ we riꞌ, ri Tyoxalaj Uxlabꞌixel kuya uchꞌobꞌik chi are kꞌa kꞌo na we Tabernáculo riꞌ, man xaq ta xapachin kok pa ri sibꞌalaj Tyoxalaj kꞌolibꞌal.
9 which [is] an allegory in regard to the present time, in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, which are not able, in regard to conscience, to make perfect him who is serving,
Ronojel we riꞌ xbꞌanik rech jeriꞌ xkꞌut chiqawach chi ri sipanik xuqujeꞌ ri tzujuꞌnijik ri katzujik man kꞌo ta ukwinem chubꞌanik sukꞌ che ri kichomabꞌal ri kakibꞌan ri qꞌijilaꞌnik riꞌ.
10 only on the basis of food, and drinks, and different immersions, and fleshly ordinances—until the time of reformation imposed on [them].
Waꞌ we riꞌ xaq e jastaq tijowik rij, jastaq qumuxik rij, jastaq ri kabꞌanik rech kachꞌajchꞌojir ri winaq, we jastaq riꞌ xeya loq kꞌa pa ri qꞌij are xkꞌexen ronojel.
11 But Christ having come, Chief Priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect dwelling place not made with hands—that is, not of this creation—
Are kꞌu xul ri Cristo, ri kinimaꞌqil ri chꞌawenelabꞌ pa ri Tabernáculo ri man kiqꞌabꞌ ta achyabꞌ bꞌanowinaq, xuqujeꞌ man rech ta we uwachulew riꞌ,
12 neither through blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, entered in once into the holy places, having obtained continuous redemption; (aiōnios )
xok bꞌik xa junmul pa ri sibꞌalaj tyoxalaj kꞌolibꞌal, man xok ta bꞌik chutzujik kikikꞌel ri amaꞌ taq kꞌisikꞌ xane are xuꞌtzuju ri ukikꞌel Areꞌ, rech jeriꞌ xujukol che ri makaj. (aiōnios )
13 for if the blood of bulls, and goats, and ashes of a heifer, sprinkling those defiled, sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh,
Ri kikikꞌel amaꞌ taq kꞌisikꞌ xuqujeꞌ amaꞌ taq wakax, xuqujeꞌ ri uchajil ri kꞌojol taq wakax ri kachikox pa kiwiꞌ ri winaq ri man e chꞌajchꞌoj taj kuꞌtyoxirisaj jeriꞌ kechꞌajchꞌojirik.
14 how much more will the blood of the Christ (who through the perpetual Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God) purify your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (aiōnios )
We jeriꞌ, la mat kꞌu kꞌo na ri ukikꞌel ri Cristo, ri man kꞌo ta xa ta ne nitzꞌ chꞌuluj che ri xtzuj cho ri Dios, are waꞌ kuchꞌajchꞌobꞌej na ri qachomabꞌal che ri itzel taq chak ri xaq kakꞌaman bꞌik pa ri kamikal, rech jeriꞌ kaqapatanij na ri kꞌaslik Dios. (aiōnios )
15 And because of this, He is mediator of a new covenant, that [His] death having come for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, those called may receive the promise of the continuous inheritance, (aiōnios )
Rumal riꞌ, rumal ri Cristo xqakꞌam uqꞌabꞌ jun kꞌakꞌ chꞌekom tzij che ri Dios. Rech jeriꞌ ri e sikꞌital apanoq kakikꞌamawaꞌj ri echabꞌal ri man kasach ta uwach, jeriꞌ rumal cher ri Jesús xkamik chikikirik konojel ri winaq che ri mak ri xkibꞌan kanoq chuxeꞌ ri ojer chꞌekom tzij. (aiōnios )
16 for where a covenant [is], [it is] necessary to establish the death of the [one] having made [it],
Pa we kꞌakꞌ chꞌekom tzij riꞌ sibꞌalaj choqꞌaqꞌ kilik chi ri xyoꞌw kan ri wuj rech echabꞌal, kaminaq chik.
17 for a covenant is affirmed at death, since it is not in force at all when the [one] having made [it] lives,
Rumal cher ri wuj rech echabꞌal xaq xwiꞌ kꞌo kutayij we kakam ri yoꞌwinaq kanoq, man kuya taj kachakun ri wuj we xaq jeꞌ kꞌaslik ri ajchoqꞌe.
18 for which reason, not even the first has been initiated apart from blood,
Jeriꞌ rumal are xbꞌan ri nabꞌe chꞌekom tzij, sibꞌalaj kꞌi aꞌwaj xekamisaxik.
