Hebrews 5
1 For every chief priest taken out of men is set in things [pertaining] to God in behalf of men, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins,
१क्योंकि हर एक महायाजक मनुष्यों में से लिया जाता है, और मनुष्यों ही के लिये उन बातों के विषय में जो परमेश्वर से सम्बंध रखती हैं, ठहराया जाता है: कि भेंट और पापबलि चढ़ाया करे।
2 being able to be gentle to those being ignorant and going astray, since he is also surrounded with weakness;
२और वह अज्ञानियों, और भूले भटकों के साथ नर्मी से व्यवहार कर सकता है इसलिए कि वह आप भी निर्बलता से घिरा है।
3 and because of this [weakness] he ought, just as for the people, so also for himself, to bring forward [sacrifices] for sins;
३और इसलिए उसे चाहिए, कि जैसे लोगों के लिये, वैसे ही अपने लिये भी पापबलि चढ़ाया करे।
4 and no one takes the honor to himself, but he who is called by God, as also Aaron.
४और यह आदर का पद कोई अपने आप से नहीं लेता, जब तक कि हारून के समान परमेश्वर की ओर से ठहराया न जाए।
5 So also the Christ did not glorify Himself to become Chief Priest, but He who spoke to Him: “You are My Son, today I have begotten You”;
५वैसे ही मसीह ने भी महायाजक बनने की महिमा अपने आप से नहीं ली, पर उसको उसी ने दी, जिसने उससे कहा था, “तू मेरा पुत्र है, आज मैं ही ने तुझे जन्माया है।”
6 just as He also says in another [place], “You [are] a priest throughout the age, according to the order of Melchizedek”; (aiōn g165)
६इसी प्रकार वह दूसरी जगह में भी कहता है, “तू मलिकिसिदक की रीति पर सदा के लिये याजक है।” (aiōn g165)
7 who in the days of His flesh having offered up both prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and having been heard in respect to that which He feared,
७यीशु ने अपनी देह में रहने के दिनों में ऊँचे शब्द से पुकार पुकारकर, और आँसू बहा-बहाकर उससे जो उसको मृत्यु से बचा सकता था, प्रार्थनाएँ और विनती की और भक्ति के कारण उसकी सुनी गई।
8 though being a Son, [He] learned obedience by the things which He suffered,
८और पुत्र होने पर भी, उसने दुःख उठा-उठाकर आज्ञा माननी सीखी।
9 and having been made perfect, He became the cause of continuous salvation to all those obeying Him, (aiōnios g166)
९और सिद्ध बनकर, अपने सब आज्ञा माननेवालों के लिये सदाकाल के उद्धार का कारण हो गया। (aiōnios g166)
10 having been called by God a Chief Priest according to the order of Melchizedek,
१०और उसे परमेश्वर की ओर से मलिकिसिदक की रीति पर महायाजक का पद मिला।
11 concerning the Word, of whom we have much [to speak], and of hard explanation to say, since you have become dull of hearing,
११इसके विषय में हमें बहुत सी बातें कहनी हैं, जिनका समझाना भी कठिन है; इसलिए कि तुम ऊँचा सुनने लगे हो।
12 for even owing to be teachers, because of the time, again you have need that one teach you what [are] the elements of the beginning of the oracles of God, and you have become having need of milk, and not of strong food,
१२समय के विचार से तो तुम्हें गुरु हो जाना चाहिए था, तो भी यह आवश्यक है, कि कोई तुम्हें परमेश्वर के वचनों की आदि शिक्षा फिर से सिखाए? तुम तो ऐसे हो गए हो, कि तुम्हें अन्न के बदले अब तक दूध ही चाहिए।
13 for everyone who is partaking of milk [is] unskilled in the word of righteousness—for he is an infant,
१३क्योंकि दूध पीनेवाले को तो धार्मिकता के वचन की पहचान नहीं होती, क्योंकि वह बच्चा है।
14 and the strong food is of perfect men, who because of the use are having the senses exercised, to both the discernment of good and of evil.
१४पर अन्न सयानों के लिये है, जिनकी ज्ञानेन्द्रियाँ अभ्यास करते-करते, भले बुरे में भेद करने में निपुण हो गई हैं।
