Hebrews 6
1 For this reason, having left the word of the beginning of the Christ, we may advance to perfection, not laying again a foundation of conversion from dead works, and of faith on God,
इसलिये हम सिद्धता को अपना लक्ष्य बना लें, मसीह संबंधित प्रारंभिक शिक्षाओं से ऊपर उठकर परिपक्वता की ओर बढ़ें. नींव दोबारा न रखें, जो व्यर्थ की प्रथाओं से मन फिराना और परमेश्वर के प्रति विश्वास,
2 of the teaching of immersions, also of laying on of hands, also of [the] resurrection of the dead, and of continuous judgment, (aiōnios g166)
शुद्ध होने के विषय, सिर पर हाथ रखने, मरे हुओं के जी उठने तथा अनंत दंड के विषय है. (aiōnios g166)
3 and this we will do, if God may permit,
यदि परमेश्वर हमें आज्ञा दें तो हम ऐसा ही करेंगे.
4 for [it is] impossible for those once enlightened, having also tasted of the heavenly gift, and having become partakers of the Holy Spirit,
जिन्होंने किसी समय सच के ज्ञान की ज्योति प्राप्त कर ली थी, जिन्होंने स्वर्गीय वरदान का स्वाद चख लिया था, जो पवित्र आत्मा के सहभागी हो गए थे,
तथा जो परमेश्वर के उत्तम वचन के, और आनेवाले युग के सामर्थ्य का स्वाद चख लेने के बाद भी (aiōn g165)
6 and having fallen away, to renew [them] again to conversion, having crucified to themselves the Son of God again, and exposed to public shame.
परमेश्वर से दूर हो गए, उन्हें दोबारा पश्चाताप की ओर ले आना असंभव है क्योंकि वे परमेश्वर-पुत्र को अपने लिए दोबारा क्रूस पर चढ़ाने तथा सार्वजनिक रूप से उनका ठट्ठा करने में शामिल हो जाते हैं.
7 For the earth, having drunk in the rain coming on it many times, and is bringing forth herbs fit for those because of whom it is also dressed, partakes of blessing from God,
वह भूमि, जो वृष्टि के जल को सोखकर किसान के लिए उपयोगी उपज उत्पन्न करती है, परमेश्वर की ओर से आशीष पाती है.
8 but that which is bearing thorns and briers [is] disapproved of, and near to cursing, whose end [is] for burning;
किंतु वही भूमि यदि कांटा और ऊंटकटारे उत्पन्न करती है तो वह किसी काम की नहीं है तथा शापित होने पर है—आग में जलाया जाना ही उसका अंत है.
9 but we are persuaded, concerning you, beloved, the things that are better, and accompanying salvation, though even thus we speak,
प्रियो, हालांकि हमने तुम्हारे सामने इस विषय को इस रीति से स्पष्ट किया है; फिर भी हम तुम्हारे लिए इससे अच्छी वस्तुओं तथा उद्धार से संबंधित आशीषों के प्रति आश्वस्त हैं.
10 for God is not unrighteous to forget your work, and the labor of love that you showed to His Name, having ministered to the holy ones and ministering;
परमेश्वर अन्यायी नहीं हैं कि उनके सम्मान के लिए तुम्हारे द्वारा पवित्र लोगों के भले के लिए किए गए—तथा अब भी किए जा रहे—भले कामों और तुम्हारे द्वारा उनके लिए अभिव्यक्त प्रेम की उपेक्षा करें.
11 and we desire each one of you to show the same diligence, to the full assurance of the hope to the end,
हमारी यही इच्छा है कि तुममें से हर एक में ऐसा उत्साह प्रदर्शित हो कि अंत तक तुममें आशा का पूरा निश्चय स्पष्ट दिखाई दे.
12 that you may not become slothful, but followers of those who through faith and patient endurance are inheriting the promises.
तुम आलसी न बनो परंतु उन लोगों के पद-चिह्नों पर चलो, जो विश्वास तथा धीरज द्वारा प्रतिज्ञाओं के वारिस हैं.
13 For God, having made promise to Abraham, seeing He was not able to swear by [any] greater, swore by Himself,
परमेश्वर ने जब अब्राहाम से प्रतिज्ञा की तो शपथ लेने के लिए उनके सामने स्वयं से बड़ा और कोई न था, इसलिये उन्होंने अपने ही नाम से यह शपथ ली,
14 saying, “Blessing I will indeed bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you”;
“निश्चयतः मैं तुम्हें आशीष दूंगा और तुम्हारे वंश को बढ़ाता जाऊंगा”
15 and so, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise;
इसलिये अब्राहाम धीरज रखकर प्रतीक्षा करते रहे तथा उन्हें वह प्राप्त हुआ, जिसकी प्रतिज्ञा की गई थी.
16 for men swear by the greater, and the oath [is] for confirmation of the end of all their controversy,
मनुष्य तो स्वयं से बड़े व्यक्ति की शपथ लेता है; तब दोनों पक्षों के लिए पुष्टि के रूप में ली गई शपथ सभी झगड़ों का अंत कर देती है.
17 in which God, more abundantly willing to show to the heirs of the promise the immutability of His counsel, interposed by an oath,
इसी प्रकार परमेश्वर ने इस उद्देश्य से शपथ ली कि वह प्रतिज्ञा के वारिसों को अपने न बदलनेवाले उद्देश्य के विषय में पूरी तरह संतुष्ट करें.
18 that through two immutable things, in which [it is] impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong comfort, having fled for refuge, to lay hold on the hope being set before [us],
इसलिए कि दो न बदलनेवाली वस्तुओं द्वारा, जिनके विषय में परमेश्वर झूठे साबित हो ही नहीं सकते; हमें, जिन्होंने उनकी शरण ली है, उस आशा को सुरक्षित रखने का दृढ़ता से साहस प्राप्त हो, जो हमारे सामने प्रस्तुत की गई है.
19 which we have, as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and entering into that within the veil,
यही आशा हमारे प्राण का लंगर है, स्थिर तथा दृढ़. जो उस पर्दे के भीतर पहुंचता भी है,