19 for every command having been spoken, according to law, by Moses, to all the people, having taken the blood of the calves and goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, he sprinkled both the scroll itself and all the people,
Are xbꞌiꞌtaj ronojel ri taqanik rech ri Moisés chike ri tinimit, ri Moisés xukꞌam ri kikikꞌel ri kꞌisikꞌ xuqujeꞌ wakax rachiꞌl jaꞌ, kyaq lana, xuqujeꞌ jun uqꞌabꞌ ri qꞌayes ubꞌiꞌnam hisopo, xuchikoj chirij ri wuj rech ri taqanik xuqujeꞌ chikij ri tinimit.
20 saying, “This [is] the blood of the covenant that God enjoined to you,”
Jewaꞌ xubꞌij: Are waꞌ ri kikꞌ rech chꞌekom tzij ri xutaq loq ri Dios chiꞌwe.
21 and he sprinkled both the Dwelling Place and all the vessels of the service with blood in like manner,
Xuqujeꞌ xuchikoj ri kikꞌ puꞌwiꞌ ri Tabernáculo, xuqujeꞌ puꞌwiꞌ ronojel ri jastaq ri kakoj che ri qꞌijilaꞌnem.
22 and with blood almost all things are purified according to the Law, and forgiveness does not come apart from blood-shedding.
Ri taqanik kubꞌij chi rukꞌ kikꞌ kachꞌajchꞌobꞌex ronojel, jeriꞌ rumal we man katixtobꞌ kikꞌ man kakuyutaj ta ri makaj.
23 [It is] necessary, therefore, the pattern indeed of the things in the heavens to be purified with these, and the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these;
Rumal riꞌ sibꞌalaj choqꞌaqꞌ xekamisax ri aꞌwaj rech jeriꞌ kachꞌajchꞌobꞌex ronojel ri kꞌo pa ri Tabernáculo, are wa jun esal uwach ri kaj. Pa ri kaj kajawatajik chi katzuj sipanik ri kꞌo na chikiwach ri aꞌwaj.
24 for the Christ did not enter into holy places made with hands—figures of the true—but into Heaven itself, now to be manifested in the presence of God for us;
Jeriꞌ rumal ri Cristo man xok taj pa ri kꞌolibꞌal qꞌijilaꞌbꞌal Dios ri xaq achyabꞌ e bꞌanowinaq, ri xaq esal uwach ri qꞌijilaꞌbꞌal Dios, xane xok bꞌik pa ri kaj xuꞌta che ri Dios chi kujukuyu.
25 nor that He may offer Himself many times, even as the chief priest enters into the holy places every year with blood of others,
Xuqujeꞌ man xok ta bꞌik pa ri kaj chutzujik ribꞌ sibꞌalaj kꞌi mul jetaq ri kubꞌan ri chꞌawenel cho ri Dios pa kiwiꞌ ri winaq rech uwachulew kok bꞌik pa ri sibꞌalaj tyoxalaj kꞌolibꞌal chutzujik kikikꞌel aꞌwaj.
26 otherwise it was necessary for Him to suffer many times from the foundation of the world, but now He has been revealed once, at the full end of the ages, for [the] annulling of sin through His sacrifice; (aiōn )
We ta jeriꞌ xubꞌan ri Cristo, sibꞌalaj kꞌi mul ta bꞌa ri xkamik xuchapleꞌj ta loq kamik riꞌ are xtiktaj loq ri uwachulew. Man je ta kꞌu riꞌ xubꞌano pa ri kꞌisbꞌal rech taq ri qꞌij xa junmul xukꞌut ribꞌ chibꞌe qꞌij saq rech jeriꞌ xukꞌis puꞌwiꞌ ri mak rukꞌ ri tzujuꞌnijik ri xubꞌano. (aiōn )
27 and as it is reserved for men to die once, and after this—judgment,
Jetaq ri bꞌiꞌtal loq, qonojel uj winaq xa junmul kujkamik, kꞌa te riꞌ kape na ri qꞌatoj tzij.
28 so also the Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, apart from a sin-offering, for salvation to those waiting for Him!
Je xuqujeꞌ ri Cristo xa junmul xutzuj ribꞌ rech jeriꞌ karesaj ri kimak e kꞌi, kꞌa te riꞌ katzalij chi na loq man xa ta kulkam chi junmul rumal ri qamak xane kapetik chuyaꞌik koltajem chike ri kayeꞌm ri upetibꞌal.
